Could you explain drag to me? So men dress up as women, I guess? And then they use she/her pronouns and are called queen. Are drag queens trans or is it just a thing for fun? I'm just wondering how it works.
they don’t dress up as women, they dress up as Drag performers. it’s a type of performance art and generally has no bearing on how ppl identify. yes there are ppl who start out as Drag performers and then realize they are trans, or knew were trans from the start. most are cis men who love the artform and the experience of Drag, but there’s also cis women, and trans folks perform too.
this is cuz ppl of all gender identities have fun putting on makeup, dressing up all fancy, and then going to be a star on stage! it’s def a thing ppl do for fun and can be incredibly passionate about this art form. there’s both Drag Queens and Drag Kings, and their art generally has no bearing on their gender identity. hope tht clears things up turtledove.
Those eyes though! My QT partner all dressed up to go to a show with their super cute alien space buns. I always love their makeup and I hope I can be as good as them at it someday. aliEn spAce bAbe 👽🌙🚀🌠✨ I love you to the moons!!! 💕❤🌈 @gutterbabydoll
Just dropped by to say I love the Master of Disguise fic! I particularly loved imagining the second chapter when they first see Lance all dressed up. If I could art I would so draw the part where Hunk give Lance a twirl or when Lance does the fake accent causing Pidge to laugh, those truly are glorious images in my head. Thank You!!!!
NO! THANK YOU < you absolute gem! YESSS OH MY GOSH YES!!! (i was thinking of drawing them in their formal disguises) (i might later)
Getting friends in to musicals is hard because when they ask what it’s about you have to be like “15 year olds having sex” or “a plant from outer space that takes over the world” or “teenagers killing people for fun” or “Alexander Hamilton”
