This is Petra and she is the beautiful queen of Lady Dinah’s cat emporium cafe in London UK! All the cats here are lovely at this ‘Alice in Wonderland’ themed cafe but Petra just radiates queenly beauty! 😽♥️🇬🇧👑
Today’s concept piece is a site plan of a little-seen interactive walkthrough once proposed for the United Kingdom pavilion at EPCOT Center. This charming attraction would welcome guests to explore four zones, themed to Anglo-centric Mary Poppins, Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh and Robin Hood. Peppered throughout the winding, lushly-wooded trail would be highly-themed topiaries, character meet-and-greets, photo ops, fountains, a Cheshire Cat Maze, an interactive Robin Hood castle, and a Mary Poppins carousel. The expansion of the pavilion would also bring the Mouseterpiece entertainment theatre and a much-needed icon in the form of Big Ben and Parliament.
hey, all! i keep seeing a bunch of people doing redraws of old art and i thought i’d join in!
the original drawing was done in 2007 (i think i was 15 or 16?) with markers and the new one was drawn this week with photoshop! the characters bonnet and ribbon were alice and the white rabbit respectively as part of this whole weird trippy alice-themed story i’d written. it’s really weird seeing how much my art (and my storytelling) has matured in the past 8 years, something that seemed weirdly impossible when i was 15, despite how long 8 years is.
The Alice in Wonderland restaurant in Tokyo, Japan. You go up an elevator and enter a small room with a giant Alice in Wonderland book. The Mad Hatter opens the first page, to reveal a long winding tunnel full of large book pages, clocks and maps. When you reach the restaurant, you are greeted by maids in blue Alice outfits. The menu opens to reveal a miniature room complete with working clock. I ordered card tortilla chips, rose spaghetti and themed drinks.
