This year Frieze Art Fair NY was really interesting, heard it was better than last year. Maybe the economical context was less present in everybody’s mind? Anyway, all the big shots were here as they should, no surprise there. A large variety of conceptual art and surrealism was available, very poetic. I felt lightness as a general background theme: colors, crazy inventive shapes, and burlesque. It was jolly even if a lot of heavy art was still showed (which is awesome btw). Like a grasp at renewal after a gloomy day.
