During her pregnancy with Tino, Apollonia has many vivid dreams about her husband’s late brother, Santino.
The first dream is when they “meet” at her second wedding. “Naming the fella after me, eh?” Sonny cracks.
A lot of these dreams are vivid, and sometimes disturbing. In one dream, she watched Sonny die in the way the Corleones told her they did: shot down by numerous men while Sonny was trying to protect Connie from her scumbag husband.
The last dream she has of Sonny is when she is under anesthesia during her pregnancy. Sonny is holding baby Tino in his arms after being passed around by the rest of the family.
“You’re going to be a tough kid, I know it! A true Sicilian.”
