Week 20 - Photograph
These photos were part of a collection at the Al Jalili Fort in Al Ain, U.A.E. The photos highlighted Wilfred Thesiger’s (author of “Arabian Sands”) travels through the Rub’ al Khali also more famously known as The Empty Quarter. The Rub’ al Khali is the largest sand desert in the world which Thesiger explored with the help of bedouins in the 1940s. These photos were taken with his Leica II.
