air garden

anonymous asked:

ohhh could you do an angsty scenario for sinbad where he's in love with someone, but they treat him coldly and reject him bc they think he's just playing around as usual?

How did you know I love writing angst? ┬┴┬┴┤( ͡° ͜ʖ├┬┴┬┴

You closed your eyes and breathed in the fresh air from the garden, you were taking a break from being Ja’far’s assistant for a while.

In your opinion, it was the best way to spend your personal time, being outside with the fresh air felt relaxing, but that was all ruined when someone came by and whispered in your ear.

“These are almost as beautiful as you.”

You sighed in exasperation and opened your eyes to see someone you really didn’t want to see at the moment. “What do want, king Sinbad?” You asked, turning away from him and closing your eyes once more.

His brows scrunched and he went in front of you, “I thought I told you to stop calling me king?”

You mentally rolled your eyes, “what do you want?”

He smirked and leaned towards your ear, “you.”

You groaned and got up to leave, as you walked off you turned to him. “Thanks for ruining my time of peace!” You then disappeared to go perform more duties for Ja’far.

You hummed happily as you ate the sweets Aladdin, Alibaba. and Morgiana had gotten for you. It had improved your day ever since that confrontation with king Sinbad in the garden.

“How are you enjoying those?”

You rolled your eyes, “I have work to do, king Sinbad.” With that said you began organizing documents for Ja’far to look at later on.

“You can skip out on that for a couple of minutes…” He brought his arms around you.

You grabbed his arms and began to pinch them, you soon turned to him with malice in your eyes, “leave. Me. Alone.”

He flinched and ripped his arms away. To avoid the awkwardness, you left with your hands filled with scrolls and documents.

Sinbad groaned as you evaded him with yet another rude comment, you had been like this after a few weeks of you working at the castle and frankly, he didn’t know why. So, he went to confront you.

He had caught you while you were about to go to your room and sleep. As of now, you were pinned to the wall with no room for escape.

“What do you want?” You asked with your arms crossed.

“Why are treating me this way?” He questioned firmly.

Your jaw clenched as well as your fists, “I’m not your toy. Leave me be.”

He rose a brow, “what are you talking about?”

You looked at him with disbelief, “you’re kidding, right? You don’t remember?” Tears filled your eyes.

His expression grew, even more, confused. You then decided to tell him everything that happened.

“It happened a few weeks after I started working here…”

~A few weeks ago

You walked to king Sinbad’s room with a slight skip in your step, these past few weeks that you had been working here had been the best of your life. What made it so amazing was that king Sinbad seemed to be interested in you.

You took a deep breath and as you approached the door, you clutched the piece of paper in your hand. Your plan was to slip it under the door in hopes that he would read your confession.

As you were about to slid in the paper you heard a noise. Your eyes widened as the noises continued.

“King Sinbad~.”

Tears filled your eyes, you could only guess that it was another one of concubines in there with him. The tears soon began cascading down your face as it continued.

Your fists clenched around the note, you thought he liked you. You thought he wasn’t like what everyone said he was. You thought you weren’t going to be another plaything.

Turns out you were wrong.

You grew angry, infuriated, and then frustrated. You stormed to the railing and ripped up the note and threw it out to the wind. You then marched off into your room to cry out your angry tears.

Ironically, the paper was like your heart.

Expect Sinbad was the one ripping it into pieces.

You avoided his eyes and gazed down at the floor. You never planned to tell him this, but things change…

“I did that?” He asked surprised.

“Yes. Now, do me a favor. Leave me alone.”

Just as you were about to leave he grabbed your wrists, stopping you. You held in your tears as you evaded his gaze.

“Look at me.”

You soon gave in and met his apologetic golden gaze. “I’m sorry for hurting you the way I did. Let me make it up to you.”

You took in a breath and nodded. Sinbad smiled down at you and leaned down to meet your lips. As you were about to close your eyes to meet his as well you saw something flash in his eyes.

You quickly pushed him away and a shadow covered your eyes, “stop.”

He was taken aback as you did, “what’s the problem?”

You swallowed the lump in your throat, “I saw the look in your eyes. You don’t care about me and you never will. From now on just treat me like any other worker in this castle.-” you bowed to him and walked off- “have a nice night, king Sinbad.”

Fortunately, he didn’t notice your tears.

A few weeks after that, you left Sindria.

Monday 8:27am
I woke up with you on my mind.
You called me babe last night —
my heart is still pounding.

Tuesday 10:53pm
Today I realized we won’t work.
What we are is hurting her.
And I think she matters more to me than you do.

Wednesday 11:52pm
I broke things off with you today.
She barely said a word.
I’ve never regretted anything more than this.

Thursday 4:03pm
I shouldn’t have sent that message.
You shouldn’t have been so okay with receiving it.

Friday 9:57pm
I almost messaged you today.
I didn’t.

Saturday 8:49pm
I’m walking around town in search of alcohol.
They say that liquor numbs the pain of having a broken heart.
I want to put that to the test.

Sunday 2:32am
I heard you texted a girl you’ve never spoken to before.
I wonder if it’s because you’re trying to replace me.
I can’t help but wish you weren’t.
I thought I was irreplaceable.

—  a week with you on my mind, c.j.n.
Move on, leave, run away, escape this place… but don’t forget about me, about us, about this town. Always remember where you come from so you can appreciate how far you’ve come.
