BITE Presents: The Young Designers Project

BITE is proud to be presenting The Young Designers Project, a non-profit collaboration of talent with a strong and defined point of view. This Fall 2013, with the theme “Internet as Democracy” debuts Wednesday, February 6th 2013 as a digital presentation across multiple online platforms who share the same passion for upcoming talent.

The Young Designers Project aims to be at the forefront of the digital media revolution to raise awareness of upcoming talent and the importance of a strong, artistic collaboration of different mediums revolving around the idea of Fashion. YDP will be an evolving seasonal project that will feature collections of young designers based throughout the US.

Norway born designer Aina Beck has proven to have a firm understanding of her design aesthetic with an outstanding debut at Parsons The New School for Design’s MFA Fashion Design and Society program last season. For Fall 2013, Beck’s collection tells the tale of a journey through personally developed prints with an emphasis on exploring the use of new mediums. Featuring her new relationship with denim and metallic foiling, she has created a capsule collection that balances relaxed femininity and extreme serenity.
