Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley Drawing Contest Grand Prize Winners

We would like to thank everyone that participated in the Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley Drawing Contest. Every picture was special in its own way, and we truly appreciate all the time, effort, and creativity that went into each and every one. Coming up with five (5) Grand Prize winners was extremely difficult. All entries, physical and digital, were judged by a panel of Natsume employees, including the president of Natsume, the producer of Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley, and key members of the development team.

Entries were evaluated on a variety of criteria, including, but not limited to: age, technique, feeling, and how well the picture represented Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley.
Here’s the Grand Prize Winners (in no particular order)!

What is your favorite romance novel that you would recommend?

Do you want to cry or do you not want to cry? Right now I am reading Eleanor & Park and although it’s cute and happy, I want to bawl in a corner by myself.

But I’ve created a short list for you:

Here are some short romance reads that makes me happy:

  • Thrill Ride - Rachel Hawthorne (ANY BOOK BY HER) but especially Caribbean Cruising, Love on the Lifts, The Boyfriend League, and Labor of Love.
  • Unfinished Business - Nora Roberts (ANY ROMANCE BOOK BY HER)
  • The Longest Ride - Nicholas Sparks
  • Beautiful Disaster - Jamie McGuire
  • I Wrote This For You - pleasefindthis

Some that made me sad and/or cry:

  • The Best of Me - Nicholas Sparks
  • The Lover’s Dictionary - David Levithan
  • The Fault In Our Stars - John Green
  • The Pact - Jodi Picoult
  • Looking For Alaska - John Green
  • My Name Is Memory - Ann Brashares

Some novels with mature content:

  • Wallbanger - Alice Clayton
  • Beautiful series - Christina Lauren (My favorite is the third one, Beautiful Bastard. It’s really funny, actually.)

Some classics/English class novels I love:

  • Romeo & Juliet - William Shakespeare
  • Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte
  • Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen
  • The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald
  • The Scarlett Letter - Nathaniel Hawthorne (It’s romance-ish, I think)

And last but not least, here are some novels that do have some kind of romance in its plot:

  • Delirium series - Lauren Oliver
  • The Goddess Test series - Aimee Carter
  • Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow - Jessica Day George
  • City of Bones series - Cassandra Clare
  • Divergent series - Veronica Roth
  • Legend series - Marie Lu
  • The Fifth Wave series - Rick Yancey

There are so many books on my to-read list. I can’t wait to get to them! :)
