Everyone is always mentioning the timeline errors in PJO, like how Will isn’t Nico’s age or whatever

But guys

the Stolls

did they ever age at all in the series?

i’m watching a series of unfortunate events and i feel like i’m gonna cry because like ... i’ve been waiting for this from the ages of like 7-14 like this series was so important to me! the movie wasn’t that great!

I’m so tired of how Coach is always portrayed as this huge homophobic asswipe of a father to Bitty. Like yes, Coach is a southern man who loves football and Bitty is afraid of telling his father that he’s gay. But like I’m so tired of Coach being written as disowning his son and all of this other stuff. Like in canon, Coach is supportive.
Bitty did figure skating from ages 7-14, and the only reason he stopped was because they moved and the commute to train would be too much. Coach encouraged him in that. Coach went to his competitions. Coach paid for it. And figure skating is NOT cheap, especially for a family who is living off of a teacher’s salary.
Coach got a new job at a different school so they had to move before Bitty’s freshmen year of high school. Why would Coach do that? Maybe because his son was locked in a supply closer overnight by the football team, Coach’s team? Coach’s team locked his son, his tiny, happy, sunshine son in a supply closet. Coach was the head coach of a football team, and at his new school he was still a head coach. Do you know how hard that is? Coach probably started looking for a new position the moment bitty said “the football team did it.” Because his only son was being terrorized by the boys on his team.
Coach never came to Samwell, it was always Suzanne. Because Coach is a high school teacher. And the head coach of a football team. During summer and fall, he is in full swing of football, and can’t leave Madison.
Coach and Suzanne suspect that Bitty is gay, but since Bitty hasn’t said anything, they won’t either.
I just want Coach to be written as a confused, but supportive dad, and who loves his son more than anything but doesn’t know how to show it.

FRISK X SANS IS NOT PEDOPHELIA/ SHOULD BE SEEN AS CREEPY

Okay, I am sick as hell of seeing people complaining that this ship is creepy and encouraging others not to ship it, usually saying that it is creepy or pedophilia. First off the bat, you think that Frans is creepy? What about thinking of two skeleton brothers banging? I don’t like to be rude towards other peoples ships but looking at fotcest insn’t exactly what I like doing, even though I do respect the shippers alot, no offece to any of you because your all lovely, I just don’t personally ship it.
Frisk is viewed normally (by fans and such) around the age group of 7-14 as far as I’m aware, and although it’s never confirmed Sans isn’t normally seen as over 30. Most of the fans who ship the two imagine them both AROUND THE SAME AGE- Or at least as Frisk growing up. You think people go around shipping pedophilia? Who would do that, it’s disgusting! NO ONE who ships it goes around saying “Yeah, I imagine them with a twenty year age difference.”

This next part is directed towards the Soriel shippers who are mean about the ship and use it to put forward their own and NOT towards the soriel shippers who are respectful, because I know that the majority of them are sweet.

If anything, I don’t ship Soriel because I find IT creepy. Toriel is NOT young, if it wasn’t for monsters only aging if they had children who were alive then she would be most likely dead. She is a grandmother, maybe even a great grandmother or older. She was in a previous marriage for quite a few years and had two children. All six fallen children fell before Frisk and after Chara, so Chara was dead for many years. The souls didn’t all fall straight away one after the other. Alphys, Papyrus, Undyne etc have never seen a human before, and they are all about young adults so there has to be around an almost twenty year gap between the fallen children, and Goat mum has seen them all. She and Sans have a much longer age gap than Frisk and Sans, so I don’t know why it’s hated so much.

I AM NOT SAYING THAT YOU HAVE TO SHIP IT. IM MAKING A POINT THAT IT SHOULD NOT BE VIEWED IN SUCH A BAD WAY.

Thank you if you read it all through. I hope someone can learn something from this.

((Edit: Thank you to most people for not being cruel about this vent, I was just upset to see so many people hating on this ship. I was not expecting so much support and notes, despite the few hate anons I received as a result. Thank you. I hope I didn’t offend anyone - this is my opinion.))

When I was 15 and I first started liking a girl, I thought I was a lesbian for two reasons: 1) it’s impossible to like more than one gender, obviously 2) I hadn’t liked anyone in a year, and obviously boy crushes from ages 7-14 could be discounted because I was young, right? Bi visibility is cool and important

I’m sick and tired of people being like “Taylor Swift’s audience demographic ranges from ages 7 to 14”. Maybe it did when she started making music back in 2006 but news flash: not only has she grown up but so have the fans that have stuck by her as well. Taylor Swift’s music can be relatable to anyone from 7 years of age to 77 and beyond. Stop shaming grown ups for liking someone that “is geared towards younger kids” when that’s not even remotely accurate.
