Finally! Here is the final installation of our three part Fall Fashion series. Once again, I think we can all agree we are well into winter time now, but since it has been 70 degrees for the past couple of weeks in Atlanta, we have had a good excuse to prolong our beloved fall fashion a bit longer than usual. Regardless, these colors and patterns work throughout both fall and winter, and in this case, the pattern featured in this post is a cult favorite year round: stripes. Classics transcend all seasons and fads, and stripes are undeniably a classic. Though the stripes are typically thin and basic black and white, they can be worn in any color combination with any thickness of the stripes. Also, they can be both dressed up and dressed down. Angela and I tried to create a happy medium between the two, both featuring striped turtlenecks. Angela wore a striped turtleneck with a black base and white stripes with a tan corduroy skater skirt, black socks, and white sneakers. I wore a ¾ sleeve turtleneck with a white base and black stripes with high waisted shorts, gray knee socks, and black platform boots to elevate the look… no pun intended.

Angela and I hope you’ve enjoyed this three part Fall Fashion series as much as we enjoyed making it, and if you’ve missed the previous two please check them out! Regardless of if you’re spending them in the snow or on some beach in Cancun, the Afroglow wishes you and yours the happiest of holidays!
