The fashion show will be held @ the Hub, with many others activities during the International Women’s Day on March 12th. Save the date, we will keep you posted 😊 “ Sylvia Acquah is a PhD student at The University of Sheffield. Her PhD seeks to explore the manifestation of empowerment within Social Enterprises but alongside her PhD she also set up and run El-Addo. El-Addo is a social enterprise blending fabrics and concepts to depict the multicultural society we live in here in the UK.
The aim of El-Addo is to bring different cultures together and support refugees and asylum seekers here in the UK, to develop various employability skills.
El-Addo provide a warm and friendly environment for participants to develop sewing and designing skills, along with business management skills. Sylvia is also one of the designer at El-Addo.
