SKYDIVE EXTRAVAGANZA: In this  Tuesday, April 1, 2014 photo provided by The World Team, a group of 222 skydivers from 28 nations, team members dive over Eloy, Ariz. The jump was part of the group’s ongoing attempt to set a world record by forming two distinct aerial formations within the same dive. The team did not break the record with this attempt.

The Missing Man formation: an aerial salute to fallen pilots.
This formation was first demonstrated by British fighter pilots over the funeral of Manheim “The Red Baron” von Richthofen as a sign of respect from his fellow aces.
It was such an awesome feeling to witness this on the 71st anniversary of Operation Overlord
