Post production notes:
I usually roll my own custom filters in Adobe Camera Raw. I used to use VSCO but those are always green for some reason. So now I just grade images on the fly. Before I start grading my shots I usually have preconceived notions about how I want them to look. This one went an entirely different direction as I started grading and it ended up looking like Kodak Ektar 100. I’ll never be able to replicate it. The most important driver to creating a look is the base image. This one was pretty ‘contrasty’ to begin with and I think the yellows, golds and blues just made it what it was.
