After sitting in her room for 2 hours, Adelaide had decided that the best thing about living with so many people was that there was always someone around to keep her entertained, or someone she could pester into doing something with her. With the thought in mind, she made her way to the living room to see Ryan, just getting off the phone with someone. She smiled - he would be easy to convince into going somewhere with her, maybe holding her stuff while she shopped, or even dressing him up however she liked. Though as soon as she climbed onto the sofa she saw that neither of those things would be happening, as judging by the look on his face, he was on the verge of tears. She sighed inwardly. She was terrible with this sort of stuff but she couldn’t exactly just get up and leave. “Is everything alright?” she asked concernedly, turning to face him.
Finishing the last song of her set, Zara thanked the crowd before stepping off the stage with a final wave. Walking up to the barista, she grabbed her usual drink - black coffee, already ready on the counter for her. “Thanks Trev.” she said with a smile, leaning against the countertop as they began to talk.
“Mark just hired a new performer, I think it’s just for this one performance.” Trevor said, nodding in the direction of the stage.
Zara followed his gaze, frowning as they started to sing and dance. “Um what is this?” she asked, raising an eyebrow. “Musical theatre? Mark, what the hell?” the man came up to the two of them, she had a pretty good relationship with her boss thankfully.
