5x14 // 5x16 || When love is involved, no sacrifice is too great. Sacrificing your happiness for the happiness of the one you love, is by far, the truest kind.

@ kids with ADHD who

-are hyperactive and can’t sit still

-have trouble reading

-have trouble socializing

-have depression and/or anxiety as a result of struggling in school

-aren’t diagnosed and are written off as “lazy”, “stupid”, or “unmotivated” by teachers and parents

Fred and George having the conversation of which of them was planned, leading all the kids to get into it....
  • Fred and George: We were totally planned together because look at Mum's brothers. Totally meant to happen to honor them...
  • Ron: Please. I'm sure neither of you were planned it just happened. Me on the other hand *adjusts shirt, sitting up straighter in fake pride*
  • Bill: Seriously guys? You do realize I was the only one actually wanted right? You all just happened...
  • Charlie: Why are we discussing this? *knowing very well Molly had planned him so he wasn't bothering with the discussion*
  • Percy: *rolls eyes* because they need to feel like they are wanted, when obviously we all were wanted or we wouldn't be here...
  • Ron: Shut up Perc, you're just annoyed because you know you weren't planned. Who would want you... mum and dad just had too big of a heart to get rid of you..
  • Arthur: *pops his head into the room* Actually you're right. Only one of you was planned... Ginny, Dear, Sorry it took so long to get to you...
Stupid

This was stupid

This whole thing, it was so stupid, and it made Annabeth feel stupid, and she wasn’t stupid, she was smart, gods damn it, so why couldn’t she do this? She should have been able to do this.

She only realised she was crying when a tear splashed on to the page of her textbook, blurring the black letters printed on the white page. That tear falling felt like conceding defeat, and soon enough she was crying in earnest, sobbing hard enough that the words became even less intelligible than they’d already been.

She put her head down on the book and let herself cry, feeling terribly stupid and sorry and frustrated. Her whole face felt hot, flushed with anger and annoyance - at this essay, at herself, at the fact that she was a daughter of the goddess of wisdom and she couldn’t seem to write a simple fucking essay.

When the door to her room opened she instinctively straightened, grabbing her dagger and spinning in her seat to face the intruder. When she saw who it was she immediately collapsed back onto the desk, face first, letting her dagger fall to the floor.

She heard Percy shut the door behind himself. There were a few soft footsteps, and then a gentle hand on her shaking shoulder and a quiet question. “Annabeth, hey, what’s up?”

Reasons you should watch Bojack Horseman
  • Accurate portrayal of depression
  • A canon ace main character
  • Takes on controversial topics with humor (abortion, Bill Cosby, Veteran praise, etc)
  • Animal puns and a million background puns
  • Relatable main characters
  • Accurate portrayal of abusive home situation and it’s affects
  • It’s beautiful
  • Crazy amounts of foreshadowing and full circle pay off
  • Shows both healthy and unhealthy relationships
  • A female main character puts her career in front of her love life for a while
  • Realistic portrayal of a couple who is middle aged but doesn’t want children
  • Explores hollywood toxicity and the ‘the grass is always greener’ meantality
  • Accurate description and portrayal of life and stagnation (the point in life where you finally stop growing and changing)

Also really good lessons I learned

  • You aren’t obligated to accept anyone’s apology
  • 'When you look at someone through rose colored glasses all the red flags just look like flags’
  • 'It gets easier. Everyday it gets a little easier. But you gotta do it everyday that’s the hard part’
  • Sometimes you have to just stop expecting someone to be a good person so you aren’t disappointed when they aren’t
  • Sometimes happiness is selfish and you can’t be apologetic for it
  • It’s easier to fix other’s problems than your own
  • Sometimes it’s too hard to be a grand hero and you just can’t do it
  • You have to take responsibility for you own actions, even if you did have a tough break and a shitty upbringing
  • Sometimes even though someone loves you, it’s not enough
  • Never EVER snort Bojack the heroin

risusgarbage  asked:

Can I just say how much the idea of getting to be NEETs all their lives is already bothering me especially when it's a thing they rather kinda struggle with in the actual show. Like why are CHOROMATSU and TODOMATSU agreeing to this. The only one that feels remotely 'proud' of being a NEET to me is Osomatsu.

ahahahahahahaha

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

silly risu-chan. you think this is the worst this event has in store for you??? no. no no no. this is like… nothing compared to the hell you’re about to experience in the remaining 4 stories. in fact, this one is like the best one out of the entire batch because nothing’s freaking happened yet

also be prepared to legitimately feel bad for totty because I sure as hell did even though I never feel bad for any of these scumbags (you know a part of me feels like I should feel sorry for kara too while I’m at it but listen 1. I’m never going to feel sorry for kara 2. totty genuinely gets more shit in this event than even kara)

“Critical Race Theory operates on three basic premises: that racism is pervasive; that racism is permanent; and that racism must be challenged.”

“Second, racism adapts to socio-cultural changes by altering its expression, but it never diminishes or disappears.”

i’d like to nominate these for Most Depressing Premises With Which to Begin a Report on Anti-Racism Interventions in Education

said report does not explain 1) why we’re bothering to challenge racism if even lessening it is literally impossible, or 2) why the frick I should take these guys’ word for it that racism is some kind of invincible law of the universe. presumably I have to study critical race theory in order to critique these assumptions, but curiously crt has not been taught in this class, which makes it kind of difficult to keep up with the report, tbh

I printed some color tests on different cardstock for some stationery sets I plan on putting on my storenvy at some point.

Gonna try making some doublesided square cards on 240gr recycled cardstock tomorrow as well as some envelopes and sleeves to put the cards in.
