actually their first date was at a bar

A Woman's Personality

(Check your Venus Sign)

The Urban Sophisticate: LEO, SAGITTARIUS

Her strengths: This woman is funny, hot, and spontaneous. When you walk into a room with her, everyone stares at you in envy. Neil Strauss, the author of the best-selling dating memoir The Game, puts it simply, “This is the kind of girl everyone wants, and it makes you feel awesome when you’re the one who has her.“

Her weaknesses: "You need enormous confidence to date a woman like this,” Strauss says. “She gets off on attention, but you can’t get jealous.” If you’re independent, you’ll dig her ambition, but make sure she wants you–and not just the ego boost you provide.

The Arty Hipster: PISCES, GEMINI

Her strengths: She knows where all the dive bars are and all the art shows with free wine. She’s exciting and stylish, but not as untouchable as the urban sophisticate. “She actually likes nerds and intellectuals,” says Ian Coburn, author of God Is a Woman: Dating Disasters. And she actually cares about culture. “She can be great for a guy who wants to learn more about art and music,” says Ian Kerner, Ph.D., a relationship therapist and the author of She Comes First.

Her weaknesses: Do you keep going after her because you hope her cool will rub off on you? If your interests don’t match, don’t expect to just coast along on her taste. “Girls like this have opinions,” Kerner says. “And they want you to know the difference between Jonathan Adler and Jonathan Richman.”

The Vegan Yoga Gal: AQUARIUS, LIBRA

Her strengths: She’s got great skin and a long neck, and she gives you long back rubs with wacky oils. All that deep breathing means she rarely flies off the handle, and you value this perhaps even more than you value her amazing, high, tight rear, which is saying a lot. Strauss says, “This is a woman who really wants to make a deep connection with life, and a man who wants the same could be really into her.” Fisher says that independent, analytical, or creative guys could find her alternative view fascinating.

Her weaknesses: Remember, Strauss notes, “These women are almost exclusively interested in men who are into the same stuff they are.” Love her, love her lifestyle.

The Alpha Female: VIRGO, ARIES

Her strengths: She graduated from college in 3 years and went right to law school without taking a vacation. She’s hard to keep up with. Ironically, it’s not the alpha dog who should try dating her. “A scientist, artist, or teacher will do well with this woman,” says April Masini, author of Date Out of Your League. “If you’re not interested in power plays, she won’t fight you."

Her weaknesses: She has a lot in common with alpha males, but these relationships are too intense. "They can’t make time for each other,” Fisher says. Coburn cautions that pushover types are often attracted to such women, and some alpha females – the sadistic ones – are attracted right back. “Obviously, if this is your dynamic, it isn’t good.”

The Intimacy Junkie: CAPRICORN, SCORPIO

Her strengths: She goes to yoga, too, but it’s the easy kind that’s more about “connection to the self” than sculpting a smoking bod. So what if she’s a little in your face. The sex is amazing. Strauss likes women like this. “She is the best kisser in the world. Very intense, very into connecting.” Fisher says independent men will love such a deeply verbal gal, and Kerner thinks all men should date someone like this. “Most men need help learning to communicate, and she will help them."

Her weaknesses: The intimacy junkie makes you feel great at first. She’s so into you and your feelings. Analytical men will find themselves easily ensnared in her macramé web. "He will be super into her at first, but there’s going to be a lot of talk about the ‘meaning’ of the relationship, which might cause it to implode,” Fisher says.

The Happy Homemaker: CANCER, TAURUS

Her strengths: She’s no gold digger – all she wants is a Volvo wagon and a nice, cozy three-bedroom. She wants to have your kids, take care of them, and take care of you. “Some guys draw a great deal of ego satisfaction from providing for a family, and there is nothing wrong with that,” says Masini. A man who grew up in a very traditional household will love her, and, conversely, a guy who grew up with domestic chaos craves this woman for the stable home she provides.

Her weaknesses: Remember that when she says she’s not going to work, she means it. Career-minded men could be happy with an arrangement that allows them to focus on their work while she manages his domestic life. But if the financial stress builds, you may not be able to convince her to get a job.

consider: cameos for both Cassian & Jyn in the Han Solo movie, wherein they narrowly miss meeting each other

Boyf riends Hcs

(came up with these with a friend)

Michael has made like 8 different mix tapes for Jeremy even before they start dating, but he kept them hidden. The moment they start going out he’s like: “YES now I can finally show him these!!!”. Except for the angsty ones.

They go on a date to an amusement park but Jeremy has a delicate stomach so they have to take 40 minute breaks in between each ride.

They go to garage sales together looking for cool vintage stuff and they try to take the rest of the gang with them one time but none of the rest of them really got the appeal.

They try to make really intricate cosplays together but when they actually get to the convention their weapons get confiscated.

When they were first learning to roller skate they had to hold hands for Jeremy to keep steady.

Michael attended Jeremy’s Bar Mitzvah (obviously).

Made weed brownies together once. It was before Michael was really experienced and they had too much and Jeremy called his dad crying.

Jeremy took Spanish solely because he knew Michael could help him.

Jeremy tries to find songs Michael would like to show him, but Michael has already heard all of them because he eats lives and breathes music

The Other Side of the Bar

Summary: Bartender!Dean AU where he has a bet with you each night to see who can keep a straight face the longest. In Sam’s words, “This was the weirdest damn flirting he’d ever seen.”

Word Count: 2351

Warnings: Fluff!

A/N: I have this headcanon that if it wasn’t for Azazel and the hunting life, Dean would be the happiest guy out there. He would just be loving life and laughing around and basically be a force of nature that always gets what he wants. He would be unstoppable and would be so damn happy. So that’s the version of Dean that I imagined for this AU.

Version en Español: El Otro Lado de la Barro

“Sam, my man!” Terrance bellowed when Sam walked into the bar. Upon seeing his old friend, Sam broke into a smile and gripped his hand, pulling him in for hug. “Our boy Dean didn’t tell me you were in town.”

“Well, finals are finally over and Dean’s been after me about checking out his new bar since he opened it.” Sam glanced around the dimly lit room and couldn’t help but feel impressed. “So I thought I’d surprise him.”

For someone who hadn’t set foot in a college classroom, Dean was actually a pretty good businessman. This was the third bar that he’d opened in Eastern Kansas, and every bar that he owned was doing ridiculously well. When Dean asked Sam to take a look at his finances and make sure that everything looked good, Sam started rethinking his own life plan. If Dean was making that much per bar, then what in the world was Sam thinking, digging himself deeper into debt to get a law degree?

Speaking of Dean, Sam glanced around the packed room in search of his sandy-haired brother. As usual, he was behind the bar talking to a chick. But he wasn’t smiling or joking around like he usually did in the company of any living, breathing female.

“What the hell?” Sam asked, drawing Terrance’s attention. “He’s having an actual conversation with her instead of just flirting?”

Café Cram

H2OVanoss Coffee Shop AU because there will never be enough of them. Enjoy!

There were two times that the palpable excitement filled the air of the small campus; the day the college students moved in, and the day they left. It was the blissful moments before the stress of classes began, or the relief that the weight of thesi, assignments, and projects had been lifted off of their shoulders.

Evan Fong had just moved into an apartment right off of campus with his two best friends. It was his senior year, the last year before he received his degree and was sent off without a paddle into the real world. And while it was a terrifying thought, Evan couldn’t wait to really start his life.

His roommate, Tyler, was waiting for him outside of the only café on campus. Café Cram, affectionately known as The Cram, was notorious for their late hours and strong coffee. Students flocked to the small shop for an early morning pick up, or a late night caffeine rush before one of many all nighters they would pull that semester. Evan was a frequent customer, his caffeine addiction solely credited as the only thing that had gotten him through the past three years.

Tyler greeted him warmly, pulling him into a hug and patting his back firmly. “Get everything unpacked?”

Evan nodded as he held the door open for his friend. “Mostly. Just have to organize my clothes.” They stood in the already sizable line of students waiting to order. “The rest of my stuff should be here in a few days.”

“I can’t believe we’re graduating this year.” Tyler shook his head solemnly. “We’re gonna have to get big boy jobs.”

“Lucky for the both of you, I have a big boy job.” A bespectacled man rushed past them, delivering coffee to the tables around the room. When he came back their way, he kissed Tyler and headed back behind the counter.

“Barista is not a big boy job, Craig!” He called after him.

The man glared at his two friends and roommates before returning his attention to the cappuccino he was making.

Behind the register was a new man that Evan had never seen on campus before. The college was small, a private university on the outskirts of Los Angeles with less than two thousand students, so everyone either knew each other, or of each other. He was tall and thin, his face hidden by the brim of his uniform hat as he bowed down over the machine.

warnings: none, just fluff

word count: ~1900

You walked quickly into the shopping mall, your giggling friends surrounding you.  Damn them and their bachelorette party games.

You were a bridesmaid for one of your best friends from college, Katie, who you were really glad hadn’t picked you to be her maid of honor because frankly, you weren’t one to plan a bachelorette party.  She’d chosen one of your other best friends Rachel to take the all-important position, and now you were seriously regretting it.

Imagine…

Dating “bad boy” Gerard in high school

Request: Hey! Could you do a Gerard way imagine in which y/n and him are together and he’s super bad boy stereotype but loves her so much?

Gerard has never been one to look up to.

You knew that your freshman year and you knew that when the red haired boy showed up at your locker sophomore year.

“Hey…do you mind helping me study for the test?”

You and Gerard are in the same chemistry class, despite him being a junior. You don’t really know why he’s in a sophomore class, but you decided not to ask.

“Yeah, I’ll help you.”

You and Gerard studied for about an hour until he suggested that the two of you head home. He offered to drive you and you gladly accepted, not thrilled about the idea of walking home in the rain.

You would love to say that the car ride was full of laughs and smiles and jokes and that you put your hand over his on accident and you just knew that-

It was actually extremely awkward.

You looked out the window, trying to think of a conversation starter. What are you supposed to say to the most terrifying kid in the school?

“Where’s your house?”

You’re really glad that Gerard spoke up before you could utter out something stupid like “how about that game last night?” followed by an awkward conversation about a game that you didn’t watch.

“Just around the corner,” you told him, pointing in the right direction. He drove through your neighborhood and you couldn’t help but glance at him, his eyes slightly narrowed as he concentrated on driving to the right house and his lips pursed as he looks around.

“Which one is it?”

“That one up there.”

That day was your first real interaction with Gerard Way.

The next few weeks, the same thing happened almost every day and you found yourself looking forward to helping Gerard with his homework and Gerard looked forward to driving you home afterwards.

Then, two weeks into the pattern, Gerard showed up at your doorstep on a Saturday afternoon with a rose in his hand and a nervous smile on his face.

“Hi,” he had said, his cheeks growing red.

Never in your life would you have though you would see Gerard Way blush, but miracles do happen.

“I, um…I have a rose for you,” he said, holding his hand out. “I wasn’t really sure how many to get so I went with one. I’ve never…I’ve never done anything like this before.”

Then he asked you out and you responded by nodding, a grin on your face despite your red cheeks.

He took you out to a bar for your first date and when you got there, he held out a fake ID for you to use. He assured you that you wouldn’t be drinking and after a little convincing and a lot of complimenting, you agreed to go in the bar with him.

It was actually a nice place, small with few people scattered around. Gerard found the two of you a small table and pulled your chair out for you, throwing you a cheeky wink as he sat down.

You talked and talked and to this day you don’t know how much time passed before someone announced that it was karaoke night.

You were excited to see people go up and sing, but the last thing you expected was to see Gerard stand up and grab the mic, looking at the DJ, who nodded at him with a small smile.

Then he sang ‘Don’t Stop Believing’ by Journey and you were pleasantly surprised because, damn, the kid can sing.

He walked back to your table with a confident smile on his face and you kept clapping until he sat down.

“Not bad, Way, not bad.”

The first time you saw the side of Gerard that everyone always warned you about was about a month after you and Gerard started dating. The two of you were walking through school when someone told you that a kid named Danny, who had been asking you out since your freshman year, had been spreading rumors that you cheated on Gerard with him.

After explaining to a slightly angry Gerard that the accusations were false (he believed you), he went against your better judgement and went to find Danny.

It was bad.

At first, Gerard just yelled at Danny, then he raised his fist and you knew you couldn’t let it get any farther. After Gerard got one punch in (you figured one wouldn’t hurt), you grabbed his arm and had Frank hold him back while you (calmly) walked over to Danny and stood in front of him.

Then you punched him in the cheek with a smug smile on your face.

“Don’t spread rumors about me, dickhead,” you remember saying something along those lines.

You had walked over to Gerard and he had just grinned at you, pulling you in for a kiss.

“You’re such a badass.”

The first time you thought you might actually have to break up with Gerard was when he met your parents. They hated him.

They didn’t really give you a chance to explain that he was a good guy because they were pretty involved in your school and were friends with a lot of the parents, so they had inevitably heard about Gerard and his reputation.
You were told to break up with him, so you did. At least, you told them you did.

Now you and Gerard would just have to be a bit more careful.

Everything was fine. You snuck out every now and then, but you never broke any major rules.

You came very close to saying something about Gerard in front of your parents a few times, but you always managed to keep it quiet.

Then there was the issue of other girls trying to “get you out of the way” so they could date Gerard.

That actually wasn’t a huge problem.

“Y/N?”

“Yeah, Gee?”

“I love you.”

The first time Gerard told you he loved you was about six months after you two started dating and you almost burst when he said it.

Your breath hitched and you stared at him, opening your mouth to respond.

“You don’t have to say it back if you’re not ready-”

“I love you too.”

He stared at you with wide eyes and a growing smile.

“I love you, Gerard Way.”

This would be your first date with Kai Parker at The Grill. It took a lot for him to ask you and it wasn’t romantic either because he called you on your cell phone.
Kai: “Hey Y/N, do you want to eat food at The Grill?”
Y/N: “Eat food?”
Kai: “Yeah, like, you know. When two people sit down and eat together and talk, you know. And maybe gaze into each others eyes and-”
Y/N: “So a date?”
Kai: “Yes. Yeah that. A date.”
Y/N: “I-I’d love that, pick me up at 6:00.” You hung up from excitement.
Kai: Kai exhaled out of relief. “Feelings are hard.”

Damon and Kai were on their way to meet you at The Grill. Damon only allowed this date to happen if he was there to monitor or what you call, ‘babysit’. He was going to hang out at the bar while you and Kai have dinner at the booth. Damon even invited Alaric along as well. Great.

Damon was always the most protective compared to Stefan. Although Stefan knows of Kai’s wrong doings, he’s always looked at the situation as you’re an adult and you can make your own choices. Kai also doesn’t have a history of harming you either, he’s actually had a thing for you since you first met. It just took him awhile to try anything with you. He wasn’t used to being around a girl he likes. Being a sociopath and all, he had no real friends until you came along and changed that.

Kai couldn’t hold his excitement in, so he voluntarily told Damon about how the phone conversation went. “So yeah, I basically called her up saying ‘let’s go eat food’ and she was confused like what does eating food mean you know and then-”

“If you just as much talk Y/N to death, I’ll rip your throat out.” Damon threatened, cutting him off, because Kai being Kai, he can go on and on. “And no getting handsy either. Keep your distance, twerp.”

“Alright alright.” Kai put his hands up on defense. “Well can I at least check her out from behind?” Damon got annoyed by Kai’s constant babbling, so he snapped his neck, letting him fall to the ground as he kept walking.

Sometimes I laugh at the idea of Eren and Levi going on a typical first date in canon or AUs. Don’t get me wrong, I find it cute whenever they have romantic candlelit dinners or stroll together holding hands in fanfics, but for me, their ideal first date would most likely involve picking bar fights with several random assholes who have the gall to make fun of their relationship, looking all smug and murderous like the bamfs they actually are lol.

Helping Hand (Part 2)

(Namjoon’s embarrassing encounter with you ends up making for an exciting first date.)

Warning: Masturbation, exhibitionism

It was 3:15pm.  Namjoon had left your apartment about 10 minutes earlier.

An hour ago, you had never even considered dating Namjoon.  But right now you were prancing about your apartment like a giddy school girl.  You had been on plenty of dates before, but it had been a long time since you were this excited.  When he told you he liked you, it felt like the first time you had received a boy’s confession – back when you were shocked to find out that any boy liked you, let alone one as cool as Namjoon.

You skipped to your bedroom to start thinking about what you would wear tonight.  You had less than four hours to make yourself beautiful, might as well use every minute.  As you scoured your closet to find just the right look, you heard a phone ringing in the living room.  You looked at your bedside table to see your own phone sitting there silently.

You followed the sound to find Namjoon’s phone, half hidden behind a sofa cushion.  You noticed a missed call from someone called Boss-nim.  Figuring it could be an important work call, you headed over to return the phone to as quickly as possible.  As you approached, you saw Jin coming out of the apartment and closing the door quickly behind him.  You called out to get Jin’s attention.

anonymous asked:

please do a gif set of when Amy holds Sheldon's hand in The Alien Parasite Hypothesis and now in the new episode where they they go to the bed room 😍

So, this was such an enlightening request, not so much for the gifset itself (which turned out great btw) but, it made me revisit The Alien Parasite Hypothesis. Season 4 Shamy.
I didn’t realize this 6 years ago (already been SIX YEARS, God it’s been too long), maybe ‘cause I was still a casual viewer then, maybe ‘cause none of us really knew where they were going with Sheldon and Amy, if they were going anywhere with them. But I just realized (6 years later, lemme repeat that), this was such a pivotal episode for them.
This is the first time they see each other as potential “mates”, at least from Amy. Let me show you what I mean.

Contrary to what we got for most of this show, I think Sheldon was way more into Amy than Amy was into him, at least at the beginning.

I feel like at first Amy took it as ‘this is just me pleasing my mother by going out with some guy’, and it’s especially clear to me by how much more affected Sheldon seems to be about Amy ‘leaving’ him than she is.

Getting a bunch of cats to replace her?

The same thing Leonard suggests after Penny rejects him in the very 1st season of the show?

Oh boy, someone’s getting soft.

Anyway, my point is, Amy, up until the point she broke off her shell, if that’s what you wanna call it, was pretty reserved about her feelings for Sheldon.
We had the whole “boy slash friend” thing going on but I think she didn’t really think of actually dating Sheldon.
Until this episode happened.
It starts off with her getting all hot and bothered by Zack’s bottom.

Which, by the way, isn’t it great that it’s now canon that Amy’s a butt person? LOL.

She rejects it at first, in typical “female Sheldon” fashion but eventually accepts it, and right where you’d think Sheldon would stop being interested in her because of her expressing sexual desire for another human being, he helps her.

He calls Zack, sets up a date, gOES WITH HER?!

Now, I do 100% believe Sheldon already had feelings for Amy (see cat talk a few paragraphs above) but I don’t think he realizes what this means until Amy walks over to Zack and leaves him alone.

It’s such a small moment and gets interrupted by his disgust that his hand’s been stamped, but I think that it’s actually very meaningful, he’s saying goodbye, not to her, but the idea of ever dating her.

Thankfully Amy realizes that she prioritizes someone’s intellect more than their looks, and decides to ‘reject’ Zack, so to speak.

Sheldon is definitely relieved.

Once they leave the bar, Amy seems to finally realize what we’ve all seen the second they met. Maybe Sheldon could be a potential mate. If she prioritizes intellect over looks (not saying that Sheldon’s unattractive, just that it wasn’t an instant “hoo” moment when they met for the first time), and Sheldon being one of, and possibly THE smartest person she knows, then, it makes sense that she would think about “experimenting” and seeing if she really does feel anything for him.

One of my favorite parts about this scene, and I’m sure, yours as well, is that Sheldon’s first instinct is not to grimace and pull away (which would be 100% in character for the Sheldon that we knew then) but rather, his first reaction is to hold her hand back.

By the end of the scene we get that she didn’t feel anything, but still, this marks the first time Amy truly thought of Sheldon as more than just a boy who is her friend.

MASTERLIST

“If I tell you a joke and you laugh, you have to go on a date with me.”

That was the deal. Simple right? Except you had another bet with Sam that you had to ask Bucky out first or pay 10 dollars to him.

You nod. Keeping your face shouldn’t be a difficult task, as you were a SHIELD agent. Boy, how wrong you were.

Bucky smiles. “Two whales walk into a bar. The first one says ‘Eoooooooooooohaaaaahhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuaaaaaooooaaaaaaauuuuuu.’”

Bucky’s face while doing the whale sounds was so adorable you could actually smile right then. But you had a bet. Besides, you were stronger than that with your facial expressions. Right? Or so you thought.

“The second whale turns to the first and says, “Frank, what is wrong with you?’”

You tried, you actually did.

But the laughter came out of your mouth without permission.

Bucky smiled, his eyes shone. He seemed so happy.

You even forgot why you couldn’t say yes to a date with Bucky first.

“OH MY GOD. Did you really just smile?”

“In my defence, that was the worst joke I’ve ever heard.”

“You laughed. Not even smiled, I should get a double date because of that,” Bucky licked his lips.

You arched an eyebrow. “If you behave, perhaps even more.”

This Morning On...

[Beach side cafe with Robert and Aaron having breakfast]

AARON: *munches on toast* - for the fans. Robert! Will you put your phone away! I’m eating bread products here and you’re not even enjoying it.

ROBERT: Have you see this though? *scrolls through articles on phone* The Plot is seriously out to get me. Can we just not go back? I really don’t want to go back!

AARON: Yeah I read it. I mean most of it was redacted for the protection of my plot!brain but the gist of it is the same old, same old. We’ll be together forever no matter what the plot throws at us. Nothing new there.

ROBERT: But what if the plot in between our amazing make up sex turns people off?! What if they leave?

AARON: There will always be something to pull them back in. Did you see we’re gonna get a second wedding? *FAN BAITING ALERT*

ROBERT: Hey, maybe it’ll actually be legal this time. *FAN BITTERNESS ALERT*

AARON: And, there was something in there about a candle lit dinner at the Grange. *FAN BAITING ALERT* I mean, not my top choice of venue, still trying to get you back to Bar West, but we’ve never actually been on a date. I think it’ll be nice.

ROBERT: Suppose…

AARON: Besides, a bunch of the fans don’t really care about the Plot. They’ll love us no matter what, even if it is out of spite to our creators.

ROBERT: Are you sure?

AARON: Well, first, you need to stop reading Metro. Try ao3! We do a lot better over there. Maybe…just skip past all of the break up fics though.

- 3 hours later -

AARON: Robert! Come on! I’ve eaten like seventy-five pieces of toast while you’ve been sitting there staring at your phone. Let’s go do something! I’m bored…and really full. This contractually obligated to eat in every scene thing is really starting to affect me. (DANNY: I’m gonna need to go call Simon for some tips)

ROBERT: Sorry! Just one more chapter! I actually have consistent character development in this! Do you have any idea what this means to me?

AARON: I do. I actually get to go to therapy in those. It’s nice to be more well adjusted and healthy, even if I’ll always struggle. In any case, I know you’ll always be there for me.

ROBERT: Always. I got therapy in one of these too. Wow! I have a lot of unresolved issues that the Plot will never let me deal with.

AARON: So…can we go now?

ROBERT: Two more sentences…okay…let me just see if the next chapter is…what?! It’s not done? *furiously typing* Love this! Please update soon! Right, we can go now.

AARON: Back to bed?

ROBERT: Definitely. I read some things in here I want to try!

Second dates

Pairing: Sam Wilson x Reader

Warnings: Smut, a bit of swearing, UNPROTECTED SEX. Wrap it before you tap it, let’s not overpopulate this already overpopulated world, especially now that it sucks.

Sam Wilson x Reader? Maybe Sam knew that she was in the Marines and needed a person to rely on after coming home, only to fall in love with her and having to find the courage to ask her out on a date, and when they get home, they show each other how much they truly love each other (If you know what I mean.)

And there you were at the airport, holding a sign with Sam Wilson’s name. You hadn’t seen him in over a year and yet he asked you to pick him at the airport take him home. You stood on your tippy toes to get a better look from the hundreds of people arriving at the JFK airport until you saw a familiar face. You shouted his name and held the sign up high.

He hadn’t changed much, only gotten even more gorgeous than what you remember. If the few times you saw him, he was already hot, now he looked like a man. All built up, with a stubble, his sunglasses. Oh, lord, you had to mentally fan yourself.

He ran with his bag to meet you, smiling tiredly from the terribly long flight. He wrapped his huge arms around your torso, and you held on to his broad shoulders; he even lifted you from the ground, nobody around you would’ve thought that you were friends. Once in the car you two caught up on your lives since you hadn’t seen each other. You left the army about a year before him and since then you’d moved on with your life, trying to be as normal as you could with the PSTD. He was damn ready to do the same thing.

“Where to, Sammy?” you asked while getting out of the airport’s humongous parking lot.

“Same ol’ Harlem,” he said absentmindedly, “you still there?”

“Home is home, Wilson.” You shrugged.

@urisistable :  I just saw this ^^^ pic and thought *sigh* that’s so the look he’d give you right before he’d ask if he could kiss you for the first time. Do you care to elaborate? 💕

I really hope you like this, I don’t think it’s that good, but here is your prompt anyway  💕💕

You tug and pull at your outfit for your date tonight, only Brendon would leave you with the instruction “I’ll only be wearing a t-shirt and jeans, so work with that,” When he asked you out, two days ago. You met Brendon about 6 months ago, when your best friend started shooting photo’s for his band on tour and you caught a huge crush on him instantly, so when he asked you out you couldn’t hide from the butterflies that invaded your stomach and haven’t left ever since.

After forever deliberating on your outfit you finally picked a cute maroon sweater, ripped black skinny jeans and a pair of black boots, you decided against your better judgement and put on a cute, red pair of matching bra and panties, not that you were planning to show them off. You decide on leaving your hair in loose waves around your shoulders, your makeup simple, but you couldn’t miss out your favourite winged eyeliner. Finally relatively happy with your look, you sat down on your couch, it was 6.55, at least you managed to be ready on time, you flipped through your phone for 5 minutes before right on the spot at 7pm, the front door knocked. Sure enough, you open the door to see that familiar, full lipped smile, you try to stop yourself from staring, but jesus he looks so good, black, ripped skinny jeans, a black, loose fitting tshirt and black leather jacket, hair perfect as usual with that one little strand that always seems to fall out of place.

“You look really cute,” He beams, stepping forward to kiss your cheek gently, smiling when he sees the blush that’s crept up to your cheeks, “Hey do you have a jacket? You might need one, it’ll be a tiny bit cold where we’re going.”

“Cold? Brendon we’re in LA.” You raise an eyebrow, how could he possibly find somewhere cold, it’s not cold out but it’s not hot either, just nice.

“Trust me, just grab a jacket and you’ll find out, it’s not that warm out anyway.” With a playful little wink he stands at the door while you grab a jacket and takes your hand when you get back, pulling you out to his car, “Ok, I hope you’re not expecting anything too fancy, I just thought it would be nice to have some fun, not sit in some stuffy restaurant or bar.”

“Aww Brendon,” You coo a little, because jeeze is he so cute, “That sounds perfect actually, I’m not exactly the fancy kind of girl.” He visibly relaxes when you say, starting the car, you don’t drive for long and the car ride is full of the usual awkward small talk the encompasses the first 20 minutes of a date, getting settled and asking about each other’s day and the obligatory speak of the weather. When you finally pull up to the place you don’t at first realise what it is you’re doing, he links arms with you and leads you through and at your first impression, it looks like some kind of indoor carnival, or winter wonderland of some sort, that’s when you notice it IS considerably colder in here than it is outside.

“Brendon what is this place?” You say with a giggle and he smiles widely, pulling you further into the building, finally he seems to spot his goal, tugging you in the direction of a huge, rectangle space, then it dawns on you. As you get closer you can see people moving around, and giggles and laughs, some people falling out. “Ice skating?!” You squeal, you’ve never really done it before but hey could be fun, he nods and pulls you to the little booth to buy tickets, when you reach into your pocket to grab some money he stops you.

“No, no it’s on me.” He smiles sincerely but you shake your head again, you don’t want him to think you’re like every other girl he’s probably been with, just interested in his pocket.

“Brendon, I can pay for myself, I can afford it, I don’t want you to think that-”

“It’s fine, I know you can pay for yourself, but I asked you on a date, so I’m gonna pay for it, you can pay for one that you ask me on,” He winks playfully and pays for you both, you’re given a number so you know when to leave the ice. He gets the right sized skates and finding a place to sit down and put them on, he very kindly crouches down in front of you to get yours laced up, sitting next to you and lacing his up too. Brendon helps you stand, and you can only assume that you’re easily compared to a baby deer trying to walk, stumbling and relying heavily on him to get over to the ice, which he steps onto first, offering out a hand to you, holding both of your hands out in front of him.

The first 10 minutes solid are filled with you trying to get stable on the ice, hysterically giggling as you cling onto Brendon, both of you starting to laugh as he manages to provide enough balance for the two of you, smiling when you squeal and wobble and wrap your arms around him.

“Oh my GOD! Brendon don’t let go!” You giggle and squeal, secretly loving that you get to be this close to him, your arms are practically glued around your waist, it’s only a minor thought that this choice of date might well have been intentional to get you this close.

“I’ve got you don’t worry,” He reassures you, scooping an arm around your waist to hold you up, holding you close to him as you finally start to find your feet and steady out, you’ve never been this close to him before and this kind of intimacy is nice, it’s fun and giggly. After the first 15 or so minutes, you’re gliding around the ice with Brendon, now only tangling your fingers in with his and giggling playfully, still a little wobbly legged, starting to get more comfortable.

Brendon playfully skates little rings around you, taking your hand and spinning you and smiling when you squeal and make grabby hands at him to keep you steady, with a loud yelp you slip a little, but he rushes forward to catch you, both arms slipping around you to keep you steady. When you look up, your faces are only a couple of inches apart, a warm, playful little smile on his face, just as he goes to lean in you hear the speaker calling out that it’s your number’s turn to leave the ice, Brendon straightens up and smiles a little awkwardly.

“Umm, we should get to the side,” He stammers a little nervously, gently helping you upright and helping you move over to the side, guiding you over to sit down and get your skate off, both of you smiling widely, if a little flustered by nearly kissing. He’s the perfect gentleman again, helping you get the skates off and taking them back over to the little booth, when he comes back you’ve just about managed to get your shoes back on, he offers out a hand to help you up.

“Jesus, your hands are freezing, how about we go to get a hot drink and something to eat?” He smiles and pulls you against him, wrapping an arm around your shoulder as you walk.

“I am pretty hungry, food and a drink wouldn’t be a bad idea,” You smile back and both wander around a little, settling on a really cute little cafe type place that sells waffles and pancakes and hot chocolate, you know it’s a pretty cheesy little date as he pulls your chair out for you, but you sit there eating waffles and giggling and drinking your hot chocolate, his arm leant across the table, gently stroking his fingers over yours as you talk. What gets you the most flustered is how intently he listens, asking all these questions about you and sitting quietly, just tracing patterns on your palm as he listens to the responses, a wide smile on his face and eyes fixed on yours. You sit there for at least another hour and a half, chatting and giggling in your own little world.

He tells you about himself, how he grew up mormon, telling you stories about sneaking off to hardcore gigs at 16 and having a change of clothes in his car to hide it all from his parents, that the band took off when he was around 18 and that he struggled with his ADHD and anxiety for a while after. He tells you hilarious stories about the bands’ antics backstage, about how his latest album was a huge success and the latest your he went on was crazy successful.

“You’ve lead a much more colourful life than me,” You chuckle a little, brushing your hair out of your face, he smiles sweetly and squeezes your hand.

“I’ve been lucky, yeah it’s been amazing, but hey, you could always come and have some fun with us, there’s always space on our tour bus for one more.” He grins and you feel your cheeks flushing red at an alarming rate, giggling a little as his fingers keep tracing patterns on your hand.

“Really?” You duck your head a little and see him grinning out of the corner of your eye.

“Yeah, I mean it, you’re really fun to be around Y/N, and I haven’t had this much fun in a long time.” He smiles again, glancing down at his watch. “Oh fuck, it’s almost midnight, I should get you home.” It disheartens you a little but you know it is true, he pays the bill for the food and the hot chocolate and stands, slipping his leather jacket on and offering a hand out to you, helping you put your jacket back on. You walk hand in hand out through the little winter wonderland, giggling and continuing on your intimate little conversation, walking back out to the parking lot and climbing back in his car. With the conversation flowing so easily, it doesn’t stop in the car, and you’re still talking when you finally pull up outside your house, turning of the ignition and turning to face you.

“Can I would you to your door?” He asks sweetly, the smile on his face is almost too cute to bare and definitely too cute to refuse.

“I’d love that,” You smile straight back, climbing out of the car and walking over to Brendon’s side, he waits for you there and tangles his fingers with yours as he walks you up the path to your door, once you get the door unlocked and open you stand in the doorway and turn to face him, “I mean I’d ask you in but…”

“I’d love to, really I would, but I have to get to an interview super early tomorrow,” He rubs the back of his neck, looking so torn between coming in and going home, “I’m sorry, I feel like I’ve ruined it now.”

“Ruined? Oh god no, Brendon I understand, I had a really nice time tonight,” You reach out for his hand and step down off of the doorstep so you’re in front of him, letting go of his hand to toy with the hem of your sweater a little, “I really enjoyed tonight.”

“I did too,” He trails off a little, his lips pulling into a smile as he steps a little closer, hands clasped in front of him, there’s something on his mind.

“What is it B?” You ask softly and he takes a little breath, you can see him fiddling with his own hands.

“Sorry if it’s too forward, but, can I kiss you? I’ve been wanting to all night, but I didn’t want you to think I’m some massive jerk.” He smiles again, the smile reaching his gorgeous brown eyes.

“Of course you can…” You trail off and the smile on his face widens, his hands reach forward to take yours and he tugs you closer, leaning down and pressing a soft, gentle little kiss to your lips, your stomach does total somersaults as his hands slip onto your waist, pulling you against him, your rest yours on his chest. It doesn’t last long, your lips move a little and you let out a tiny little whimper before he pulls back, at least it makes you feel better when you see he’s a little breathless and flustered too.

“I’ll, uhh, I’ll speak to you tomorrow, after my interview, but, you do want to go out again right?” He asks a little nervous and you giggle in response, tugging on his jacket, pulling him down to kiss him one last time, just a quick little peck on the lips.

“I’d love to Brendon.” You smile and say your goodbyes, unable to stop yourselves giving each other one last little peck on the lips before he says one last goodbye, turning on his heel to get back in his car, you can’t help but stand and stare dreamily after him as he drives away.

Brendon Urie. You just had an amazing date and KISSED Brendon fucking Urie.

He stood outside Scoops, waiting for the rest of the boys to finish up inside before they were off on business. On any other day, he probably would’ve never noticed her as she passed. That wasn’t to say that when he did see her he didn’t think she was downright gorgeous. The only reason why she piqued his interest was the mountain of thick texts she had bundled in her arms, covering her main course of eyesight. He fought the smirk that built within him when he spotted her light eyes peeking around the heavy pile. She blew her bangs out of her eyes with a huff but that didn’t deter her. She continued forward, and as she neared him he heard the incessant muttering. She was guiding herself forward, hoping that she didn’t bump into anyone or anything. He took one small step into her line of pursuit and waited. It didn’t take long. Within a minute she’d walked straight into him, her gaze focussed on her destination and not where she was walking. She stumbled forward, all the books flying into the air and crashing into the ground. He watched with amusement, standing still as she fumbled around.

...And in a “blink” of an eye, I had a 1k per meet. 3-4x a month.

The funny thing was, I was pretty apprehensive about going out with BLINK tonight. He’s a doctor at a hospital but texting prior to this, I didn’t know if an arrangement was something he was looking for. I thought he wanted more of a relationship. Even during the beginning of dinner I really wasn’t into this guy. He took me to a really casual restaurant called the Yard House. So off beat than my usual 4/5 star restaurants for a first meet.  Good looking, but his personality was like, “what?” I had to face check myself and make sure my facial expressions came across as SUPER interested. (We’ve all done this lmao)
By the end of the night I was laughing and opening up, especially when I thought I heard 1k per meet and our next date is this arcade bar. Um, OKAY! :D He’s really sweet and we actually do get along quite well.

The name Blink comes from a book he was talking about, it’s about first impressions not only on people but on art or whatever you can see with the eyes and how to depict it.

Moral of the story : Don’t knock it till you try it and TRY, TRY AGAIN.

I’ve been on Seeking Arrangement since September of 2016. Slowly but surely my allowances have increased. I’m getting better at this. So far I’ll have about 3-4 daddies going lol which I think I’m going to stop. It’s hard enough work as it is scheduling them.

Don’t give up hope. I keep hearing a saying going around on Tumblr “10k allowances are possible!” Now, I’m starting to believe it.

Hope this helps.
