action shot

One thing about the way our warband fights is that, we’re often not near eachother in a line fight. Instead, as a warband of pikes and halberds, we’ll disperse and attack where we’re needed, as well as absolutely wrecking and breaking our opposing wall. I guess here I was defending the back of our line ensuring we didn’t get flanked.

I’ll also tell you that a huge part of me wanted to photoshop my derp face in this photo, but the last thing I want to be is fake. So this is me, derp face and all, defending the backs of some of my best mates in the whole world.

Photo credit and a huge thanks to @theprohobby for this shot.

My favourite part about LARP will always be the live action. When I’m in that moment of battle, I can’t even explain the freedom it gives me. This battle game is where my LARP life started, 3 years ago, and it’s probably what I will always enjoy the most about this crazy, amazing hobby.
