“It’s not work, it is more of a passion. It is so much fun and it is really makes you feel great at the end of the day. “People do judge you, and there are stupid rivalries. You have to wear the right things, because there are all these girls my age competing for the same roles. They’re judging me and I’m judging them. I try not to be that way, but sometimes I am.”
I gave up my struggle with perfection a long time ago. That is a concept I don’t find very interesting anymore. Everyone just wants to look good in the photographs. I think that is where some of the pressure comes from. Be happy. Be yourself, the day is about a lot more.
“There are very stereotypical roles out there for women but I think it is starting to change with things like Girls and SNL as women are such a huge part of that force. I think there’s so many of us that we need to make a change and push for more interesting female roles.”
“ My plan B has always been Psychology. I’m fascinated at observing human nature and body language, and I think it kind of correlates with what an actor does in that respect. So if my career dries up, I reckon that will be my next conquest.”
