Recept skapat av MACACOS Superfood Kitchen

2 msk MACACOS açaípulver
15 dadlar
1 msk kokosolja
2 msk jordnötssmör
2 msk kokos eller mandelmjöl

1. Kärna ur dadlarna. Blanda ingredienserna ovan i en matberedare tills smeten blir jämn.

Take Your Health To The Next Level! 9-3-13

If you are looking to take your health to the next level juicing is the way to go! There are endless benefits to juicing but the main advantage is how quickly the nutrients from the juice enter our blood stream. Smoothies are an excellent option as well but if you are looking for that quick delivery of a nutritional punch, juicing is the way to go. The juicer strips the fiber and just delivers the juice and as a result the body does not have to digest the fiber first in order to get to the nutritional advantages of the vitamins and minerals. Again, smoothies are an excellent way to get those fruits and veggies in and give your body healthy fiber, but juicing is a better way for quick absorption!!

The above recipe is prepared by juicing all the veggies. Transfer the juice to a blender. Add all the powder supplements and ice then blend for the perfect start to your day!!

Check this out!!! The above juice is loaded with benefits form water content to beneficial organ detoxifiers.  ROMAINE: Did you know Romaine has 7.7g of plant protein per head?! It is also loaded with vitamin C, and B vitamins. It is also a excellent serving of Vitamin A (as beta- carotene) and K. Some other surprises is Romaines Omega 3 and calcium levels. One head of Romaine and you will get more calcium then a glass of milk! Cucumber: Cucumber is an excellent source of silica, which is known to help promote joint health by strengthening the connective tissues. They are also rich in vitamin A, B1, B6, C & D, Folate, Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium. When mixed with carrot juice, they can relieve gout and arthritis pain by lowering the uric acid levels. Add some carrots, apple, cucumber, and beets and you have yourself and an awesome juice for health! Dandelions: Diuretic properties of dandelion greens make them useful for promoting urine production and reducing symptoms of some liver, gallbladder and kidney conditions. If you are looking for an excellent detoxifier, these are the pick! Loaded with antioxidants and cancer fighting agents. They are an amazing leafy green which are abundant in vitamins and minerals. A must in your green juice! Kale: Why add Kale? The reasons are endless. This leafy green is loaded with vitamins A,C, and K. Vitamin K can reduce the overall risk of developing or dying from cancer. Kale is also a good source of minerals copper, potassium, iron, manganese, and phosphorus. FYI: Kale is definitely a powerhouse of nutrients. Just remember like all good things too much of anything can cause an issue. Kale contains oxalates, naturally occurring substances which can interfere with the bodies ability to absorb calcium. Avoid eating calcium-rich foods like dairy at the same time as kale to prevent any problems. Spinach: Loaded with vitamins A,K,D & E and a ton of minerals. Spinach also contains a ton of different flavonoids that function as anti-inflammatory & cancer fighting agents. We have very high acidic diets here in the US so spinach is excellent for alkalizing the body. This is very important as high acid diets are the cause for lack of energy, obesity and a host of other health concerns. Lemon: Excellent liver detoxifier as it is a dissolvent of uric acid and other toxins in the liver. Lemons increase peristalsis in the bowels ~ basically gets ‘things’ moving :). According to The Reams Biological Ionization Theory (RBTI),[strong style=”color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;”] the lemon is the ONLY food in the world that is anionic (an ion with a negative charge). All other foods are cationic (the ion has a positive charge.) This makes it extremely useful to health as it is the interaction between anions and cations that ultimately provides all cell energy. Lime: In addition to vitamin-C, lime contains special compounds called Flavonoids (Limonoids such as Limonin Glucoside) which have antioxidant, anti-carcinogenic, antibiotic and detoxifying properties that stimulate the healing process of peptic and oral ulcers.Limes are great for anti-aging, digestion, arthritis, skin care and endless other benefits! Ginger: Excellent for gastrointestinal relief, nausea, very potent anti-inflammatory compounds called gingerols. These gingerols may also be connected to preventing colorectal cancer.  Ginger extracts have been shown to have both antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects on cells. Studies showed that exposure to ginger extracts actually killed ovarian cancer cells. Acai: (A-say-i) Loaded with antioxidants, monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Acai berries possess micronutrients such as resveratrol, polyphenols, and flavanoids as well as essential amino acids. All of these aid in heart health, anti-aging, improving immunity, and can aid in weight loss if nutrition is tight and clean! Maca: A super food rich in vitamins and minerals that all help to boost energy and regulate hormones. Maca stimulates and nourishes the hypothalamus and pituitary glands which are the “master glands” of the body. These glands actually regulate the other glands, so when in balance they can bring balance to the adrenal, thyroid, pancreas, ovarian and testicular glands. Maca works as an adaptogen which means that it responds to different bodies’ needs individually. If you’re producing too much of a particular hormone, maca will regulate the production downward. However, if you’re producing too little, it’ll regulate the production upward. Maqui: Maqui is a superfood, deep purple berry wild harvested in South America. The harsh climate of the Patagonian region in Chile is credited with increasing the anthocyanin level of fruits and berries grown in that area. It’s considered to be the highest antioxidant fruit on the planet! The Mapuche Indians have used maqui berry leaves, stems, fruits and wine medicinally for thousands of years. Maqui berries has been traditionally used by the Mapache Indians for sore throat, diarrhea, ulcers, haemorrhoids, birth-delivery, fever, tumours and other ailments. It is a delicious addition to any juice or smoothie. Spirulina:This superfood has endless benefits. Found in the sea (algae) this is a must add to all juices and or smoothies. With endless anti-aging compounds, eye health, cardiovascular health, cellular health, immune health and on and on!! Extremely high in Chlorophyll, which helps remove toxins from the blood and boost the immune system. Excellent source of vitamins and minerals, including (according to Wikipedia): “Spirulina contains vitamins B-1(thiamine), B-2 (riboflavin), B-3(nicotinamide), B-6 (pyridoxine), B-9 (folic acid), vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin A and vitamin E. It is also a source of potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium,  manganese, phosphorus,  selenium, sodium and zinc. Spirulina contains many pigments which may be beneficial and bioavailable”  I use every morning in my juice!!   Want to know more about your true health?
