abby and chad

  • Nigel: We have to stop the G:KND.
  • Chad: How?
  • Nigel: I have a plan.
  • Chad: You've got a plan? Okay, first of all, you're copying me from when I said I had a plan.
  • Nigel: I'm not copying you, I have a plan—that's not that unique of a thing to say!
  • Chad: And secondly, I don't think you even have a plan.
  • Nigel: I have… part of a plan.
  • Abby: What percentage of a plan do you have?
  • Nigel: I dunno… Twelve percent?

This is Zenaib. She lives in Kassira, a village in Chad. Here she is carrying home food from Oxfam’s food distribution. Zenaib says: ‘I’m very happy to have food. Yesterday I was thinking about what I can do to feed my children, but today is different’.
