abandoned laboratory

Child/teen Lance is one of my favorite tropes, so I was really happy to get a prompt like this. In fact, there was so much that I’m going to have to split this into two or three parts. Enjoy! (Also, I’m going to try to have most Spanish dialogue described, not spoken, so I don’t mess up as much. Please correct me on any mistakes!)

(Part 1- You’re here!) (Part 2)

The mission had begun without a hitch. Lance and Keith were to fly down and inspect the seemingly empty planet; the radar had shown that there were rare alloys used for repair found in the caves beneath the surface. They had flown in cautiously and gone exploring among the jungle-esque environment.

“There’s probably not even anything here,” Lance complained as the duo forced their way through the thick foliage. “We should have just gotten the metal or whatever and booked it. I must have gotten at least three types of bug bites since we landed, and I-”

“Shut up,” Keith snapped. “We still don’t know if it’s empty, so I’d really appreciate some peace and quiet until we’re in the clear.”

“That’s my point, mullet, I’m absolutely certain that there’s-”

Abandoned pathology laboratory found in Russia

Police in Russia are investigating an abandoned pathology lab where mummified remains of babies have been discovered by shocked locals.

Officers have launched a probe into the grisly discovery of body parts, including bones and human organs left scattered around the run-down facility in Tobolsk, western Siberia.

Scars were visible on many of the bodies of the babies, showing where surgical procedures had been carried out, some as recently as three years ago, according to the Siberian Times.

The horrifying and macabre discovery was made by medical student Georgy Grigorchuk from Tobolsk, who had been walking in a park frequented by children when he saw a building with an open door.

Entering the facility, he saw jars containing remains, used slides from blood tests, and skulls lying on dusty shelves, it was reported.

Plastic jars had dates written on the side, including January 2012.

‘I learned about this place from other students of my medical college,’ he said.

'I heard that in this laboratory were a lot of abandoned interesting things.

'Namely, some books lying around, organs in glass jars, all sorts of documents. It was very interesting for a medical student.’

god I want so much of these...how about 17 or 7 KakaYama? whichever strikes you better

He feels it for the first time with Kakashi hovering above him, Chidori a shrill screech in his ears. The lightning casts shifting shadows over the abandoned laboratory he had hoped never to enter again, and Kinoe closes his eyes even though he shouldn’t. He’s resigned to this, to everything—the Foundation is all he knows, and he won’t-can’t betray it.

The flicker of painful desperation that races through him is not his own.

Behind the mask, Kinoe’s eyes fly open, and it takes all of his many years of training not to jerk, not to give it away. Hard enough to bury the surprise even as it rises, to push it down before it’s fully formed and could be felt across a bond. Not point in risking things, Danzō always says, but this—

This isn’t just a theory anymore, and Kinoe is so stunned by the realization that he doesn’t even put up a fight as Kakashi drags him to his knees and ties his hands behind his back.

“I hear Foundation agents are able to completely suppress their emotions,” he says, even as his hand shoves Kinoe lightly forward.

Kinoe’s heart falters, falls out of rhythm in a way it hasn’t in years. He takes a breath, keeps his head bowed, and answers, “Not just our emotions. Shinobi of the Foundation have no name, no past or future, no soulmate. We exist only for our mission.”

He doesn’t let himself feel anything, because if Kakashi feels it too—

(Deep down, buried under so many layers of darkness and orders and we are not Konoha shinobi, we are of the Foundation, something inside him does not belong to Kinoe. At the very core of him is one small seed, curled up and waiting for the light, and despite all Danzō has done to drive it out of him that seed still calls itself Tenzō.)

After the snakes, after the fight, after Kinoe saves the life of the man he’s supposed to kill, as he’s hovering over Kakashi’s unconscious body with a kunai drawn, he just—stops. Maybe it’s that seed. Maybe it’s the memory of Kakashi cutting his hands free and telling him If you don’t want to die, then be grateful you’re alive. Maybe it’s the fact that Kakashi never stopped calling him a friend, even as Kinoe tried so hard to kill him.

Maybe, just maybe, it’s the fact that he can tell from here that Kakashi is having a nightmare, even though his expression hasn’t changed. The fear flickers through him the same way as Kakashi’s lightning, just other enough that Kinoe is certain it isn’t his own, and he can feel Kakashi’s regret crest like a wave.

I couldn’t protect her, Kakashi said, and Kinoe wonders if he’s dreaming of Nohara Rin right now.

Shinobi of the Foundation have no name, no past or future, no soulmate. We exist only for our mission.

That’s been all he’s known since he was a child. He can’t disobey orders. Danzō wants Kakashi’s eye to replace his own, and Kinoe is to bring it to him, and kill Kakashi to hide the evidence.

Fear spikes into awful, wrenching terror, washed with grief, and Kinoe takes a breath. He sets the kunai down, and for the first time in his life, he lets himself feel.

“It’s all right,” he whispers, reaching out, and without Kakashi’s mask in the way his fingers touch skin so easily. Another pause, and Kinoe—

Tenzō drags his mask up, lets it fall carelessly to the side. He leans in, presses his forehead to Kakashi’s, and somehow he can feel more like this than through a simple press of fingers. More skin, more presence, even the shaky brush of Kakashi’s breath against his cheek. It’s gentle, and it rouses something in Tenzō that he’s never quite felt before. That he’s never let himself feel, but this time instead of pushing it down he embraces it, feeds the emotions through the fledgling bond and into Kakashi’s poison-trapped mind. Comfort, protectiveness, devotion, friendship, and the aching, bittersweet tenderness that Tenzō harbors for this ridiculous, inscrutable shinobi who’s managed to teach him everything worth knowing in the few brief times they’ve met.

My name is Tenzō, he tells himself, and lets his eyes open, stares at Kakashi from so close that his face is pale skin and scar and shaggy white hair. I am—I am a shinobi of Konoha, and I have a soulmate.

It sounds too beautiful to ever be even close to true, but it is.

In that moment, the decision to betray Danzō comes as easily as his next breath.

Only Hope (A Bucky Barnes One Shot)

Fandom: Marvel’s The Avengers

Warning/s: Mentions of death; kinda angsty?

A/N: Hi! So this is my first ever posted Bucky Barnes one shot! Hope ya’ll like it!

Against the one-way looking glass holding you from the outside world are your frequent visitors.

Spearheaded by the in-charge on your recovery are obviously Tony, Banner and Vision, with them are the whole gang, who came to see you for the first time in three years, including your boyfriend Bucky.

The moment the team dispatched in Siberia received the news about Tony finally having the solution to your problem, they immediately halted the operations. With Bucky on the team, they know he needs to be back ASAP and for the rest to see you again & give whatever support Bucky needs for this whole ordeal.

“Buck,” Steve croaked from the back. “just go to her.” He barely managed to whisper.

“What if she– I can’t, Steve.” Bucky look back from Steve to you, watching you singing your favorite song.

“Her brain activity is getting better.” Bruce commented as he fiddles on the hologram diagnosis he has in front of him before looking directly to Bucky. “A push might be needed, Barnes. If we want her to remember us and recover faster.”

“I know what you’re thinking, Sergeant. But what about her?” Vision reasoned as he floated towards the glass wall and looks at you. “She’s dying to know who she really is.”

Bucky looked at the rest of the group before landing his eyes on Tony’s. Tony, of all people, is the one helping the two of you, despite their differences and past. “May I?” Bucky pleaded.

“She needs you more than ever, Frosty.” Tony nodded his head towards the door that’ll give him access to your holding room.

The humanoid mutants of the Zone leave many Stalkers uncomfortable for good reason - they are the formerly human inhabitants of the area that were present during the formation of the C-Consciousness in 2007. While just seven scientists formed the hivemind, their experiments were supported by a huge contingent of civilian and military personnel who were left at the mercy of the noosphere’s effects on their minds and bodies.

Many of these mutants still cling to the memory of their previous lives by wearing familiar clothing and lingering near their former posts. Their mutations and abilities also reflect much of their previous natures.

Spiders and Tea

From this request: I LOVED that Moriarty fic, could you possible make another one? Like she is working with Sherlock, but falls for Moriarty. She tries to stay away from him, but he figures out her love for him so he makes it were she has to confront it and give in.

Moriarty loved spying on Sherlock. It gave him an unlimited high that he was able to ‘pull one over’ on the detective. Sometimes, when he was extremely bored, Moriarty would make it incredibly obvious that he was spying, just to see how long it took the detective to figure it out.

Ever since you’d fallen in with Sherlock, Moriarty had taken to spying on you. You were a peculiar thing, and not just because you were seemingly close to the detective. Moriarty found himself smiling or chuckling to himself whenever you danced around the flat or told a dry joke, trying to lighten the mood at a crime scene. Sherlock rarely expressed any sort of emotion towards you. He merely did his work, sometimes allowing you to contribute your two cents.

“Sherlock,” you asked one day. “Would you tell me about Moriarty?”

“What do you mean?”

“What’s he like?”

“He’s a pest.”

‘Now, Sherlock,’ Moriarty chastised to himself. ‘It’s not nice to call others names.’

“But what’s he like? He must be incredibly smart if he’s the only one who’s ever really been a… challenge for you.”

“His skill set could be seen as impressive if measured the proper way,” Sherlock said.

“And what way is that?”

“Compared to a toddler’s. Or John’s.”

Moriarty sniffed at the insult. He knew he was better, smarter than Sherlock. And he knew that Sherlock knew that, too.

“Why are you wasting brain cells thinking about him?” Sherlock asked, which was the closest thing to a personal question he’d ever asked you (usually, he just deduced everything).

“Is it really a waste to consider and contemplate your enemy?”

“To become an enemy, one needs to be a threat.”

“You don’t see him as one?”

“No more than a spider sees a fly as a threat.”

“What about a spider and another spider?”

Sherlock spared a disdainful glance in your direction.

You shrugged, carrying on. “Well, if you’re a Brown Recluse, he’d be…”

“A Black Widow.”

Was that… adoration in your voice? Could you possibly find Moriarty’s talents and skills awe-inspiring? Was there a hint of kindness in your voice upon baptizing him with that nickname?

‘I need to get to her,’ Moriarty thought to himself. ‘Fully assess the situation.’

You poked your head into the abandoned laboratory. Only a few dim lights were on, bathing the machines, tubes, and vials in shadow. You stepped around the room, studying the chemicals and equipment.

“You’re a brave one, aren’t you?”

You didn’t turn but froze in your spot. Moriarty saw the way you were holding your shoulders as if trying to give off an air of strength and comfort. “What do you mean?”

“Coming to an abandoned place in the middle of the night because an anonymous letter requested your presence,” Moriarty said, taking a step closer. “That’s not something most people would do.”

“I’m not most people.”

“Indeed not.” Moriarty studied you for a moment. “Most people would also turn to face the person who lured them here.”

“As much as I like looking at you, I know who you are, Moriarty.”

This sent a small chill down Moriarty’s spine. “How?”

You finally turned, pegging Moriarty with an intense stare. “I noticed you, or rather, someone spying on Sherlock and I the other day. He’s told me of the times he’s caught you and the battles of wits you’ve had. I assumed you sent the brilliantly worded letter.”

“So you didn’t really know.”

“Call it a hunch.”

“And did you get a hunch as to the reason I called you here?”

Your self-sure attitude wavered at that moment. “I can rarely understand Sherlock on a good day. What makes you think I could understand you?”

‘A hidden compliment,’ Moriarty thought. His heart softened slightly. “You should give yourself more credit. You understand more than you realize when it comes to that buffoon.” Moriarty noticed the light blush cross your cheeks. “Why do you think I’ve asked you here?”

You shook your head once, but your eyes were trailing around the room, down his form, searching for a hint, a clue of any sort. “Well, unless you’ve got a slow-acting aerosol poison or a sniper, I don’t think you brought me here to kill me.”

Moriarty nodded.

“You know I work with Sherlock… but you could just as easily go after him. And you must realize that Sherlock’s attachment to me is barely there, meaning I wouldn’t be a strong enough of a reason to get him out of bed to look for me.”

You took a step forward, peering into Moriarty’s eyes. For once, Moriarty felt vulnerable, as if you could see parts of him that no one had ever seen. Yet he stood his ground, peering down his nose at you.

“It’s almost as if you simply wanted conversation.”

Moriarty’s mouth lifted at one corner. “What can I say? You like me, I’m intrigued by you… Shall we get tea?”

What cracks me up about Hohenheim not meeting Ed and Al again until Ed was 15 is that it’s not like he left the country, he was around the whole time, just never happened to pass them by. And we know Ed and Al were fairly famous, and I’m sure they’d be known in alchemist circles, so just imagine Hohenheim’s listening to the news in a cafe one day and the radio’s all “Edward Elric from Resembool becomes youngest state alchemist ever at age 12!” and Hohenheim’s like

And then over the years he’ll hear more and more snippets of their adventures like “Fullmetal Alchemist deposes fraudulent religious leader in Reole!” “Elric brothers destroy small village, take down entire terrorist ring! Thank you, boys!” “Abandoned 5th government alchemical laboratory destroyed in explosion, Fullmetal Alchemist hospitalized!” and poor Hohenheim, who hasn’t seen them since they were practically toddlers, has this slow dawning realization of “oh my god what are my sons and what do they know”

Kim x Shego, Kim crashes a villians' Christmas party

I liked this prompt a lot :D

Kim groaned as she pulled herself out of bed at the familiar sound of be-be-bedeep. “Wade… it’s 2am the day after Christmas, what could possibly be the sitch?”

“I have intel that several villains are meeting up and may be collaborating on something evil. Drakken, Shego, Dementor, Monkey Fist, DNAmy, and Motor Ed are some of the many in attendance. I don’t know what they’re planning, but you might want to go in for surveillance and then work on dismantling their plan later.”

“It does sound like a big job,” Kim mumbled as she rubbed at her eyes. “Have you already contacted Ron?”

“He can’t make it, he’s in Japan with Yori right now, remember?”

The redhead pulled herself out of bed with a huff and moved over to her closet. “Alright, I’ll be ready in 10minutes.”

“I’ll have your ride waiting for you outside your house.”

“Thanks, Wade.”

She hung up and started to rummage through her clothes. She wanted to wear her mission gear, but it wasn’t suited for this type of weather. She would wear her battle suit, but that was with Wade for modifications. Without thinking too hard about it she pulled on one of her Christmas sweaters and thick pants. She pulled on a thick coat over top and slipped on some warm socks and a pair of boots. Lastly she pulled on some gloves and a hat and headed down the steps and quietly outside.

There was a car waiting out front with its lights out. She climbed into it to find someone she didn’t recognize in the seat.

“Hey, I assume Wade sent you?”

The man nodded. “Yeah, I’m his cousin. I was just getting off work so he told me to drive you somewhere.”

“Oh, thank you very much!” Kim said brightly.

“No problem, he helped me with some computer viruses I had a while back, I’ve owed him one since.”

They drove in silence over there while Kim looked over the specs of the building she would be breaking into. It looked like an old abandoned laboratory.

She waved to Wade’s cousin as he drove off and then she walked around the outskirts of the building. Wade sent her the directions to a large air shaft she should be able to crawl through. Once she found it she used her laser lipstick to break the cover of the vent so she could climb in.

Once she was inside Wade directed her through it.

“I see heat signatures at the north of the building. Go forward ten yards and take a right.”

Kim turned right at the spot.

“Take the first left.”

She did that.

“Go forward about five yards and you should see a vent leading to the room next to the large heat signature.”

Kim found it and hopped down into the room. “Alright Wade, now what?”

“Leave the room and go right and take the first door on the right. You’ll enter in a corner of the room that should be hidden from most people’s line of sight.”

The redhead snuck outside the room, closing the door quietly, before she went into the room next door. She steadied her breathing before creeping in and pressing herself to the wall. So far so good.

Peeking around the corner she saw the villains all congregated in a circle. Kim’s brow furrowed. They must’ve been hunching over the plans.

Something seemed off about it, but she didn’t have time to think about that when she felt something breathing against her neck.

She spun around to find Monkey Fist extremely close. Before Kim could react and escape, he grabbed her and lead her towards the others saying, “Look who came for a visit!”

Everyone turned.

That was when Kim realized they were all wearing some sort of Christmas attire, several Santa hats and reindeer antlers visible in the crowd.

“What’s going on…?” Kim asked in confusion.

Drakken wormed his way through the crowd and said, “Kim Possible…! You’re just in time!”

“In time for what…?” she asked with a furrowed brow.

“For the secret Santa of course! We weren’t sure if you were going to get here in time for it, but here you are! Perfect!”

Monkey Fist released her and went over to the large crowd saying, “Come on! It’s starting!” She could smell alcohol on his breath and could see that several of the other villains were also inebriated.

Kim stood frozen until she felt someone leaning on her shoulder. “Hey there, Princess.”

“Shego? What’s going on?” The older woman seemed sober so she figured maybe she could get an answer.

“It’s a Christmas party, doy.”

“But you guys… were expecting me?”

“Of course. I mean, I did send the little invite to your computer nerd.”

Kim was at a loss for words.

“Don’t worry, Cupcake, I brought a present to say it was from you.” She wrapped an arm around the girl’s shoulder and said, “Now come on, we’re opening presents.” She steered Kim towards the crowd and Kim was handed a gift, as was Shego.

“Okay guys, we’re going to open them one at a time!” called out DNAmy. “No unwrapping early. We’re going to take our time. No acting like big meanies.” She was bright red in the face, no doubt delightfully intoxicated.

Shego took a seat in the large circle they had started forming and pulled Kim down beside her.

“Why exactly are you guys, my enemies, celebrating Christmas with me?” the redhead hissed under her breath to the older woman.

She chuckled in response. “Pumpkin, we may be enemies, but you’re also part of this big family thing we have going on. Think about it, you interact with us way more than we interact with anyone else. You’re part of our social lives in a way. Sure you beat all these stupid villains and stop them from taking over the world, but you never want us to seriously get hurt.”

“Yeah, but you guys want ME to seriously get hurt,” Kim complained quietly.

Shego shrugged, “We’re still bad guys. Right now we’re just calling it a truce. It’s more fun to party with more people.”

Kim grumbled.

When it was finally Kim’s turn to open a present, she hesitantly did so. Inside she found an ugly Christmas sweater. “You guys have got to be kidding me,” she said with a laugh.

The villains were all hooting and hollering, thinking it was a great gift. While all of them had been receiving things like plans for doomsday devices or little robots and so on, Kim was the only one to receive something that looked handmade, but also like a joke.

“Put it on!” some of the villains called out.

Kim was turning red, “I’d rather not.”

“Oh come on, just do it. It’ll keep them in good spirits and you might not have to deal with them until after the New Years,” Shego said with a laugh.

Grumbling Kim took off her jacket to reveal the sweater she was already wearing which was red and green with Christmas trees and snowflakes on it. She pulled the ugly sweater on overtop and pulled off the other sweater from underneath, asking with a huff, “Are you guys happy?”

They all chorused their approval and then continued on.

Shego received a large pack of nail files, which although she acted like she didn’t want, she proved they were good when she pulled one out of the case and started using it.

After they finished going around in the circle the party went back to people mingling and eating and drinking and dancing.

Kim wormed her way out of the middle of the crowd and moved towards the exit.

Shego grabbed her arm before she could leave, stopping her just in front of the door. “And where do you think you’re going? This party is only halfway through.”

“I’m going home. While you all may not value your sleep, I do. I was sleeping before I got the call that I had to show up here.”

“Come on, Princess, it’s not even that late, lighten up.”

Kim groaned. “Shego, today has been a busy day. I had to visit both sides of the family in one day, deal with the twins the entire time, and then I had to help my mom clean up all the dishes and the mess the twins made after playing with their new rockets and I had to help some people from getting crushed in an avalanche and I’m just exhausted.”

The green skinned woman was about to reply when Motor Ed suddenly shouted, “RED AND GREEN ARE UNDER THE MISTLETOE!”

Everyone froze in their place and turned to Kim and Shego.

“What…?” Kim asked in confusion, looking up. Sure enough there was a giant ball of mistletoe hanging above them. “How did I miss that…?”

Shego shrugged, “First I’ve seen it.”

“I thought you were wide awake,” Kim muttered.

While they were talking they could hear a slow chant of “Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!” being kicked up by the villains. It had started off relatively low but was getting increasingly loud.

“Princess, I am inebriated like you wouldn’t believe,” Shego laughed.

“Wait, what?!” Kim asked in shock. “You don’t look it!”

“Well then, as the crowd wishes, I’ll prove it to you,” the older woman smirked.

Before Kim could understand what was going on, Shego had wrapped her arms around the girl and pulled her in for a kiss.

As quickly as it’d happened, it was over.

The redhead’s jaw dropped and the villains all cheered before they went back to their partying. None of them were going to be able to remember the night after how much they’d drank, which Kim was thankful for.

There was a lingering taste of eggnog from the kiss, and she assumed that the added flavor was some sort of alcohol.

“What the hell are you guys drinking?” Kim asked abruptly.

Shego had turned to head back to the party but stopped. “Eggnog, sweetheart.”

“Not that. I mean the alcohol in it. You guys are getting drunk so fast I’m worried you all might end up with alcohol poisoning,” Kim muttered.

Shego grinned and said, “Candy Cane flavored Vodka. You want some?”

Kim shook her head, “No thanks. I already had enough to… uh… taste.”

Shego smirked and moved back over to Kim, fingers trailing down the redhead’s sides. “You sure you wouldn’t like another taste?”

Kim swallowed and said, “N-No thanks.”

Shego lowered her voice and said in a husky manner and with lidded eyes, “Well, stick around, and if you change your mind, let me know.”

She pulled away and almost instantly Kim missed the warmth of the woman’s fingers. She mentally slapped herself when she heard that.

Wade called a moment later. “KP, is everything alright?”

“Huh? Oh, yeah, things are good,” Kim said, trying to hide the blush on her face.

“What’s that noise?” he asked with a confused look.

“They were throwing a Christmas party. They’re all drunk off their minds.”

“Are you… wearing a different sweater than earlier?”

Kim groaned, “Yeah. Apparently there was a secret Santa. I got this as a present.”

Wade worked hard to suppress his laughter. After calming down he asked, “So, you need a ride back.”

Kim looked up at the crowd, her eyes following the green figure that had moved to the dance floor. “N-No. I think I’ll be fine. I’ll get back on my own.”

“Alright… just call me if you need me.”

“Thanks Wade.” The redhead hung up and she found herself still staring at Shego.

The older woman caught her eye and smirked. She could see the woman intentionally making her dance moves more sexual as she threw a wink at the redhead.

Kim’s mouth went dry and she found herself moving towards the villain.

When she was close to Shego, the older woman moved up to her and whispered into her ear, “I take it you want another taste.”

The hero licked her lips before mumbling in reply, “Yeah, I do.” She could feel her face turning a deep shade of red when the older woman grinned.

Shego gently pulled the redhead against her and pressed their lips together again before pulling back and saying, “So, did you still want to go home… or do you want to stay with me till morning?”

Kim almost squeaked in surprise at the invitation but she managed to say, “I don’t want to go home.” Shego grinned but before the woman could make any commentary the redhead pulled her back down and pressed their lips together.

Shego only pulled back for a moment to whisper, “Merry Christmas, Princess,” before leaning back in and capturing what she had always wanted most of all… Kim Possible.

Human!TMNT Donatello

When the turtles had snuck into an abandoned laboratory to search for old parts, none of them had expected this…outcome. Donnie had done multiple tests and concluded that the effect would only last a little bit over 24 hours, with no side effects. You looked at Donnie and he held his arms out. “What do you think?” “You’re so much smaller…pretty cute though.” “Yeah?” “Yeah. How do you feel?” “Really, really weird. But happy too. Anyway, there’s a reason I called you over and it wasn’t to stare at me.” He reached into his dresser and pulled out a notebook. “There’s a lot of stuff that I’ve always wanted to do and I know that I can’t do all of them, but I want to try. Care to join me, dove?” You smiled and kissed his cheek. “Of course.” Donnie grinned and said “I thought you would say that.” The entire day was a whirlwind of excitement as you went through Donnie’s bucket list, seeing and doing everything he had ever dreamed of. But it was more then just crossing off a few items in a notebook to Donnie. It was being human. Walking around with people and being accepted, the one thing he had always dreamed of. People smiled at him as he walked down the street. An elderly woman told him that you made a cute couple. It was incredible. “Don? You okay there?” He looked at you and smiled. You had taken a break from walking and where currently resting in the park. With the sun setting behind you, you seemed to glow…you were beautiful. “Y/N, I’ve been trying for a long time to turn myself human.” “I didn’t know that…” “I never told anyone. But I’ve wanted this so badly for so long and when it finally happens…I only get a little more then a day.” “Oh, Donnie.” You took his hands in yours and looked at your boyfriend. “I’m sorry. Looking back, it’s pretty obvious that you’ve been trying for this for a long time. And I’m sorry that it isn’t the way you planned. And I know what I’m about to say probably won’t change your mind about your experiments. But I love you, turtle or human, mutant or man. I love that you’re nerdy and sweet and that you treat me like a queen. I love you no matter what.” He pressed his forhead against yours and closed his eyes. “I can’t even give you the life you deserve. Just one day.” “One day that was great. But I’d rather have every day with you as a turtle then one day with you as a human. I don’t want you to get hurt.” “I know, dove.” He kissed you softly. “I love you, Donatello.” “I love you too, Y/N.” You remained in the park until it began to get darker. “I better take you home.” “Will you stay with me?” Donnie turned and noticed the look you were giving him. “Um, yeah…yeah, I can do that.”

Welcome to Monster High: Review

the DVD of Welcome to Monster High comes out today! please support the official release!

I meant to do this review a month ago when I saw it in theaters but I am a horrible procrastinator.

Before I get into the movie I want to talk about the screening itself as this is technically Monster High’s first theatrical release and it was a one day one time only special event by Fathom and it was at 10am in only one theater in my city.

I hated every moment of this screening. I’m not a morning person by nature and the very idea of making kids wake up early on a Saturday to see a movie for them is horrifying to me and I have a new found respect for all of y’all with children who took them to this and movies like this, you are gods among us, we are so very weak. There were only about a dozen people in my showing, 5 parents with their kid(s) ( hovering around ages of 8-12), one lone 16 year old and then me and my friend - two tired 20-somthings with pink & purple hair.

I’m a little bummed the turn out was so low but at that time on a Saturday morning I shouldn’t be surprised, I honestly don’t know what Fathom and Mattel were expecting with this time slot, but that’s enough of that! on to the Review!

I arrived a little late to my screening (did I mention I’m not a morning person?) so I don’t know how many of these little shorts they played before the movie began but the one that was playing when I arrived was Clawdeen’s which you can watch now on their You Tube!

This my longest Monster High Movie review to date! so long in fact It has a part 2!!! which will be up shortly. I wanted to cover everything and there is so much new stuff, there is no way I could be brief. I’ve been invested in this franchise for 6 years and I felt like I owe to to the series and you to give you my honest thoughts on this new direction so grab yourself a snack and a drink before strapping in, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride!

Spoilers & pictures under the cut! So if you don’t want to be spoiled proceed with caution!

No one dared go near the abandoned Laboratory out side of town most fearing it simply to dangerous an area to go exploring while others spoke of a creature that lurked inside it, forever wandering its empty halls, some said it was probably just some poor homeless person while others speculated it was something that had been created in that lab never daring to leave the place where it had been born.

Timaeus lay stretched out on the roof of the remains of the abandoned Laboratory basking in the sunlight, seemingly purring in delight of the warmth. Until something caught his attention, hearing the sound of footsteps growing closer. Lifting his head he sniffed the air the scent was unfamiliar. Then he saw her, a young woman with long flowing white hair, or was it pale blue? Who was she? Why was she here? Curious he climbed down from his spot on the roof dropping down through a whole and after making a few quick leaps down reached the bottom. While making sure to stay out of sight he watched her with great curiosity, his heart beating rapidly in his chest.

Mostly it was just rambunctious teenagers who came around usually trying to dare each other to explore the place or stay the night, of course he always scared them off. Not because he disliked them but for there own safety, he knew the place was falling a part and didn’t wish to see anyone get hurt. He wanted to be left in piece and if anyone were to get hurt it would bring more humans to the area and he was sure to be found out, if he was discovered he knew they’d immediately send him off to another Lab, where he’d be experimented on. Never again.
