New York born and bred, Curses is a DJ / producer who’s produces what he call’s New Gotham House. It’s deep, it’s dark, it’s edgy and raw. With releases on Ultra Music and Marble, Curses also is one of the founding members of the multifaceted Trouble & Bass label that boasts the best of bass music.
Valentino Khan is known for defying genres and breaking down any musical boundaries. He’s produced for B.o.B., Bruno Mars, T.I, Tyga, and 2 Chainz but now focuses on electronic music. Hailing from LA, he’s released on Ultra Music, Dim Mak, Mad Decent and has received support from the likes of Skrillex, Boys Noize, Steve Aoki, Dillon Francis and many many more!
The forward-thinking techno duo Monsieur Monsieur are a part of Brodinski’s Bromance Records label. From Reims, France, these guys are known for their exploration into the dark depths of electronic music. They recently released their Bromance #14 EP and have done Rinse FM and Tsugi podcasts.
French Kiwi Juice, popularly known as FKJ, has a signature smooth and sophisticated sound. His productions are intricately complex, showcasing his attention to detail in every track. FKJ is for those who love to get down and groove.
This UK based producer / DJ started off strong, releasing on Dirtybird Records in early 2012. With his underground bass-driven sound, he earned a recurring spot on BBC Radio 1’s ‘In New DJs We Trust’ show and currently spins weekly on his own Rinse FM podcast. He also started and runs the Food Music label with one half of the Kry Wolf duo.
At only 26, this DJ / producer / turntablist represented his home country of Norway as a DJ finalist in the DMC World DJ Championships from 2006 to 2009. His technical skill is well-represented in his futuristic hip-hop, R&B, and bass driven production.
Another native of Reims, France, Yuksek is a classically trained pianist, composer, and DJ who started releasing tracks in 2002. Currently, Yuksek owns and manages his distinctly adventurous Partyfine record label. Also a member of The Krays (with fellow Frenchman Brodinski) and Peter and The Magician, Yuksek is known for his live sets where he uses multiple synths and electronic equipment, proving his musical talent and versatility.
This duo is a combination of LA and DC based Manila Killa and Candle Weather. Relatively new to the electronic music scene, they’ve reworked Disclosure’s “White Noise” and Corona’s classic “Rhythm Of The Night”. They’ve recently hit the #1 spot on Hype Machine and have big plans for the future.
My Nu Leng is a UK-based duo part of the Black Butter Records crew. These guys fuse dark house with moody garage sounds and have an overall bold and innovative sound. Recently, they’ve done a Mixmag In Session mix, and a guest mix on aforementioned Shadow Child’s Rinse FM podcast.
Haitian born and Montreal bred, this producer / DJ first started DJing at the ripe age of 14 and started producing soon after. His relentless exploration and passion has an undeniable groove and swing and is easily heard in his hip-hop and R&B influenced electronic productions.
I wish Mark could send us all Christmas card’s. Seeing as I know he can’t, I made a super cheesy one instead to fulfill my needs! :P I imagined that this would be the front image and the backside would have a personalized message.
