In collaboration with Amnesty International and “Color Revolution”, A.Signl from the Captain Borderline crew recently completed this mural in Cologne, Germany to point out the human rights violations in China. The interesting mural is reminiscent of a photothat was taken during the massacre at the Tiananmen Square in 1989. If you are in the neighbourhood, this new mural can be seen on Vogelsanger Str. 283 in Cologne.

Based on a famous photograph from the 1989 protests in China’s Tiananmen Square, Amnesty International commissioned A. Signl (www.captainborderline.com) to paint this in Cologne, Germany, highlighting human rights abuses in China (hence the tank is built from goods made in China). Thanks to www.facebook.com/thestreetartcurator for the picture.
Using iconic imagery from the Tiananmen Square incident in 1989, A.SignL from the Captain Borderline crew recently completed this mural in Cologne, Germany to protest human rights violations in modern China. The tank is made up of all types of cheap consumer goods “Made in China” and the man standing in its way is holding a bag that says “Fair Trade.” The piece was a collaboration with Amnesty International and Color Revolution.
