Pairing: Female Dragonborn/Serana
Rating: M
Length: 122k/150k+

Summary: Eira never wanted to save the world, but when she accidentally releases an ancient vampire from her crypt, she finds herself along for the ride whether she likes it or not.

We’re a little more than halfway done, kids. In a few chapters I’ll post a note giving you a better idea of where we’re headed but this is where we really start to leave the main story and start following a different path than the one Dawnguard lays out for you. I hope you like it!

I think you are stronger than you give yourself credit for and need to give yourself a break. You are where you need to be at this point of your life, dont compare yourself to those around you because you are on a different path and will get there when you're ready. I love you infinitely, please dont hurt or hate yourself

Thank you…even though I say I disagree with this is where I’m supposed to be in life(bc honestly I’m in a shitty spot rn), comparing myself to others is easier said than actually done but I love you too very very much and thank you so much for the kind words. You ultimately have more faith in me than I actually do myself.

Somebody give me creative reigns for a TV show. Picture this - Elvira and Dolly Parton starring side-by-side as twin sisters, both witches from humble roots. They’ve each lived wild lives independently and with a little huffy hostility towards each other, following different paths to become powerful enchantresses. As they reach old age, they realize the only thing they can’t replace with magic…. is family.

Things to Keep in Mind

1. Your grades are not a measure of your value and worth.

2. A low or failing grade doesn’t make you worthless.

3. You are valuable because you are you.

4. You don’t have to prove anything to anybody.

5. You are unique, special, and have lots to give and offer.

6. You have people in your life who love and care for you.

7. When one door closes another always opens.

8. Life is full of opportunities, of second chances, and different paths and roads.

I see you around with her, documenting your adventures in the squares of your Instagram. A part of me dies inside and at the same time, it’s such a bittersweet feeling. And I can tell she likes the attention as you give her what you gave me; the love that once changed my life. At this, I thank God again and thank you for what you gave me. I accept that our love wasn’t meant to last and that we are on two different paths.

Jocasta Nu survives that bit with the murder (somehow) and winds up with Rebel Intelligence (where else). Post ANH she ends up teaching Luke and possibly also Leia. Certain truths may get told a sight earlier (cough*Vader*cough). On a completely unrelated note it's not exactly easy for sundry rebels to take Vader seriously anymore due to someone spreading Temple gossip courtesy of the de facto Jedi Grandmother.

Okay but why not go full AU here and drop Jocasta into the Double Agent Vader storyline.

She’s an intelligence agent, of course, and by the time we reach the OT period she’s probably working closely with Mon Mothma herself. And if we assume that Anakin shared a bit of Tatooine culture with her (though far from everything), then she might very well recognize the name Ekkreth. Especially since she already knows that Anakin is Vader.

If Jocasta survived, I think it would be because Anakin failed to kill her in the Temple. Which, realistically, would probably mean he knowingly let her escape. So she knows better than anyone, even Obi-Wan or Yoda, exactly what he did. She was there.

So it’s going to be difficult for her, to say the least. She cared a lot about this kid, and she did what she could to help him without fully understanding the situation and without having regular access to him, and obviously something went horribly wrong. She was there in the Temple. She knows what happened. She knows what he did. It’s not something she can ever forget. Sometimes the thought of it makes her physically ill.

But she also sees what he’s doing now, and she’s perhaps better equipped to work with him than most other members of Alliance Intelligence. When the Inquisitors’ lists of Force sensitive children start coming in, she knows what that means. And when his coded phrases reference Tatooine stories, sometimes she knows what that means, too.

Eventually she sends him a coded message directly. That wouldn’t be completely out of the ordinary - Anakin’s primary Rebel contact is Leia, but sometimes he communicates with Mon Mothma as well. But when he gets this message, he knows it’s not from Mon Mothma. She doesn’t usually send physical deliveries, and she certainly wouldn’t send something like this: a carefully wrapped package of biscuits, with a note included that says “Don’t forget again.” It’s signed “Grandma.”

It’s a pretty big risk, even if there is no directly incriminating information. But Jocasta’s felt alone for a long time now. She has a place in the Rebellion, but most of her life was spent surrounded by other Jedi, and now it’s just her. Just her, and on the rare occasions when they’re stationed on the same base there’s Ahsoka Tano, grown now and insisting she’s not a Jedi. And now Ekkreth, someone she once knew as a boy called Anakin. He’s grown now, too, and it’s no less strange than Ahsoka. She’s used to thinking of both of them as children.

And yes, there’s quite a large part of Jocasta that blames Anakin for the loss of the Order and the Republic. But he’s also the only one left, and sometimes she isn’t sure if she blames him or if she blames the Jedi or even herself. It would be easiest, and maybe best, to simply blame Palpatine, but Jocasta’s learned that logic alone can only get you so far. Her emotions are harder to tame. It’s funny, she thinks bleakly sometimes, that it took the loss of everything she’d ever known and believed for her to start questioning those beliefs.

So she doesn’t know how she feels, really. But a few weeks later, when a delivery arrives for her on the Rebel base on Settra, she lets herself smile about it. There’s a seemingly untouched package of biscuits inside. Beneath every biscuit there’s a datastick. She runs each of them through the decryptions. They’re copies - abbreviated, limited, but there - of the Jedi Archives.

Eventually, she hopes, they’ll meet again in person. She still doesn’t know what she’ll do. But this is something. It’s a beginning.

How about the Harry Styles album?
We’re close and we’re very excited. We have a record we’re incredibly excited about and it’s not far away from being ready. We obviously want everything to be beautifully done, because we think he’s here to stay. Harry has stepped up with the vision of someone who’s authentic.

Typically with boy bands, there’s only one breakout star. How is it that One direction – with successful simultaneous singles by Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson – is bucking this long standing norm?
They didn’t box themselves into a corner singing and dancing. It didn’t have all the rules of the boy bands of the past where they’re too boy-next-door, too sickly sweet. They weren’t caricatures. And today, they’re making smart choices. It doesn’t surprise me that there’s is a different path and they’re doing pretty well. With One Direction, they became so big everywhere and from day one that their spread is much wider than other previous boy bands.

  • Crossroads symbolize the joining of paths the making of decisions. In almost every culture it is a sacred place where rituals are held, offerings are left, and items are disposed of.
  • Crossroads are sacred to Hecate, Triformis, and Diana. Hecates three ‘faces’ protect each of the different paths. Hecate sees past, present, and future. She rules all places where there are three or more crossroads. Altars are put at the crossroads to leave Hecate offerings and give devotion.  The crossroads are also thought to be protected by Hermes and Diana.
  • Due to the hatred of witchcraft by the Christians, Witches and burglars alike were hung and buried at the crossroads. Making people believe they are haunted. It is also a place where people supposedly go to sell their soul to the devil.
  • Witches believe the crossroads to be a sacred place where rituals are done and dirt is collected. Spell remains are often buried at the crossroads. It is where interaction with spirits and other worldly forces are heightened. It is a place to contact and leave offerings for spirits. Samhain is celebrated at the crossroads.
  • In the Hoodoo religion, many of their rituals are done at the crossroads. This is also shown in European and African folklore.
  •  In Africa almost every group has their own Deity that guards the crossroads.
  • Some cultures heal at the crossroads.
  • Faeries aare also found at the crossroads.

May the moon light your path!

==Moonlight Academy==

You wanna know the truth?” She laughed.
“Well the fucked up truth is that not everything happens for a reason. Sometimes people make the wrong decisions and they’re forced to live with them for the rest of their lives. And I know I should live with mine, because I mean what other choice do I have? You can’t turn back the clocks and redo things. You make a mistake and you pay the price, that’s the cold hard truth about life.
You can’t change a decision you’ve already made, wrong or right. But on the loneliest nights, I look up at the moon and I smile. Because although now we walk different paths, with different people and although I know that the years will pass and we will won’t be together; I’ll always remember that for a brief, fraction of a moment, against all the odds, our stars crossed. And that will always, always be enough for me.
—  Excerpt of a book I’ll never write

One very important thing that I have learned is to stop comparing my life to others. Sometimes, my chapter 1 isn’t like her chapter 1. And more than likely my chapter 14 isn’t like her chapter 14. And I can’t compare my chapter 1 to her chapter 21. They’re all completely incomparable. Everyone has a different path that life is taking them down. Each path is filled with lessons that you can either learn and grow from or let hinder you and depress you. I have accepted my path and what is possibly in store for me, and I’ve chosen to be optimistic about it all. Because honestly, tomorrow (or any day) could be the best day of my life! I will not allow myself to be sad because my life is not moving at the pace I may want it to. There is a silver living in every day and I’ve chosen to see each one. Life is not a competition to see who has the “better” one. The only person who you should be competing with is your past self.

Lesbians who have a history with men aren’t “fake lesbians,” they aren’t “secretly bi” and they are valid lesbians. Every lesbian has a different history and a different path to discovering themselves, and if your past includes men that doesn’t mean that you are interested in men now. You can be a lesbian who has been with men in the past before you realized you’re a lesbian. Your history doesn’t make you any less of a lesbian.

Trick or Treat; Take Your Pick!

(A BTS choose your ending fic~)

A/N: Hello~! I’m back at it again with one of my outrageous fanfiction ideas! xD This time it’s a choose your adventure fic! Therefore, a fic that has 7 different paths/endings! :D The fun part is that I’m not dropping many hints as to who is who~ hehehe~ So, that being said–let’s get into it!

Words: 1,276

Genre: Smut

“I can’t believe you dragged me here, you pixie bitch,” you snarl at your friend, hating the way her glitter covered face stretches into a brilliant smile—her strap-on wings bouncing on her back with every step. In the distance—only a short ways away now—you see and hear your destination—a frat house with blaring music and the most half-assed Halloween decorations you’ve ever seen.

Biting your bottom lip—the cold air brushing over your barely covered skin—you hug your arms tightly and nearly punch your friend when she whistles.

“Wooo~! Look at that cleavage!”

Skipping in front of you, she reaches her hands out and gropes your breasts, pushing them up more than they already are. You immediately move to kick her away, but she knows you too well and is out of kicking distance before you can blink.

“I will bite you,” you tell her, and she winks, lifting up her already short tinker bell dress to reveal her thong-clad hip.

“Do it baby I’m ready~”

You roll your eyes, pushing past her. Your black heels click against the pavement hurriedly. You don’t even care that you didn’t really want to come to this party anymore—all you know is that it’s too cold out to keep standing here like a fool, so you make for the door—no matter how many drunk, horny college students are inside.

“How many shots have you had already?” you scoff when your friend runs up beside you, wobbling even though she’s only wearing a pair of white flats. She shrugs nonchalantly.

“Only 4.”

You scoff. “Right, well, I’ll expect to see you back at our apartment some time tomorrow—alive.”

“Same to you~,” she grins cheekily, and you roll your eyes. She’s the one here to get laid. You’re here because she’d refused to let you stay home alone on Halloween—cuddled up in a blanket and watching shitty movie reruns. Apparently it wasn’t “fun enough”—so she’d dug out her old costume from last year and shoved you into it despite your complaints of ‘it’s so short!’, ‘there’s no way this is my size!’ and ‘don’t you have a different, less revealing costume?!’

So…here you are. Freezing your ass off and wearing nothing more than the sexy maid outfit she had forced you to wear. You had honestly wanted to kill her when she had presented it to you.

I even have a garter belt for the thigh highs!” she had yelled, and in response you had groaned, tugging on the hem of the skirt and wishing that it’d magically lengthen—just an inch or two. If you happened to bend down in this state everyone around would get an eyeful of your panties (which, smartly, you had decided to change into pure black ones before leaving).

As you push open the front door—the lace on your thigh-highs subtly rubbing together—you get an eyeful of the party laid out before you. There are girls in guys in every direction—some chatting politely and some about ready to fuck where they stand.

“C’mon!” your friend says, tugging you inside when you get distracted by a male dressed as Yu-gi-oh.

And so, the door to the house closes behind you, and you’re trapped.

“Try to have fun!” you friend tells you, turning and grabbing your hands. Grinning giddily, she jumps up and hugs you tightly before patting your ass and scurrying off to find the alcohol and catch herself a man for the remainder of the night. Watching her go, you simply sigh and head for the punch bowl—figuring that if you’re going to spend your night here getting crushed within a throng of people than you should at least have some alcohol in your system to make it a little more tolerable.

Grabbing one of the large solo cups, you press your back against the wall behind you and survey the crowd. Immediately you feel several pairs of eyes on you, and you glance down at your outfit to make sure that you’re not flashing anyone before you subtly begin to search for those who have set their sights on you.

The first male you discover is near the staircase—his styled hair covered by a droopy pirate hat. Across his left eye is a black eyepatch, and adorning the rest of his body are worn out, torn clothing. When you meet his stare he doesn’t look away, simply holds your gaze with his one showing eye, cracks a little smirk, and waggles his brows at you before looking away.

The next male you spot is…a hotdog. Plain and simple. It’s a boy wearing a hotdog suit—his hair swept neatly to the side despite his childish choice of costume. At seeing he has your attention, he bites his bottom lip and then slowly glances away—but you catch him looking at you again a few seconds later, and when he sees that you’re still staring at him, his lips quirk.

The third male you spot is…more normal. He’s dressed as a…working class man—fitted black slacks, a button down shirt with the top buttons popped and tie hanging loosely around his neck. A sexy professor, you decide to dub him. Gently pushing up the pair of glasses on his nose, he scans your body up and down before meeting your gaze. And then—tongue poking out to barely wet his lips—he turns away.

Male number four is…a white sheet. A hastily made ghost, from the looks of it. The eyeholes are rigid and unevenly sized, but even so you can see the dark eyes peering at you from inside. Your stares meet and he doesn’t waver. However, after a few seconds the ghost’s shoulders shake with laughter and he winks before disappearing further into the crowd.

The next person you find looking your way is a male in a toga. An easy costume, but he pulls it off well—his hair parted and revealing his forehead. Atop his head is a small gold halo, and he meets your gaze while moving to readjust the piece. Immediately, he smiles. His eyes crease happily, and then he raises his eyebrows teasingly—breaking the eye contact when someone calls for him.

Surprisingly, yet another male is looking at you—this time one wearing a Scream costume. Dressed in a black cloak and the classic white mask, at first you’re not sure if he’s truly staring at you—unable to see his eyes beneath the mask, but after a minute you’re positive that he is. Lifting his hand, he does the classic ‘I’m watching you’ move before finally looking away.

Lastly—how did you even manage to catch the attention of this many people (you blame it on the outrageously scandalous costume)—you find a devil looking at you. Red t-shirt, dark jeans, fake horns and fake tail. He meets your stare and immediately becomes tentative, but he doesn’t shy away. Instead he casually looks you over and then smiles, winks, and turns back to what he was doing.

Still leaned against the wall—the drink in your hand now empty and the music from the nearby speakers deafening your ears—you debate what to do. You know you hadn’t come here to find someone to hook up with, but…why not let loose, right? Just this once. Just have fun and go with the flow.

But…who to go to?

The pirate? The ghost? The hotdog? Honestly, they’re all tempting, you won’t lie.

Finally, sighing, you throw your cup into the nearby trash, push off the wall, and with confidence stride towards the—
