a very brady

Lin was in Mary Poppins with me, so one day I took my parrot umbrella and gently pressed him against the wall, by the throat, and said, ‘You need to give me Wayne Brady’s personal e-mail!’ He gave it up very easily.

Hello ! Any feel good/funny films directed by women you could rec me please ? I'm trying to do the #52films challenge but only watching drama or films on serious issues is a little exhausting and that's what most lists of good films made by women seem to recommend :s

First off, congrats on a) attempting the 52 films challenge and b) on not giving up when you hit a snag and making sure you complete it!

Second of all: absolutely I have suggestions!

Also a lot of big 90s comedies I’m not super into, but you might like such as The Brady Bunch, A Very Brady Sequel, Wayne’s World, and Billy Madison are all directed by women.

[The Avengers are tied together to a staircase by Hammer, who fled after kidnapping Pepper. While waiting for Natasha they each silently think to themselves.]

Steve: If I had been a better leader, I would’ve been on Mr. Hammer sooner. This is all my fault.

Tony: If I wasn’t too busy looking for my A.I.s, I would’ve seen something suspicious. This is all my fault.

Dum-E: I bet he wouldn’t have tied me up if I was C-3P0. This is all my fault.

Bruce: What a dumb-head I am. I guess Mr. Hammer was not much of a hero after all. This is all my fault.

Sam: I must’ve not put enough mushrooms in his spaghetti sauce. This is all my fault.

Bucky: Tony looks great in those ropes… Wait a minute, what am I saying? This is all my fault!

Thor: It was wrong to make up Jane Foster. This is all my fault!

Wanda: This is all Stark’s fault.
