a time for friendship

anonymous asked:

what do you think was dave and karkat's first kiss

you mean like in canon? because you know it was probably the most awkward, long overdo thing in existence. Neither of them would have wanted to make the first move because half the time dave is still denying that’s a thing that could even be possible and karkat is so sure that if he pushes anything romantic it’ll tear apart their friendship

so they just wait. the longest fucking time. they’ve been practically dating for like six months and have had so many piles about their individual hangups when it comes to relationships. they decide that dating each other outside of the quadrants is a thing they’d want to do but neither of them actually confirms if they are dating or not. dave starts letting down his walls to be the clingy motherfucker he is.

eventually karkat is frustrated enough that he’s just like ‘okay. okay, this is ridiculous. we’ve been a human quadrant dating abomination for two perigees now. hold still i’m gonna kiss you because apparently we’ll never get it over with otherwise.’

it’s so awkward and stiff and both of them are bright fucking red afterwards and don’t say anything for like fifteen minutes. it slowly but surely gets more natural after that though

How Reyes Vidal stole my heart (and will probably steal yours too)

From even before I started playing Mass Effect Andromeda, I was 100% sure I was going to romance Jaal. Jaal all the way. Nothing but Jaal, Jaal, Jaal. I mean, have you seen his eyes? Or heard his voice? That’s one sexy alien.

Jaal and I had a really good thing going, you know. First we became friends. We took our time getting to know eachother. Slowly, our friendship turned into something more. Our talks became flirty and giggly, even suggestive. It was a lot of fun and it was pretty clear where the two of us were headed.

Then, I was asked to go to Kadara. That wonderful planet full of outcasts and outlaws. I immediately felt at home among all those angry exiles. Jaal hated it. He was complaining all the time - about the people, the air, the water, the temperature, everything. “You want to go back to the Tempest?” I asked him sharply. “I didn’t know that was an option,” he answered sourly. It wasn’t exactly a fight, but we definitely had our first disagreement. And it annoyed me, because I had backed him in everything from the first time I met him. But when we got to Kadara and the Badlands, to that place that I really liked, he couldn’t even just stay silent about not liking it. I also had to admit that I was actually freaking out a little bit about how open he was about his feelings. I mean, I know the Angaran wear their hearts on their sleeves, but jfc.

So Jaal went back to the Tempest so the two of us could take a little breather from eachother, and I hung around Kadara port without him, waiting to meet up with some contact with the code name Shena. I was just hanging at the bar, waiting for a person I assumed was an Angaran lady, when a guy behind me said: “You look like you’re waiting for someone.” Ugh yes, and I’m not here to get hit on, so go away. I turned around and he presented his hand for me to shake: “Shena. But you can call me Reyes. I hate code names.”

I’m sorry what? This is Shena? You are Shena? I giggled like a 13 year old and took the drink he offered me. He then proceeded to give me a lot of important information about Kadara port’s “politics” in a very charming accent. I should probably have paid attention to what he was saying, but I couldn’t stop looking at him. Just when I thought I’d gotten my giggling under control, I asked him about our new mission: “How do I contact you if things go south?” He answered:

My loins! Seriously, I’m still not quite sure what happened. He left fielded me so hard I’m still dizzy. All I know is that from that point on my heart belonged to Reyes Vidal.

But what about Jaal?

Jaal who?

Best things about FMA: Broken Angel

  • When Al dies, you can bring him back using alchemy and he’ll say “I thought I was dead!” however, if Ed is the one to deal the final blow to him (via cannon or whatever), upon being revived he’ll instead say in an exasperated tone, “Come on, Ed!!”
  • At the beginning of the game when you do the train fight, Ed and Al lampshade the number of times this fight has been repeated throughout the FMA franchise with “Weren’t we just in a situation like this?” “Yup. It’s a curse.” There’s also one line where Al mentions that he wants to be the one to go climb on the roof this time.
  • Halfway through the game there’s a fucking friendship montage of Ed, Al, and Armony that’s set to a song called “Kokoro no Hana” (Flower of the Heart) that is just as cheesy as it sounds in both lyrics and composition
  • There’s a recurring boss named Genz who has very little to do with the actual plot, but keeps showing up to fight Ed to prove that his automail is the best. But what’s really great about Genz is that every time he shows up, he has more and more automail, until he’s eventually just an actual android. Mind you this game takes place over the course of like, a week
  • Riza’s fucking disguise
  • You can transmute a decoy Ed that’s a slightly off recolor of his character model, with the flamel on his coat replaced with the word “FAKE” in big letters
  • If Al dies and you leave an area without reviving him, it’ll play the usual animation of Ed and Al running through the exit, and then when you get out Al will stand there for a second and then immediately fall over unconscious
  • “Listen! Do you smell something?” is an actual line said by Al and I’m fairly certain it’s not actually a Ghostbusters reference, just a poor translation, which makes it 100% funnier

Fandoms can be heaven, fandoms can be hell.

Besides Naruto, to me fandoms were mostly heaven. Granted, the old ones. I met so many people, people with whom I forget so many beautiful friendships that just lasted over time.

I have the most beautiful memories from those time, and some of the most beautiful people as friends, and I just couldn’t feel more happier about that. it was also what shaped me into what I am today. And funny how life has its road…

Zhan doesn’t like Jian Yi that way True/ False?

FALSE. He cares about him to the point that he wants to do everything to protect him. Everything, in order to be by his side. Sure, you can do that with friends as well, but he’s taking it to the next level. And I’m sitting here thinking the boy can pretty much handle himself. Like, Jian Yi is stronger than you think. Also, their friendship sort of changed in subtle ways during time.

After the kiss incident, Zhan began to question himself and became aware of Jian Yi (and everyone around him) more. He even discarded the feelings of that girl who was into him. In all honesty, if he really didn’t like Jian Yi in that way, wouldn’t he just come out and say it instead of stalling? Say it like he turned down that girl? He could be confused about himself, afraid to hurt his feelings or afraid to lose their friendship for all I care, but going about it this way is making everything worse I think. Not just for Jian Yi, but to himself as well. Who knows, maybe he just didn’t get the chance to speak what’s on his mind since Jian Yi doesn’t seem to like to talk about it.

Anyway, there is no point in discussing whether he likes him more than just a friend, because I truly believe he does. Maybe he wasn’t aware of it first and is now figuring it out.

‘Till this day I still wonder, what was it that he wanted to say to Jian Yi on that day before his little sister interrupted them?

Warning: Yeah, still my personal opnion. Don’t take offence, please.

If you met your exact self as another person, would you like them? Would they be a good friend? Would they seem kind, generous and loving? Would they have time and patience, and invest in your friendship? Would you feel good in their presence? Would they make you laugh? Would you truly want to spend time with them? Would they be a good influence? Remember, no one on earth spends more time with you, than — you. Be a good friend to yourself. The best way to be a good friend to yourself is to be a good person. Be the kind of person you wish you had in your life, because who you are, is exactly who you’ve got. — Bryant McGill

there are so many pics of soo & bbh laughing smiling being fond of each other just genuinely having a good time together they really have such a beautiful friendship if u think they hate each other then you just choose to be ignorant :-)

I’m such a dedicated “friendship is IMPORTANT” kind of truffles that often times I couldn’t tell you how romantically I ship two or more characters but could describe in exquisite detail why I love their relationship.
