a splash of vanilla

Just another breakfast bowl of all things good😌✨ the creamiest vanilla oats topped with a splash of coconut rice milk, apple, raspberries, pomegranate + buckinis👅👌🏼👌🏼 I’m so grateful to have beat my fear of eating cooked foods for breakfast and discovered this delicious & warming meal, as opposed to forcing myself to keep having frozen smoothies, because although I think fruit is a wonderful option, it’s just not normal to have to sit in front of a heater to eat breakfast and still end up shivering for hours afterwards🙈 That’s why it’s so important to find what works for YOU, not just follow the ‘rules’ of others💫💛
What did you have for breakfast today?

Dark Wolf’s Cold & Flu Syrup

- 1 tsp Rosemary

- 1 tsp Basil

- 1 tsp Mint

- 1 tbsp Ginger (dried or freshly grated)

- 2 tbsp Honey

- 1 tbsp Whiskey

- 1 pinch Cinnamon

- 1 splash Vanilla Extract (optional)

1. Bring about 1 cup of water to a boil.

2. Wrap the rosemary, basil, mint, and ginger into a cheesecloth and tie off, then place into the boiling water.

3. Place the honey, whiskey, and cinnamon into the water. Let all ingredients mix until the water looks like well steeped tea. (Add optional vanilla here for taste)

4. Squeeze the cheesecloth to get as much of the water out as possible.

5. Remove water from boil and begin to add granulated sugar. Add sugar until the mixture becomes about the consistency of NyQuil or Robitussin.

6. Place into a sterile container, such as a glass jam jar. The potion will keep for up to a year.

Vanilla: Listen well, boy. You have no right being here and it would serve you well to turn around and leave this very instant.

Merlot: I can’t do that.

Vanilla: You do not want to test me. I will make your life miserable.

Merlot: I’m not leaving her like this.

Vanilla: Very well, then I’m calling the police to report an intruder. Home invasion should get you a few months at least.

Chantilly Lace: But that’s a lie!

7-8 nanas
1/2tsp bourbon vanilla
a splash of almond milk
4-5 tsp cocoa bean nibs (added almost at the end)

Process all ingredients in a blender / food processor , except the cocoa bean nibs. When the nice cream is ready , add them and process for a bit again until it is all well mixed.

Sweet Like Caramel pt. 1- Delitoonz

Part 2

by Faith (just-delitoonz-things)

Jonathan had only worked at the coffee shop for a month before he decided that this was the best job in the entire world. For one thing, he got coffee 50% off, which for a guy living on his own in New York, paycheck to paycheck, was life changing. For another, he got to make coffee for cute guys, specifically one cute guy who had come in every morning since Jonathan had started working there. His name was Luke, and that’s pretty much all Jonathan knew about him except for the fact that he always came in at 6:30 sharp looking like he hated the world and everything in it. Jonathan hoped that the extra caramel he always put on his large caramel macchiatos made Luke’s mornings a little better.

A 00Q Chocolate Cake worth coming home to.

A good chocolate cake is worth its weight in gold, and its true value is in its dual ability to taste as decadent and sinful as James looks in a Tom Ford while touching that spot in you that longs for something soft and domestic. The one you feel when you and your quartermaster lean together, mentally, physically, emotionally exhausted, against the kitchen counter post-mission, hours before dawn. Wearing only pajamas, in silence you eat mouthfuls of cake straight from the platter, sharing the only clean fork in the flat. Every heavy bite pulls you closer to much-needed sleep, and you soften a little, knowing you won’t have to sleep alone. It tugs at that spot in your chest that reminds you you’re safe – someone’s looking after you. It’s not glamorous, not one bit. But it all tastes like home. Novel, that.

Chocolate Cake

For the cake you’ll need:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups granulated white sugar
  • ¾ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup whole milk, or whatever milk you have on hand
  • ½ cup vegetable oil or coconut oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A ~*splash*~  (roughly 1 ½ tbsp if the vagueness of that gives you hives) of hot, freshly-brewed coffee OR 1 tsp espresso powder
  • 1 cup boiling water
  1. Preheat your oven to 350F degrees, or 325F if you’re using a convection oven. Butter and lightly flour two 9” cake pans and set aside.
  2. Combine all dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt and espresso powder if using instead of coffee) in the bowl of a stand mixer or a large bowl if using an electric mixer. Use the stand mixer’s paddle attachment to combine, or a whisk if using an electric mixer.
  3. Add the milk, oil, eggs and vanilla. Mix at a medium speed until combined.
  4. Lower the speed and add the hot coffee and boiling water so you don’t burn ya self.
  5. Distribute the batter between the two pans and tap on the counter to remove air bubbles. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Let them cool in the pans on a cooking rack for about 15 minutes before turning out to cool completely.

Follow with chocolate buttercream frosting (recipe below).

Note: This is a REALLY thin batter, so don’t panic if you feel like you just made chocolate soup. It sets up just fine. Also, I hate to go all Ina Garten, but the quality of the cocoa powder in the cake AND frosting really makes all the difference. It needs to be Dutch-process to reach its dark, deadly potential.

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting

For the frosting you’ll need:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 ½-ish cups confectioner sugar
  • ½ cup Dutch-process cocoa powder
  • 4 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer (you can use either the paddle or the whisk, but I like fluffy frosting so I always use the whisk) beat the butter for a minute or two until it’s fluffy.
  2. Add the salt and vanilla and beat to combine.
  3. Add the confectioner’s sugar until combined, and then the cocoa powder.
  4. Add your heavy whipping cream one tbsp at a time until it’s the consistency you like! Beat it in on medium for a minute.

Note: If you like enough frosting to bathe in, be sure to double this recipe. It’s plenty to cover the cake (and very rich), but if you’re looking for a solid inch of coverage on each side… yeah. Double it.

I spent a lot of time imagining what sorts of bizarre upgrades Q would give a KitchenAid stand mixer while making this.

Breakfast from this morning 😋 banana oat waffle topped with homemade blueberry sauce and melted @maranathafoods peanut butter 👍
Waffle - In a blender or food processor add ½ cup oats, 1 mashed banana, 1 egg, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 scoop @drinkorgain vanilla protein powder, and a splash of almond milk. Blend until smooth then cook in a preheated waffle iron sprayed with coconut oil.
Blueberry sauce - add a couple handfuls of fresh blueberries and a small amount of water to a pot on the stove. Bring to a boil, mash up the blueberries, and let simmer until it reaches the consistency you desire. The longer the simmer the thicker the sauce!

“Bathe me in Love” spell

A bath spell that takes the love that’s all around you and pours it out for you to soak up.

To be done on a Friday

Into a paper coffee filter, place the following:

rose leaves

dried lemon peel

Tie the bundle off with pink embroidery floss, knotting it nine times. Anoint the bundle with an oil that contains at least one of the following:  rose, yarrow, cardamom, strawberry, saffron, sandalwood, vanilla (I used BPAL’s Jezebel). Dedicate it to a love deity/spirit of your choice, or to the greatest good of the universe (if you don’t work with spirits or deities).

Get the water running in the tub, and add some lavender oil and a little splash of vanilla extract. Place the bundle in the tub. You can add some pink, green or blue food coloring to the bath as well, for extra Venus energy.

Enjoy your bath, and observe how the love feels. Let it in, and let it wash away your pain and darkness. You are so loved.

Keto (low carb) Starbucks @Home!

I’ve noticed a drink from @Starbucks getting popular with the “cool kids”. It consists of something like Passion Tea + Coconut Milk + vanilla syrup + tons of excess sugar. It ain’t exactly cheap either.

I quickly said, “Pssssshhhhhh!” and went about creating my own version at home.

I already love Tazo Passion Tea so I got some brewing cold in the fridge.

Fill up a glass ¾ full of ice
Add chilled Passion tea to ¾ of cup
Add a splash of HEAVY Cream
Add a teaspoon of vanilla extract
Add a few squirts of Stevia concentrate

This tastes DELICIOUS, and has a tropical feel. I made it in my reusable Starbucks cup and went about maniacally laughing as I gained instant hipster cred without the carbs!

Alright so there’s just been a ton of people asking for my masterlists, and I know that being on mobile makes it difficult to find the lists, sooo I decided to put all of my scenarios here on this post for all the groups I’ve written for just to make things easier.

Also, just for future reference, if you’re on mobile, you can go to the “search” on my blog & type in the member’s name you’re looking for + “scenario” and all the things I’ve written for that member should come up [ex woohyun scenario”]

And if you’re ever looking for this masterlist, it should come up when you search “masterlist”

Alright, have a nice day, and I hope you enjoy reading~
