a fishing ape

Haley part two from Stardew Valley! She is a cutie pie! and up next is more pictures of my Penny cosplay! I wasn’t happy that I only got like two good pictures of my last shoot…maybe I’ll post more from my first shoot >.<. until then enjoy more haley>

(Edit I posted penny’s already before this) This whole cosplay is a closet cosplay and costed less than 5 USD excluding the wig and shoe. The shoes were 5 USD, and the wig was around 40 USD (real human hair is the reasoning) with added weave (real human hair)  of 20 USD.

Today I decided to work on my AP Biology summer homework. I like the book, so far I’ve learned that it’s about this paleontologist that was looking for a fish, and he discovered how a fish’s body is similar to our own. Also isn’t my succulent so cute!?

“I started to do stop-motion when I was a kid. You take a Super 8 and make some models, and move, click, move, click. All that. I love all forms of animation, but there is something unique and special to stop-motion: it’s more real and the set is lit like a set. But I think it’s also a kind of lonely and dark thing to want to do.” Tim Burton.

This question I have with Zootopia’s residence and the overall world of the movie.

How come the animals presented in Zootopia are filled with nothing but mammals and not with other types of animals like reptiles, birds ape, monkeys and insects as well as amphibians and fish living among them? I mean with all the talk about celebrating different kinds of animals it feels sort of half full since it doesn’t have other types of animals besides the furry kind presented here. I mean people have been griping about Disney using the same basic Disney design for it’s female characters yet I’m sitting here wondering why is it that we’re not seeing snakes and gators walking around the jungle district.

I’m thinking it could be the CGI budget but if someone knows the real reason for this and whatever or not it’ll be explored in future stories of Zootopia let me know because it’s a question I’ve been having since the first few clips and trailers shot out for the movie.

These are actually from my Penny shoot last year >.<. These are the ones I didn’t really like! But I’ll post them anyways! <3 I actually learned a lot from this shoot on how to deal with her wig! That’s the main reason *and also my shiny face* on why I didn’t really like any of the pictures. So next time I do better photos I know how to deal with her wig! I want to re wear her due to Miss Penny <3 That fanfiction is too cute! especially since I married Alex! But Until I get more pictures in here is some from my last shoot!

AP art!! Three of my concentration and quality pieces, I’ll put them on mugs or shirts or something one of these days (the first ones a magpie, the second one’s a fish crow, and the third one is inspired by how caledonian crows use sticks to poke grubs out of their holes)

I’m drawn to emotionally damaged characters because there is more to unlock.

Happy Birthday to the mad genius that is Tim Burton!

(August 25, 1958)

He had created some of my all time favorite movies such as BeetlejuiceEdward ScissorhandsCharlie and the Chocolate FactorySweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street & The Nightmare Before Christmas

Sometimes I like to pretend that Starbound is a post-Homestuck verse created by a sburb/sgrub session.

  • location-noun+’trapped’ descriptive name? (home-stuck, star-bound) Check
  • perfectly generic objects are an item you can make by mistake when messing with the code/rules of the game/by trying and failing to generate an item. Check
  • Multiple themed races that are all amusing in some way or related to meta-4th-wall-earth themes? (halloween trolls, leprechauns, etc vs planet of the apes, samurai fish people, literal space cowboys etc) Check
  • ‘sprite’ style side scrolling graphics game about fighting thematically generated monsters whilst simultaneously uncovering the secrets of the creation of the universe, defeating a great evil previously sealed away, and setting the playing field for all the races to live in harmony in future? Check
  • You’re jump-started onto your quest because the Earth is destroyed. Check
  • Colour themed artificial intelligence/game-coded npc accompanies you away from the earth and gives you obtuse advice and information somewhat relevant to your quest. Check
  • Ascends to god tier endgame. Check
  • Horrorterrors. Check

I’m sure there’s more but I don’t wanna dig around and get too specific. TLDR I wouldn’t consider it at all far-fetched if you wanted to play it that way.

Honestly I can relate with the whole my creation became a huge uncontrollable being of existence. I bought this fish pouch and within 5 minutes of being on my bus everyone on it began worshipping the fish now dubbed Fish Al Capone Manson III and like started chanting his name. I have a cult for a fish pencil couch. I have freshmen that were there randomly come up to me and ask "How is our Lord and savior?" Seniors ask for a fish blessing before AP Calculus tests. It's gotten out of hand.

Lord Al shall free us all from the prison of this earthly realm
