Because some men aren’t looking for anything logical, like money. They can’t be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn - Batman Begins (2005) The Dark Knight (2008) The Dark Knight Rises (2012)

Christopher Nolan explains why he likes to cover Tom Hardy’s face:

“I was pretty thrilled with what he did in The Dark Knight Rises with two eyes and couple of eyebrows and a bit of forehead. I thought let’s see what he can do with no forehead, no real eyebrows, maybe one eye. Of course Tom, being Tom, what he does with single eye acting is far beyond what anyone else can do with their whole body. That is just the unique talent of the man, he’s extraordinary.”

The Dark Knight trilogy - alternate posters! Available here

How y'all doin?! I’m not allowed to show anything I’m drawing, but I thought I’d share a fun little thing that I’m doing. I love this series called A Movie Poster a Day (google and check it out!). Anyways, it inspired me to do my own little series.

In the style of minimalist, retro/ vintage posters, I’ll find beautiful shots and imagery within the movie itself to showcase.

Every year, I took a holiday. I went to Florence, there’s this cafe, on the banks of the Arno. Every fine evening, I’d sit there and order a Fernet Branca. I had this fantasy, that I would look across the tables and I’d see you there, with a wife, and maybe a couple of kids. You wouldn’t say anything to me, nor me to you. But we’d both know that you’d made it, that you were happy.
