Worried about running out of ideas? How to figure out what to do next

Keeping up a content calendar can be a daunting task, especially if you’re on a smaller team. Maybe you’re looking over your content calendar and seeing that the next few weeks look slim, or you’re staring at a blank list intended to be filled with all of your new ideas for the rest of 2017.

Don’t panic! Here’s how you figure out what to do next when you’re worried that you’re running out of content marketing ideas.

Chances are you know or can quickly find out which of your posts are the all-time most popular on your blog. What common elements do your top performing content pieces share? You can start a list of new ideas building from that, but you can also think of ways to refresh the existing posts, depending on your resources.

Is there a new angle to write about the same topic? Maybe your audience has shifted and you can write about the same topic in a more polished way, or there could be a lot to update since the first time you wrote. It’s also possible you can tie an old evergreen post into a new trend— which will bring us to our next point.

if you actively chose to vote for a candidate YOU KNEW had no viable chance of winning, well-knowing that it would split the democratic vote and that the only other alternative to a democratic candidate is a demagogue who will cause MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of people to be in SERIOUS danger and you then have the nerves to hide yourself under the guise of being “progressive” or being “an idealist” then FUCK YOU. FUCK. YOU. there’s NOTHING “idealistic”, nothing “progressive” about disregarding other people’s safety, real people’s lives to such a staggering extent

if you voted third party, you’re a selfish overprivileged rat. if you voted third party, YOU VOTED FOR TRUMP. if you voted third party, and i’m gonna say this in the most cordial way i can muster, I HOPE YOU ALL CHOKE

The Slytherin common room and dormitories are located in Slytherin Dungeon. Students enter the Dungeon through a concealed stone wall.

Slytherin’s common room looks out into the depths of the Hogwarts lake. The Giant Squid and other interesting aquatic creatures often pass by the windows. It has the feel of a mysterious, underwater shipwreck, but it is still quite cosy.

Pet peeve when someone asks a blog something possibly dumb that might be common knowledge, and the blog starts their answer addressing the asker as “ignorant one” like fucking chill sometimes people just don’t know a thing, the fact that they are asking is usually a sign that they want to know and better themselves. Don’t shit on people for trying to learn

Anti-sjw are like the most boring people ever

Here’s the diverse range of topics the common anti-sjw blogs about

1) anti-social justice
2) anime tiddy
3) gun
4) patriotism+nationalism
5) capitalism

Such stale, crust-cut, white-bread topics. And even blander people.

For people who all cry about freedom of speech and respecting peoples opinions, they all look, sound, and think like clones of each other

how's the peepo doin?

Still inactive. I figured it would be too risky to have her potentially reform while I’m asleep and rampage through the off-limits part of house (nearly all of it), so in my efforts to keep her close I’ve contained her gem in a carrier next to me.

Its already been about a day. I’m not even sure if the cat actually did significant enough harm for her to take this long, so I’m hoping she’ll be out soon.

I’m gonna answer some questions while I wait. feel free to ask me more things.
