a breathtaking trip to that other side

anonymous asked:

top 5 (or 10) scenes in the 100 in terms of acting? (like, which scenes stood out to you, or which scenes do you think highlighted any of the actors' ability?)

This is such a good question! It’s hard to narrow them down to ten because there’s so many I love, but here are the ones that came to my mind first! So in no particular order:

1. Raven realising her pain is gone [3x05]

One of my all-time favourites! Moments after Raven succumbs to the temptation and takes the key to the City of Light, we get this spine-chilling shot where her revelation, her absence of pain starts at her leg and creeps up to the rest of her body. The entire scene, beginning with her taking the chip to here is absolutely stunning. Lindsey so beautifully straightens herself and looks up, and that’s when we know that Raven knows that it’s worked. It was executed so perfectly, kudos to the wonderful Lindsey Morgan!

2. Clarke scrubs at the blood on her hands [2x09]

Eliza’s performance in this scene really reminded me of Lady Macbeth from Shakespeare’s Macbeth, as she tried to scrub away the blood she was hallucinating (’Out, damned spot! out, I say!’). Taking place immediately after Clarke had mercy-killed Finn, Eliza perfectly displayed the hysteria of this moment as she shakes and raves incoherently. Her sharp breaths really encapsulate the trauma Clarke has just experienced too. It’s just beautiful.

3. Bellamy is overwhelmed by a sense of failure [4x07]

It’s really difficult to choose a scene with Bob Morley because each scene he acts in really does display how talented he is. Of course, the 4x04 scene where Bellamy realises Octavia is dead is breathtaking and still haunts me, but that’s a given, so I’m choosing another scene. This moment from 4x07 made me cry…a lot. As Bellamy had to sit and listen to people he could have saved die because he failed them, watch his gaze. He is not mentally there. His gaze is so very distant, it’s made to feel like he’s seeing all his failures play out before his very eyes. He breaks then and there as he’s forced to listen to the vocalisation of his failure, the nasty feeling settling deep within. Bob was fantastic through 4x07, but this scene really got to me.

4. Raven blows up the bridge [1x10]

I remember the first time I watched I Am Become Death, I fell in love with this particular moment in the episode. Raven staggers to the end of the bridge and, with the little energy she has left, successfully sets up and sets off the bomb. It was so wonderfully done by Lindsey, everything from the way she moved to the breaths she took was oh so perfect.

5. Clarke tells Bellamy that the world is ending [3x16]

This is one of my favourite Bellamy and Clarke moments – look how intense Bob and Eliza’s gazes are! They really do perfectly display just how exhausted Bellamy and Clarke are, and in finding out they can’t kick back just yet, we can see them search each other’s eyes for strength and hope.

6. Monty kills his mother [3x11]

Monty killing his mother was one of the most intense scenes I’ve ever seen on this show. Chris did such an amazing job with this…the screams Monty let out? They’re a vocalisation of just how traumatising this is for Monty, how he has to make noise, make chaos in order to pull back the trigger. And it was all so perfect. My heart broke when watching this scene, and even more so afterwards when Monty realised his mother’s death was sort of in vain because he might have been able to save her.

7. Pike and Bellamy talk about Mount Weather [3x04]

This scene between Michael and Bob is of the most fascinating from season 3. I was rewatching it and decided that I really did enjoy Pike’s character. The reason why this scene is in here is that we see, so perfectly from Michael, Pike locating Bellamy’s low point, and catches him when he’s weakest. @cosmicbell often labels Pike as a demagogue when we discuss this season together, and I agree. He promised action, he criticised stagnancy and Bellamy, somebody who’s been extremely affected by the grounders’ actions, was just tired of waiting around and never retaliating. He bought into Pike’s argument, and this is the scene that it occurs in. You see it in his face as Pike challenges him: ‘I’m willing to suffer the consequences to save my people…are you?’ and we know that Bellamy has begun to cross over to the dark side.

8. Jasper scatters Finn’s ashes [3x04]

I highly recommend everybody to rewatch this spectacular scene with Devon and Chris, from start to finish. It’s one of my favourites from the whole show. These two best friends have lost each other, and they’re trying to find that old spark once more. They fight, they argue, they yell. They’re no longer the pair they used to be. And as Monty leaves, Jasper screams ‘See you on the other side!’ and trips over, spilling the jar of ashes. The remnants blow away with the breeze, mingle with the Earth and Jasper realises what’s just happened…and Devon’s performance in that moment is so incredibly breathtaking. One of his best, for sure.

9. Murphy makes Clarke cry [4x08]

This is fairly recent, of course, but Richard and Eliza were amazing throughout this entire scene. Murphy’s desperation is so well voiced by Richard: when he screamed ‘I love her!’ my heart broke completely. And as Murphy starts provoking Clarke, I began to wonder how Eliza would portray Clarke’s reaction. Clarke, who has, in the past, tried to develop a harder exterior around her friends when making tough decisions…she did something I did not expect. She lifted her head slightly, and through her lashes looks at Murphy, and her eyes are glistening with tears! She’s been trying this whole scene to be assertive in her decision to use Emori but Murphy’s speech almost takes her to her breaking point. I was really impressed with both Richard and Eliza here, they were just amazing!

10. Niylah tells Bellamy that he’ll always be sorry [3x11]

Bob Morley, once again and as always, comes through perfectly in this scene he shortly shares with Jessica Harmon. ALIE got to Bellamy, and bad. ‘Too bad you were never that devoted to Gina.’? Do you know what Bellamy heard, instead of that? Probably something like ‘you could have saved her, but you spent that concern on Clarke, who didn’t even end up coming back to Arkadia with you. You killed Gina. You misplaced your responsibilities, so it’s your fault.’ And the final straw: the mention of what he did to the Trikru army, and Niylah hitting him after finding out. Bellamy flips out and has to leave the room, kicking a barrel, punching something. He looks up to the sky, so incredibly hopeless, and shakes his head. He’s realising he’s never going to get over this pain, he’s never going to stop feeling guilty, and worst of all, the pain he’s caused to others is so deep and so sharp and he can’t handle knowing that. He hears Niylah’s voice behind him, and the sight of her brings all these emotions back. He tells her what he truly feels, that he only had good intentions and he’s sorry, but she delivers a harsh sentence: ‘People like you always are’. This small moment between these two was jaw-dropping to me. I loved it so much.

Honourable mentions: Lincoln’s season 2 ordeal with the reaper drugs, literally all of Erica Cerra’s (ALIE/Becca) scenes, the Lexa and Roan fight from 3x04, Clarke getting in the rover with Jasper and discovering Abby is chipped, Luna mourning Derrick in her arms, Octavia surviving the fall in 4x04 and Abby smashing the radiation chamber in 4x08.

Endure - [NCT] Boyfie!Johnny

[A/N] Just… the amount of disrespect. I love pain.

Johnny is the kind of boyfriend that helps you find comfort in silence. Silence are rare momets for you because you just can’t stay still. But Johnny taught you just that. He’s laying on his back now, across the bed, scrolling his phone. You were laying on your stomach right next to him swiping pages on your iPad. Humming your current favourite song.

And even that changes every two seconds.

Johnny gave you an e-book to read. He says the story is good and wants to share them with you. Two pages in and you blinked your drying eyes, repeatedly. So. The main character wanted a trip to find herself. Now where have you heard of that before? Yawn.

‘Johnny…’ You whispered and he replied with a soft, ‘Hmm?’

Exposed: The NaruHina Troll

The TL;DR of this is, what happened on here is a lie. The girl exposed herself because no one besides me, @sasuke-prevails, @keepitmovinshawty, and @lilium-sns knew about her connections to the blog naruhinaislife. She tries to ruin my reputation and the reputation of the SNS and SS fandom, but she failed. Honestly, does she really think we are dumb enough to believe a suspicious side blog that actively cross-tags instead of bloggers like me and the ones I mentioned who are for years and years active in the fandom?

The blog narutocoupleconfessions, who allegedly gets SNS and SS hate, is melon-ellen. She also runs other blogs that are called naruhinaislife, anti-sakura-sasusaku, asianwaffle123, and probably bitchylovewonderland. I don’t know if she has more blogs, but it’s very likely. This girl sent hate to herself. Before that, she sent horrible fake SS hate to her other blogs in order to ruin the reputation of the SS fandom, doing the same on narutocoupleconfessions where she allegedly got attacked by SNS fans.

Making these posts.

She messaged me two days ago. Her blog naruhinaislife apologised to me (at 11:39 p.m.). I thanked her. Two minutes later (at 11:41 p.m.), I got a message from narutocoupleconfessions, giving me a compliment. Of course I thanked her too; however, I was suspicious. Both blogs followed me for exactly 17 days (yes, naruhinaislife, the girl who sent me NH hate and made the slut-shaming post about me, in fact, followed me).

Both blogs messaged me with a difference of two minutes. Both blogs had the same style of writing. Both blogs had the same theme. Both blogs hated SS and got apparently hate from the SS fandom. Both blogs seemed to cross-tag, naruhinaislife excusing it by claiming it was an accident.

Now, maybe it could be a coincidence, right? So I basically asked narutocoupleconfessions if she is naruhinaislife. She said it wasn’t her. We talked for a while—until naruhinaislife sent me a message. Then, narutocoupleconfessions stopped responding. At this point, I was sure both blogs are run by the same person, never mind the “coincidences.”

naruhinaislife said suddenly that she cannot follow me anymore and tried to follow me again.

She did so, but with one of her other side blogs, asianwaffle123.

That was when she accidentally exposed herself. I looked at this blog, and most of her posts were reblogs from her other side blogs (anti-sakura-sasusaku, melon-ellen, naruhinaislife and so on). I noticed that all these blogs often commented on each others’ posts, reblogging and liking them.

Hm, that’s weird, isn’t it? They all have a connection to one another, huh? And all of these blogs don’t have any mutuals in the fandom–besides themselves. I don’t want to assume anything, though is it wrong if I’d think she could’ve possibly sent the message to herself to ruin the reputation of the SS fandom and get more attention?

Later on, my friend @lilium-sns sent anti-sakura-sasusaku anonymously a message.

She thought it’s me, portraying herself as the victim by using sophistical tactics such as guilt-tripping and presenting one-sided information and lying. I never mocked her. I sarcastically implied repeatedly it’s a weird coincidence. She played along, acting like she didn’t understand. Apparently, she did understand it and lied to me. Furthermore, she didn’t text me that she follows me and other SNS blogs. She said, “I don’t want to sound creepy, but you are breathtaking,” or something along the lines. I can’t screenshot the conversation anymore since she blocked me.

My friend sent her a second message, saying that it wasn’t from me. What happens? A couple of minutes later, melon-ellen reblogs from her, although she wasn’t involved in the fandom for a long time.

I wonder why she didn’t answer yet to the message, huh? Maybe because she wants to portray me in a certain light, eh?

Again, some of her blogs got hate before, but it was allegedly from the SS fandom. anti-sakura-sasusaku for example. One time, I and @sasuke-prevails got a copy and paste hate message.

Or, the time I got hate from an Anon about NaruHina, just for naruhinaislife to slut-shame me and cross-tag. Why are they always connected to the hate?

My friend @lilium-sns took the screenshot on the left. You can clearly tell it’s from the same person since they use the same term(s) and are the only one that knew about the situation and wanted to push the narrative of the bad SNS fandom/bad SNS shipper.

I didn’t want to get involved at first, although she clearly attempts to harm me. Nonetheless, I believe this is important. No one from the SNS and SS fandom is sending her hate. Jeez.

Cyberbullying is something everyone needs to take seriously. I got cyberbullied several times, and people tried to suicide bait me at least seven times by now, telling me they wish I would get stoned to death because I’m a “fag.” Thus, I am the last person who would make light of this. But if you dedicated yourself to trolling, essentially harming the SNS and SS fandom, then I think I have a responsibility to warn my fellow shippers.

It would be best to report this person.

Ugh I can be on this blog all day I really love these imagines thingies. Here's my request if you dont mind! How would each of GOM+Kagami propose to their s/o? ^-^

(Also, thank you so much, dear!)

Kagami the bae: he’d be planning it for months, not quite knowing how to ask them at first. After a lot of researching and fretting, he’d invite them for a really fancy homemade dinner (made by him, ofc). After they’re finished, he’d want to take them to see the stars on his balcony (let’s all pretend he has a balcony), take a deep breath, and start babbling on about how amazing they are and how lucky he is to have them by his side. Shakily, he’d squat on one knee and propose to them with a red face. “_____, p-please marry me!”

Kuroko: he’d plan a very nice evening for the two of them before he actually proposes. He’d most likely invite them for a walk around Tokyo during Christmas time, doing some window shopping and drinking hot cocoa, talking quietly and sharing small kisses. Right when his partner is looking at all the lights with a peaceful expression, he’d get down on one knee and propose to them in the middle of the colorful lights and falling snowflakes. “You’re my light and my everything, and I want you to always stay with me. ____, please marry me.”

Aomine: I think he’d be the type to propose to them on a whim. He’d be doing something simple with them, like talking or just taking a walk through the park when they say something sweet with a smile. In that moment, he’d realize just how much he loves them and would blurt out “Marry me.” Of course, he’d be extremely embarassed and nervous as soon as the words leave his mouth, but he’d mean it with all his heart; there’s no one he’d rather spend the rest of his life with. Later on, he’d buy them a ring and propose properly.

Kise: he’d take them to a place they really liked and make it as romantic as he could. If they liked the beach, he’d take them to spend a whole weekend with him, just having fun. On the second and last day, though, he’d ask them to meet him for a special date on the beach, and when they get there, there’s a table with two chairs, candles and roses everywhere on the beach, a really cheesy sunset on the background. Without hesitation, he’d squat on one knee and propose to them with a bright smile, and might even get a little tearful. “There’s no one who makes me happier than you do, _____cchi.”

Midorima: he’d fret over it so much that Takao’d have to come to his rescue. After he calms down, he’d plan a dinner date on a really expensive restaurant, but he’d book the entire roof for only the two of them. When dinner starts, he’s a nervous wreck, but as dinner progresses and he sees his partner smiling and having fun, he’d get a determined expression on his face. A soft song starts to play, and he quietly asks them for a dance under the stars. When the song is over, he gets down on one knee and takes out the ring, confidently saying “I love you, ____. Marry me.”

Murasakibara: he’d want to do something nice to them before he proposes. He knows he isn’t an easy person do deal with, and he’s terrified of losing them. He’d think about it a lot before he decides to plan a really nice trip to somewhere nice. His partner would be even more surprised when they find out he planned it all by himself. I see them going somewhere cold, where after a couple of days sightseeing he’d take them aside one particularly cold day. After enjoying a delicious meal (again, that Mura himself prepared) he’d shuffle around a bit before taking the ring out of his pocket and holding it awkwardly. He’d end up hugging his partner really tight cuz he doesn’t want them to see his burning face. “____chin, let’s get married.”

Akashi: he wouldn’t hold back at all. He’d probably take them to a cruise around the world or something equally breathtaking. They’d spend most of the time talking and sharing kisses, and the more he looks at their smiling face, the more he knows they’re the one. Around midway into the trip, he’d call them to the deck, isolated during dinner time. He’d rest one hand on their waist and caress their cheek with the other, gazing softly at their eyes before he says “I do not want, nor do I need, anyone else by my side. Be mine forever, ____.”
