a beautiful moment in television

i love waking up to the knowledge that paul lost in back-to-back seasons with a 5-4 vote two times in a row, having his fate decided by someone who hated both of the final two with a passion but ultimately despised him more both times, sitting in the same chair in the same exact outfit, while the girl who cast the deciding vote the previous year and the girl he lost to the first time watched him from the audience, canoodling with the guy he screwed over to get to the final two the first time as one of (if not the most) hated houseguests of all time (raven) hung off of him stroking his arm incessantly while her supposed boyfriend stood no less than a foot away, and then he had to go home to face the repercussions of his blatant racism and bullying, while the two people he lost to enjoyed being iconic winners (nicole being the first woman in final two to win against a man, josh being the second ever POC winner) and their 500k

“It’s more that he cares for her, and I think he believes that somehow they must recognize that the other one cares. I’m sure she knows he cares about her. The fact that she tries to give him back the sword Oathkeeper and he kind of says, “It’s yours. It’s always been yours.” the subtext is it’s almost like saying, “You keep my heart. It’s yours. It’s always been yours.” It’s a beautiful moment”. - Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

I'm so slow at processing things...

5 hrs later the BBMA’s I began to cry meanwhile listening to 봄날 and realized that I just witnessed one of the most exciting and most beautiful moments in THOUSANDS even MILLIONS of people’s lives on TV.

This award is not just for us (ARMY), but for those 7 boys who became men right before our eyes.

They made history; from being the first Kpop group to be nominated, having the most votes and surpassing JB, to being the first Kpop group to win the TOP SOCIAL ARTIST AWARD!!!

Taehyung almost cried meanwhile standing on stage accepting the award, Yoongi immediately grabbed the award with a big smile on his face, Namjoon (from my perspective) was stuttering- not because of his bad English, because his English is better than mine- out of shock, and Chim, Kook, Jin, and Hobi were absolutely speechless.

They went through the hardest things in life from mental illnesses to leaving their families, being dead ass broke, and growing up under a spotlight; they deserve this award.

I’m glad to call myself an ARMY and be a part of this fandom watching our boys grow.
I’m proud of our boys and I’m 10000000% sure you are too.

Let’s continue flying with our beautiful wings.

wild idea

the Master can be both a “serious” villain and a meme loving fuck in the same way that this show has some of the most beautiful and profound moments on television as well as some of the most absurd

there are times to take Doctor Who seriously. anything that involves the Master pulling ridiculous shit is not one of them.

If I’m being entirely honest, not only is the FS scene from Tuesday’s episode my favorite FS scene ever, at least to me it’s probably the most beautiful moment in television history.

Just look at it. Every member of the team looks in at Fitz, and each one passes him by, unable to reconcile what they saw in the framework to who he really is.

But Simmons stops. She’s believed in him the whole time. She believed when he killed Agnes and Mace, she believed when he shot her, she believed when he told her she meant nothing to him, she believed when everyone else told her not to.

And when Fitz looks at Jemma, he thinks he sees someone who will never look at him the same way ever again. He can’t bear to look at her, see her disappointment. But when Jemma looks at Fitz, she knows she’s seeing the real Fitz- her Fitz- for the first time.

She comes in, she doesn’t say anything- what do you say to someone who’s lost so much?

Fitz starts to cry almost as soon as Jemma puts her hand on his shoulder, and it’s not like anytime he’s cried before. In the past, when Fitz has cried, it’s been mostly silent, a few tears running down his face, but in this moment when he cries he sobs. ( Note: this is the moment I also begin to cry.)
When she puts her hand on his shoulder, it’s become their little code- it means “I’m here for you”. Fitz is crying out of guilt and shame- after everything he’s done, she still believes in him? Simmons starts crying too, but not only out relief- the look on her face is of pain- she’s crying because she can’t bear to see him this way. (Another note: This is the moment where I have gone through an entire box of tissues)

Fitz is at his lowest point. He believes he’s lost everything that’s mattered to him- his genius has been used against him, he’s lost his friends, his goodness, Jemma- everything.

Then Simmons walks in. She puts her hand on his shoulder and holds him close to her, as if to whisper-“Not everything.

There’s one moment in Call the Midwife that gets me more than anything. It’s the moment Phyllis knows about Patsy and Delia, when she sees Pats levaing Deels room and doesn’t say a word, the fear for them that passes across her face and yet with a happiness, it’s like everything suddenly makes sense to her and you can hear her being stunned but thinking “poor things” and then her snapping to completely normal in front of Sister Winifred. I can’t watch it without getting emotional, it’s in my opinion, one of the most beautiful moments in TV

“His presence on the team increases every game. This is what it means to pitch like an ace.
