happy ending for everyone!

I’m just picturing professional baseball player Derek Hale getting heckled by a fan as he stands near third base.

Said fan is tall with mess brown hair and is wearing his hat backwards as he yells at Derek. Usually he just tunes it out, but this guy is cute and the way he waves his hands is kind of distracting.

It’s the top of the third and they’re already up by 5 runs so Derek allows himself to listen to the fan.

“Hale! Hale! I know you’re not a pitcher or a catcher but would you do either with me?”

Derek can feel his ears burning red and is very thankful that the fan can’t see it.

The next inning he hears, “Derek! You’re ass looks delightful in those pants.”

The game keeps going and the fan keeps yelling, he can’t even call it heckling, it’s more like the guy is hitting on him.

So the game ends and he’s signing some kids hats and taking pictures when he sees the guy standing a few rows back, a little smirk on his face when Derek catches his eye.

“Want an autograph?” Derek calls and he sees the guy step forward.

“Sure thing,” He said, holding out his hat. “Make it out to Stiles.”

“What’s a Stiles?”

“My name.”

Derek laughed and signed the hat, handing it back and grinning as Stiles saw the 7 digits on it, his eyes widening.

“That’s a phone number.”

“Yep.”

“I’ll call you then,” Stiles said, his eyes still wide.

And he did.

A few years later Stiles sat on the third baseline, hat backwards and a Hale jersey on. The game ended with a win for the Dodgers, Derek hitting a walk-off homer to win.

After the game he did his usual routine of signing autographs and then he walked over to Stiles, pulling him into a kiss for the whole world to see and then pulled out a ring.

Stiles obviously said yes and the proposal made the top ten plays on Sports Center, so did the walk off home run, but no one was talking about that.

“Prom was invented just to make girls starve so they can fit in a dress and compete over a stupid title.”

“Uh –” Derek blinks, eyes his sister dubiously, “I’m not a girl?”

Cora huffs. “Whatever.”

In the kitchen Laura bursts out laughing. “Don’t worry.” She yells. “Cora is just jealous she will have to wait five years to go to her own prom.”

“I’m not going!” Cora yells back. “Prom is stupid, I don’t even know why you’re going,” she tells Derek, “it’s not like you know how to have fun.”

Derek raises an eyebrow while Laura just laughs harder. “Oh my god.” Their older sister says. “I stay away for six months and Cora turns into a sassy queen.” She walks into the living room, pretends to wipe at her eyes. “I’m so proud.”

“You two are ridiculous.” Derek says, turning around. “And I’m just going because Erica promised to pay me. With ice cream.” Then he gives Cora a wicked smile. “That I’m not going to share with either of you.”

“You are the worst brother!” Cora yells as he begins to climb the stairs. “And I hope you fall on your ass while trying to dance!”

“Can’t hear you!” Derek’s cell begins to ring. “Too busy getting ready to prom!”

Laura lets out a high-pitched laughter. “I love you two so much.”

Derek shakes his head fondly, closes his bedroom door behind himself just as Cora tells Laura to shut up. “Hey.” He answers the phone, collapsing on his bed. “What’s up?”

“Yo,” Stiles answers, “whatcha doing?”

“Listening to my sisters fight.” He says, snorting when he hears his dad start complaining about all the yelling and ‘no, Cora, I’m not letting you go to prom, you’re thirteen!’. “I’m gonna have to check the trunk of my car tomorrow night.”

Stiles laughs. “She’s not that good.”

“If you keep teaching her, she will be.” Derek blurts out, curses himself mentally when he realizes it came out harsher than he intended.

It’s just – sometimes he can’t help it. He’s known Stiles since they were four, Cora wasn’t even born then, but one day she turned eleven and Stiles became her new favorite person. Stiles couldn’t find it funnier and took Cora as his little apprentice. He even taught her how to cheat on Mario Kart.

He’s never taught Derek that.

Derek rolls his eyes, thinks about his little sister still downstairs pouting and trying to convince their dad that she’s old enough to go out. He shouldn’t be jealous of her, but the thing is – he grew up with two sisters, he knows how to share toys and food, but he doesn’t know how to share Stiles.

Because Stiles is his.

In another life….

In another life Stiles rolled over and the bed was still warm from where Derek had been sleeping just minutes before. The house smells like coffee and he can hear Derek talking to the dog while he makes breakfast.

In another life Derek throws his head back in a laugh when Officer Stiles Stilinski accidentally set his fire alarm off one night while making popcorn and offers to teach him some fire safety tips when he’s off duty.

In another life two grad students bond over their TA positions and how much extra work they have. Stiles ends up bringing Derek a coffee the next morning and the rest is history.

In another life Stiles falls for the tattooed barista. It turns out he’s a writer and the tattoos are for his family that died. It turns out they both found each other when they needed someone the most.

In another life professional baseball player Derek Hale ends up falling for a up and coming ESPN reporter. When he retires 15 years later he’s happily married to him and they cohost a new show for the network.

In another life.

In another life they’re happy. In another life Derek stayed. In another life there are no werewolves and no dead family members.

In another life Derek wakes to the sound of laughter and tiny feet.

In another life Stiles catches a serial killer and goes home to his bearded husband making him dinner.

In another life.

In another life.

But not in this life… at least not yet.

When I moved to L.A., I got this pilot and went and got spray tanned. I was playing a baseball player, so I was sweating a lot, so during the shoot, the spray tan was coming off of me. I looked like a total fucking douchebag. I looked in the mirror afterwards and said to myself, “No matter what, never do this again.” My older brother always says if I had his looks, my career would [have taken off sooner]. But I have no interest in being pretty.

“And Jeon Jungkook is getting ready to take the next ball. One more home run, and this came is over. All the plates are empty – will he be able to make it?”

The entire arena cheered his name along with the cheerleading squad which belonged to the team containing the star baseball players of Korea, BTS. Not only were their visuals amazing, but they were all-stars, especially the main batsmen, Jeon Jungkook.

“Takada Naoki is getting ready to bowl, and–” There was a thunderous ‘bang’ which irrupted from the bat of the brunet. “Amazing hit!!”

The crowd went wild as the player immediately dashed off the home plate. You cheered from your stage along with your group of girls – maybe you weren’t the main cheerleader, but you tried your best, kicking and waving your white and blue pom-poms from your position on the side.

“Jungkook! Jungkook!”

The entire stadium chanted as he made it to third base, the Japanese team finally getting the ball, ready to pass it to the keeper. All the cheering stopped for a moment as soon as the ball was in the air, breaths being held in anticipation. The male soon slipped into home base as the ball was caught, the referee bringing the whistle to his lips.

A/N:  My sincere apologies for how long this has taken.  I’ve been dealing with some personal things and, quite frankly, it took away all desire to write.  I hope you like this chapter, the photo with the shield later on in the story is actually the inspiration for the entire series.  So you can get inspiration from anywhere :)  I want to thank everyone who stuck around waiting and who has been so helpful and kind to me.  Also, I’m very excited to continue writing more chapters!  Thank you for your continued patience.

As always, feedback is always appreciated.  Please let me know how the ‘action’ plays out as I am always looking for ways to improve my storytelling.  Thanks!

Your face fell in horror, but you seemed to be the only one moving, the rest of the world seemed to be stuck in some sort of time lapse.  Bucky was still just crouching there, holding the boy, with that stupid, beautiful smile still plastered to his face, not yet seeing the danger, not yet registering your alarm.

No no no no no no NO!  Your mind was screaming the words as you tore your gaze away from the scene.  The man was getting closer.  NO!

You bolted forward, shoving the woman into the alley screaming for Bucky to run, ripping your vocal chords in the process. Your legs felt like they were trudging through molasses, like some force was pulling you back, weighing you down. And each step on the pavement felt like an elephant stomp making the ground shake.  But it was as if you weren’t moving any closer.  But you had to.  You had to.   Because what was about to happen could. not. happen.

An AU where Tony is dragged to a baseball game by Rhodey and Pepper so he can finally spend a day out of his workshop. He’s so reluctant to go because there are several projects that he needs to finish, it’s boiling hot outside and he doesn’t even like baseball that much. But he ends up seated in the stands, wearing a baseball hat and frowning like this the worst thing in the world.

The game starts and he’s seated right in between the two who scream and shout along with the rest of the crowd. Rhodey, who spots the sulking Tony, nudges him and grins at him while telling him to have fun. Tony is about to tell her how on earth he can enjoy himself but he stops mid-sentence when he sees a certain baseball player run out onto the field.

He’s tall with a strong build, broad shoulders and a narrow waist with an ass that looks so firm and round that it’s lethal, especially in those white pants. They’re sitting close enough for Tony to make out the little bit of blond hair that peeks out from underneath his cap and eyes that look so very blue, it’s insane.

And as if they’re in some cliche romantic film, the baseball player looks up and Tony almost kicks himself when their eyes meet. He repress the deep urge to groan when the man suddenly smiles, almost shyly, and waves. Then he goes back to concentrating on the game but Tony can’t stop the weird feeling in his stomach, a type of feeling that all warm and tingling and that he hasn’t had in such a long time.

“See someone you like?” Pepper asks, lips curving into a knowing smile.

Tony, trying to play it cool and willing for the heat in his cheeks to go down, fakes a cough and is suddenly finding the seat in front of him very interesting.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about it.” He replies, only getting a snort from Rhodey and a laugh from Pepper for his troubles.

(I need Tony and professional baseball player!Steve meeting and falling in love).

Not My Girl (Jeff Atkins x Reader)

Request: Anon- Jeff request please! “She’s not my girl”, could you make it like something reader overheard? For example she passes her friends, the jocks, on the way to class. But not before she heard Justin say something like, “look Atkins, it’s your girl” And she get’s upset because they’re not dating, but they’re not not-dating either. And she’s upset and mad at school, but he’s her ride home. Then in the car, could reader be petty at first like Jeff asking, bad day at school/practice? And she’s like nope! And he puts his hand on her thigh when he’s driving as she pulls away so he’s like “oh so you’re mad at me?” And he won’t leave until she tells him.

Warnings: None I don’t think. A little swearing, Justin being kinda pervy, Jeff being too adorable for words. I think that’s it.

A/N. Thanks for the request! I’m sorry this took me so long, but I loved writing this one :) I summarized the request, but I feel like I got the gist. I should be answering requests a little more frequently now that I’m getting back in the flow so feel free to keep sending them in. Alright guys, you ready? Enjoy!

(Y/n) hummed to herself as she walked down the hallways, practically skipping as she made her way towards her second period class, weaving through the crowded hallways that usually angered her without a care in the world. She had crashed at Jeff’s last night, after a Fast and Furious marathon had run late, and had skipped first to go home and shower. She had been thinking about skipping the whole day, but she had a chem test in third and couldn’t afford to miss it.

Even the thought of covalent bonds couldn’t dampen her good mood. Things had finally happened between her and Jeff last night. The movie marathon had begun as a friend thing, with Clay, Hannah, and Tony over as well to spend the rainy day watching television and hanging out. As the day had changed to night, first Tony, then Hannah and Clay had excused themselves to finish the last of their weekend homework and get to bed early, leaving (y/n) alone with Jeff. He had merely shrugged once the others had left, flashed a breathtaking smile, and asked if she wanted pizza or chinese for dinner.

The two had been casual friends forever, the way kids in small towns all knew each other, but over the last few months (y/n) had noticed things start to change between her and Jeff. He was no longer the awkward, gangly kid with braces who collected baseball cards, and she was pretty sure he had felt the shift too. Suddenly there was a lot more touching, a lot more teasing, late nights spent texting and lunch periods spent sharing inside jokes. It was amazing. Everyone else had begun to notice too, teasing the both of them about the flirting and the ‘eye sex’, which they both resolutely denied. If anyone asked, they were just friends. But obviously (y/n) wanted more. And she was sure Jeff did too.

You were stumbling a bit as you stood in the middle of the gym and in front of one of the jocks of Liberty High, your date for the Winter Formal, Montgomery. His hand was laying way too close to your butt for your liking as the two of you swayed to the upbeat music playing, but the alcohol in your veins told you that it wasn’t anything to worry about.
