if you HAD to, which of the fierce deities on tumblr would you marry?

❝Sweet mother of Hylia have mercy…

ok jaanu rant, sorta

you know what i fail to understand about ok jaanu now that i’ve watched ok kanmani? how are they planning to pull this film off i mean like….bruh this movie’s bound to flop the original is rife with cultural references i mean they literally met and got close because they were the only tamilians in bombay that they actually knew each other and the whole soundtrack has all these karnatic tracks, bhavani’s a karnatic singer, there’s this defined parallel between the conservative karnatic-background old couple between the new live-in relationship couple that mix and understand each other’s ways and pick up bits and pieces from i.e tara’s singing for bhavani auntie and how adi’s learning about the pros in marriage and stuff. there’s all the this important background material that creates the somewhat clash-like world of ok kanmani that makes the movie so rich as well i don’t see any of that in ok jaanu

plus they oversexualized the movie so much i mean what were they even thinking i mean god it’s like a mess bro i mean the humma song literally looks like they’re going to pound each other and then parandhu sella va is all like cutesy cuddles and lil kid jumping and then them just calling it a day as sleeping i don’t remember tara pushing adi down w her foot sexually anywhere like hmmmmm idk man stop sexualizing things k thanks

love, sravya

Dear EYEWITNESS fandom,

let’s talk about ratings for a moment.

Following you’ll see the ratings for the second season of “Mr. Robot” - one of USA Network’s most highly-promoted shows:

Notice something? Right - season 2 was a bumpy ride ratings-wise, and at times the show’s weekly viewership was even less (or more or less the same) than what “Eyewitness” has right now. Know something else? “Mr. Robot” has been renewed for a third season despite those not-too-stellar ratings (and despite having only half as many viewers now as it had in season 1). Also, as you can see, ratings are far from 1 million per episode.

Now let’s look at the ratings for “Eyewitness”:

Now, “Eyewitness” took a pretty big hit in the weeks following after the pilot episode, but ratings have increased visibly since then. Yes, we lost 1% with episode 9 but then again “Eyewitness” went directly against “The Walking Dead” so that’s probably not even too bad. I mean, the showrunner doesn’t seem to be too concerned about this minimal drop:

The reason I’m making this post is because I’ve seen people lose faith and want to give up just because they think that we’ll never hit 1 million viewers next Sunday (probably true) and that there won’t be any chance for a second season then (not true). Fact is, ratings are important when a network decides whether to give one of their shows another season. Fact is also, ratings aren’t the only deciding factor. Aaaand, another fact - USA is a small network and has several shows that have an average weekly viewership below 1 million. Because of that, it is actually possible that they will order a second season of “Eyewitness” even if ratings don’t reach 1 million.

And this is why we need to keep fighting for season 2. It’s why we should keep promoting the show as much as we can, keep tweeting @USA_Network until they see nothing but “Eyewitness” on their timeline, keep leaving comments on their Facebook page, and push for another ratings boost on Sunday. Get everyone you know to watch live or DVR and watch it the next day, buy episodes on iTunes or Amazon Video, or stream it on the app or USA Network website within 24 hours of air time!

Like Adi said — let’s go out with a bang!!!!
