In the original Guilty Gear, if Eddie Zato sets a drill and then throws the opponent so that they get hit by it mid-throw, Zato gains the ability to cancel his throw animation into any of his special moves. Doing this freezes the opponent in place until Zato throws them again.

Drawn sometime around 2008. Despite my love of Guilty Gear, and the fun I have when drawing, this is one of the very few pieces I’ve ever finished and got printed. This is probably because, as a few of you may have already surmised, I have a dickens of a time ever actually finishing anything that I start. To this day, I don’t know why.
And also despite my pride in this piece, due to it’s finished status, and it’s coming from a time period where I feel I was at my peak of skill, I just don’t advertise it very much. That’s likely because I heavily referenced the body positions from someone else’s work, and I can no longer remember whom, and I’m embarrassed about it.
