Yosemite-Half-Dome

Mist rises from Ahwahnee Meadow on a cold winter morning in Yosemite National Park, creating a dreamy blue scene. While Half Dome wears a light dusting of snow, other areas of the park received more than 200 inches – or almost 17 feet – so far this winter! There’s still time to enjoy snow-dusted views and winter activities before warm weather arrives. Photo courtesy of Douglas Croft.

Nature’s Gold - Half Dome, Yosemite National Park, by VMoments

I reach this spot by Merced river much before sunset. So I had a lot of time to enjoy golden hues the setting sun was casting. The light on half-dome was in complete contrast to the rest of the scenery which was almost black & white - Nature’s light magic I experimented a bit with the exposure time and I liked this image which has bubble streaks formed by the slow moving river.
