I FINALLY got to sit and watch the movie and the OVA (yeah, yeah, ooold) and they’re both fun and cool (although sometimes too silly) but you know what REALLY bothered me about the movie? where the hell was the background music??? really, there were tons of scenes with no music at all, even funny scenes. very little songs building up to the fights, except perhaps for the last one. that’s really important in a movie/series/whatever you know? it helps to set up the feelings for the events. I loved dbz soundtrack, it carries the spirit of the show (like any good ost)! even the OVA featured the usual bgm, geez
about the silliness, considering the movie was, well, a movie, streamed in the cinemas worldwide (which was great) it should have been less silly, huh? the comedy fitted the OVA well, the kids were the ones fighting, but the film was like “new dbz movie with new transformation and super powerfull god warrior” and then… I mean, I did laughed out loud quite some times and it does have great stuff there but they could have cut some joke time to feature more fights you know? so many warriors there just being funny…oh well. but seriously. bgm.
p.s.: It’s so weird to watch DBZ in such bright colors! specially when they go SS - it’s just so…yellow XD
