I love cliche tropes. And imagine a mix of those with childhood friends, mutual pining, memory loss, (one trick the other to be in a) fake relationship (just because it might be the only chances of them to know how it feels to be with the other) with their first kiss, first time together, the breakdown when the person regains their memory before the final happy ending. What a beautiful mess.

When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you’ve written, then pass on to at least five other writers (◠‿◠✿). Do multiple fandoms if you want!

I was tagged by the wonderful @thestanceyg who I still love for all her Darcy/Sam fics.

Let’s see…in no particular order:

  1. Down in New Orleans (Darcy/Remy LeBeau): The fic that made me fall in love with Remy as much as anyone else. Seriously. Like, I enjoyed the first prompt that I wrote. And then the sequel to that pulled me a bit further. But this. Sent me toppling headlong. I still can’t get his voice out of my head and am tempted to by X-Men Origins: Wolverine every time I see it just so I can have more Taylor Kitsch as Remy in my life.
  2. Bippity Boppity Boo (Darcy & Phil): I freaking love me some Phil Coulson. And with this one, I spent the whole time thinking “how could this be more hilarious” and went with it. Close to crack fic for me, but fun. Also, slated for a sequel. I know, I’ve been promising it for a while, but guess who finally got inspiration!!!
  3. An Animal Who Dreamed He Was a Man (soulmate short Darcy/Victor Creed)Because this one was where I attempted to redeem a villain, and I thought it came out well. It didn’t hurt that I was working with the mental picture of Liev Schreiber for inspiration. No offense to the other guy who played Sabretooth, but I really hate mutton chops as a general rule.
  4. Killer Fashion (Darcy/Bucky): The clothes. Oh, how I love the clothes and admitting how they can really influence you. So this was a good one for me to research and dork out about. And trying to shift between Darcy’s voice and Bucky’s was a good exercise for me and a learning experience.
  5. Things You Said While We Were Dying (Darcy/Steve): Angst guys. You know me. I hardly ever do angst. But this, man, this just flowed when I went to write it. And then it easily led to more. And is soon leading to more. Also, it introduced me to the joy of seeing comments like “My heart.” and “How dare you!”

And you alls know me. I can’t tag. Too stressful. So, if you write some fic, tag yourself and say it was me. I don’t care what you write, if you write it, you’re a writer and should share it with whoever you please!
