Lottie and Sophia out in Buffalo | 02.08 Wearing this ribbed crop top (£24) from Topshop, these jean shorts ($58) from American Apparel, this printed backpack ($895) from YSL and a pair of sunnies almost identical to these ones from D&G.
Here are some products that I have been really enjoying over the month of August!
Bath & Bodyworks Body Mist ‘Velvet Sugar’ I discovered the store Bath & Bodyworks for the first time when I was in America… and I cannot believe I had never been there before considering how frequently I travel to the US. I am OBSESSED with all of their products! I know this is old news for Americans, but we have nothing like this in Australia and I am a sucker for these kinds of things. I did buy a whole bunch of stuff from their, but my favourite of all time in the Velvet Sugar range. It smells sweet and beautiful and I just love it, and I will definitely be buying it every time I visit the States. $14.00USD
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer ‘Neutral’ I have never really used concealers much in my foundation routine but I wanted to try some different concealers to help cover up any circles under my eyes and any blemishes which I normally get on my cheeks. I really love this concealer, its thick and it blends in very well, plus it covers up any imperfections! I really love the applicator too - it helps spread the concealer out evenly. I will be repurchasing this in the future, and it is relatively cheap. I can’t remember how much I paid for it, but I got mine from CVS.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo Metal Eyeshadow ‘70 Barely Branded’ These colour tattoo metal eyeshadows are really great as a base colour for any eye look you’re doing. I especially love this shade for a natural eye look - it just completes the look and makes the colours pop. You can buy all different shades from any drugstore or Priceline. $8.00USD at CVS.
YSL Black Opium Perfume One thing I love about Sephora is that they sell small purse sized perfumes - not that I take mine in my purse, but I like that I can buy a smaller sample size so I can test out whether or not I like it before committing to a huge bottle of perfume that can be very very expensive. In saying that, I adore this new perfume by Yves Saint Laurent and I will probably buy the bigger bottle when I finish this tube. Its absolutely beautiful and subtly sweet which is what I love. I would recommend for anyone looking for a new scent! $25.00USD at Sephora.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme ‘Morocco’ I know I have featured these lip products on my blog before but since then I have bought a few more shades and this one is my absolute favourite. I can honestly say it is almost a dupe for MAC’s ‘Lady Danger’ lipstick. In fact, I actually wore it into MAC store recently and the employee thought I was wearing their shade. It lasts all day, the pigment is amazing and it doesn’t feel incredibly drying which I know a lot of liquid lipsticks can be. I’ll always recommend these lip cremes but highly recommend this colour if you’re looking for a good, affordable orange lippie! $7.00USD at CVS - $12.00AUD at Target
