Zen Themes Site Relaunch 3.0

Last Tuesday, our partner site Zen Themes relaunched with a completely new logo, branding, and website. Zen Themes is one of the leading free Tumblr theme providers. Started in 2013, Zen Themes has continuously released incredible and intuitive designs of theme templates parallel with robust coding.

The owner, Jen Yuan, explained that with the relaunch, Zen Themes sets out with a new direction, to promote the idea that web design has the same creative capacity as fashion, films, music, and any other forms of art.

To take the idea into effect, with it’s new theme release Level, Jen explored the theory of the level system of art, while incorporating inspirations from what he experienced during his first longterm stay in New York City. And with his most current theme Pation, he incorporated the idea that every opinion we have is subjective and biased. Each and every one of us will see the same thing from a different angle due to our own backgrounds and life experiences, which is the inspiration behind the randomly generated grid layout.

Take a look at the freshly redesigned site here, find the collection of Tumblr themes here, and follow along the progress of Zen Themes on the blog.
