Watch me lose followers over this

I know a bunch of my followers are going to hate me for saying this, but I tried watching Steven Universe because everyone said it was so good, and I just couldn’t get into it. Steven is way too annoying and got on my nerves from the get go. I got pretty far into it and kept waiting for it to get better and it never did and I just couldn’t take Steven anymore. It’s unfortunate, I really like the other gems though. Give me a show with just them and I’ll watch it. Also maybe I’ll try Gravity Falls next and be less disappointed. I like to know what new things people are losing their minds over.

“Jughead” Follows Through with Zdarsky’s Promise, Identitfies as Asexual in Issue #4 - Comics Resources

“My view of Jughead is, over the 75 years [of his existence] there have been sporadic moments where he has dabbled in the ladies, but historically he has been portrayed as asexual,” Zdarsky said at an “Archie”-themed panel at NYCC. “They just didn’t have a label for it, so they just called him a woman-hater. But he’s not a misogynist – he just watches his cohorts lose their minds with hormones. People have asked me if there is going to be a romance if I’m writing Jughead, because I’m very romantic, and the answer is no, because there is enough of that in Archie. I think something like asexuality is underrepresented, and since we have a character who was asexual before people had the word for it, I’m continuing to write him that way.”

“There are people out there, and they come up to me in conventions, because I work on another book that involves sexuality [‘Sex Criminals’], and that’s one of the questions we get all the time. [There are] a lot of asexual readers, and they want representation,” he continued. “We want to put out a book in which people that aren’t necessarily represented enough in media can see themselves reflected in it in a positive way, so if you have an opportunity presented on a silver platter like Jughead, really, I feel like your responsibility is to go with that and serve that underrepresented reader.”

“It seems like his take was always it’s a waste of money to go on dates, not so much that like he hated women. Because he always hung out with Betty. They were always friends,” added Henderson.

“Jughead” #4 goes on sale Wednesday, February 10.

This makes me inordinately excited. Sure, there’s been other asexual characters who haven’t been portrayed as socially detached, emotionally damaged jerks unable to connect to the rest of humanity on any level, but they’re almost all minor characters with minor mentions in lesser known pieces of media. Jughead is a character that everyone and their granddad knows, not a recently introduced one or an obscure one in comics. So I can point to him and just say “That. It’s like that. I’m like that guy.” and J. Q Public on the street is going to know what the fuck I’m talking about. I’M A LITTLE EXCITED OKAY.

The link says they come out on the 10th, so if they’re physically in my local Ye Olde Comick Shoppe I’m grabbing them.

If anything Jughead’s far more the archetypal asexual than Sherlock or Sheldon Cooper. He’s far more interested in food than in romantic pursuits, socially adept but having trouble understanding that very specific aspect of social expectation, not as much terrified of intimacy as he is bored by the concept, and somewhere in between bemused and slightly derisive of the pretzels his colleagues tie themselves up in trying to achieve romantic and/or sexual goals.

I mean that’s basically me right there.

@jackieleeyoung’s #LocalLens: Austin Erupts with SXSW Energy

In this series, local Instagrammers show you their favorite places to shoot around where they live. To see more of Jackie’s photography all around Austin, follow @jackieleeyoung.

Photographer Jackie Lee Young (@jackieleeyoung) can’t get enough of Austin, Texas, the city she calls home. “The creativity and originality alive here is uplifting, and the artist community supports each other,” she says. “The love is real!” When #SXSW rolls around every year, the energy of the festival transforms Austin. “The air gets a little electric for a good three and a half weeks,” Jackie explains. “I love discovering new bands, watching people lose their minds over the popular ones and seeing bands from places unknown that blow your mind. For me, that was Courtney Barnett (@courtneymelba) last year!” Jackie’s favorite local spot to hear live music? Hotel Vegas. “It is always welcoming no matter the show,” she says. “It is where dirty rock and roll should be seen, no doubt about it.”

Here, have some pics where I don't look too bad. Let's see how many people will unfollow me and my sass.

On my mom’s PC…

Like a boss dork.

Weird light behind me is weird.

And the obligatory GET IN MY PANTS, MR. LETO pic, that made me lose like 5 followers in 2 mins when I posted it few weeks ago. Ahur.

And yes, I’m 28. And no, I almost never wear makeup.

You can’t handle it.

I swear to god some of this fandom is so immature.

It’s not funny to make fun of someone? I thought that was just a common rule but obviously some people don’t understand it. Calling Dan names and being rude to him so much that he regrets posting a selfie is so disgusting. Grow up and get over yourselves. My God.

I might lose some followers, but heh...

I’m having a bit of a weird emotional Jared phase today, which I’m not quite fond of ‘cause I don’t know how to deal with it… the man’s been killing me both with his sexiness and his inner beauty intensely for days now… and I have reached the melting point. Maybe it’ll pass…

There are so many things that I feel like saying, why I love the Echelon as much as I do, but I probably shouldn’t be saying it in the state that I’m in right now. I’ll just sound pathetic.

And I’m not too comfortable with Rick Genest on my dash, sorry to say. It’s just an opinion that I am entitled to. He makes me panicky.

There’s been lots of drama in the Columbine Community recently so I just wanna voice my thoughts on all of this.

We are all here because we have a interest in Columbine. Some of us may know more than others, but that doesn’t give you the right to say that you’re more of a “Columbiner” than anybody else. It’s not a competition. I recently saw a post saying that the community is being over taken by “fangirls” who “don’t know anything” about Columbine. Just because somebody wants to put a flower crown on Dylan’s head that doesn’t mean they don’t know anything about Columbine. I have never seen a Columbine blog on here that’s uneducated on the case. Some people prefer to reblog “professional” things like evidence while others prefer to reblog edits. The way we display our interest (idk how else to word that) doesn’t interfere with how much knowledge we have on the case.

It is okay to visit Columbine, it’s a public place and there’s a memorial there for a reason, but don’t hang around the actual school too much. Just remember that the memorial was built to remember the massacre while the school was built to educate kids. Be respectful, don’t litter, don’t yell, don’t make jokes, and don’t pose for a picture while pretending to hold a gun.

It’s okay to drive past the Klebold and Harris homes, but that’s it. Don’t loiter, don’t take pictures, don’t try to look inside the house, just drive past. Those houses are private property. You’re allowed to drive/walk past them, but that is all.

For the people who claim to talk to the spirits of Eric and/or Dylan: I’m not saying you’re faking it, but some people don’t believe in that stuff and I imagine that it’s very annoying for them to be scrolling through their feed to see people saying “oh I’ll ask Dylan that later” or “they’re my friends”. And if you are faking it, that is very disrespectful. I believe that humans can interact with spirits, but that doesn’t mean I believe every single person who claims to talk to Eric or Dylan. If you constantly talk about how you’re “friends” with Eric and Dylan, most people won’t believe you because of your need to show it off. I’m not saying all, but a lot of you are doing it for attention (even if you really do talk to them, you’re still trying to get attention by constantly blabbing about it every chance you get). Keep it to yourself because most of us don’t want to see it. I usually ignore it but I have been seeing it all the time lately. It’s like its becoming a trend or something. But really, nothing against the people who actually talk to them, just the people who fake it for attention (and the ones who feel the need to constantly talk about it).

Write about a character who witnessed the end of the world… and survived. Explore their point of view as they watch over the remains of their city. How much did they lose? Are they all alone? And, worst of all, do they think that there is hope for the future?

A Night In - Luke (Smut)

You and Luke laid in bed cuddled up, watching a movie on TV. He pauses it as he phone begins to ring. You see “Ashton” wrote across the screen in big white letters. “Babe, can’t you just call him back later?” You say hushed with a sigh. He looks at you and shakes his head no, “It might be about work…” He answers it rolling over on his side, his back facing you. You scoot up closer to him, wrapping your arm around his stomach. You can hear more than one voice on the other end of the phone, boys. “Babe, who are you talking to?” He puts his hand over the phone and turns his head to the side, “Ashton, Calum, Michael and Niall. Game night at Ashton’s.” You roll your eyes to yourself, knowing they’re persuading him on the other end to come join. With tour going on, Luke barely has any days off to spend some alone time with you and tonight was one of them. You come up with a plan that you know he couldn’t resist, to stay.

I’m thinking Michael’s pilot clue is not about the love story (Girl Meets World) @GMWWriters @BlutmanMark

So I went back and re-watched the pilot episode over again for the 100th time (Shout out to the writers they are doing a fantastic job at making me lose my mind LOL) and I think I could have possibly figured out what Michael means when he says it all started in the pilot. We all know that Michael’s hints are usually said in a way that it throws people off. I am beginning to think he wants you to think it’s about the triangle but it’s simply not. There is a scene in the class room where Cory says the following line when discussing the Civil War:

“So, we were indeed trying to find out who we were, as a people. Who am I? What should I be? History shows that bad things happen when you don’t know who you are.”

This is what the storyline is about you guys .Finding yourself. These characters need to find themselves before they think about love. Do I think Riley and Farkle are going to end up together? Yes I do think that somewhere down the line that they will. Do I think Lucas and Maya are going to be together? Yep I totally do otherwise they wouldn’t be building this storyline up right now. Finding yourself is a part of growing up guys. We all go through a point in our life where we need to find ourselves and that point is usually in High School. You’re first love, trying to figure out what you want to be when you go into college. So I think this is what it is. :)

Matt Espinosa 11: "Come over here and make me.”

Person: Matt Espinosa Prompt: 11. “Come over here and make me.” Requested By: Anon Warning: None? All of us were just hanging out at Matt’s house just having some fun. After binge watching movies we started to get bored until Aaron suggested we play some would you rather. We al agreed so we made a circle in Matt’s room and started. “Okay… Aaron would you rather lose your followers on all social medias or lose all your post on all social medias?” Matt asked. “Easy, posts.” A few comments were shared until Aaron started to ask the next one. “Y/n, would you rather Tell your crush you like them or never date again.” “Tell my crush I like them.” “Why don’t you? Right now.” Matt says. They all start chanting me to do it. “No, I won’t.” “Please Y/n! Please!” “Come over here and make me. That’s the only way I’m saying anything.” “I think that can be arranged” he says. He comes over to where I was on his bed and jumps on me and starts tickling my sides. The laughs just start falling from my mouth as he continues. “Stop it Matt!” “Tell us!” “Fine if you stop I’ll tell.” “Fine.” He says letting me go. “Okay the truth?” “Yes, who is this dude?” “This dude is you.” I say. It doesn’t register to him for a minute so he starts up a laugh till he stops abruptly asking “wait, what?” “I said the guy is you.” The room got quiet all of a sudden and Matt has a look of confusion spread on his face. Soon it was replaced with a smile and he jumps on me again. But this time instead of tickling me he kisses me.

Clearly I watched a completely different episode

Was my daiquiri stronger than I thought? Did I fall asleep and dream an episode that while not epic, was certainly better than the one that had me in the fetal position last week. A couch and a massage….Lizzy it’s time for that restraining order because Red’s stepped over the line.

Edit: This is me being sarcastic so if you’re on team Red’s being too pushy that’s great but I’m on team yeah he can be a little pushy but better an alive Lizzy than the alternative. Sorry but a couch and a massage does not rise to stalker level imho. Granted Red could have talked to her about Baz and the cameras but she keeps telling him to get lost so he put her safety first. He’s the only man in her life to do this so I’m still on Team Red.
