The Fantastic Zephyr Land Yacht - Designed by Brooks Stevens in 1936 for millionaire playboy Bill Plankinton. The tractor served as the living quarters for the driver and valet. The trailer slept nine comfortably, and include a shower bath, kitchen facilities and the latest in radio equipment. The Zephyr Land Yacht was one of the earliest known RV-Style trailers. 1959 Firebird III - Designed by Harley Earl and engineered by General Motors. Inspired by innovations in fighter aircraft design, the Firebird III was used as a showcase car at the Motorama auto show to demonstrate the extremes in technology and design that General Motors was able to achieve.
