Okay, so you’ve probably seen this post where I asked for young POC with artistic talents for a magazine. Now that so many people have contacted me, me and cynthiabgentry are ready to receive your submissions! If you want to be part of our team or contribute to the magazine, which is called Jaded Magazine, please keep reading.
All submissions MUST go to email@example.com! Please only send your email ONCE. You can only submit for at most two different sections, and you must include in the subject line of your email that you’re applying for two (i.e. Art - Illustration and Writing - Poetry). Please note that you’re submitting for our consideration, this does not mean you will be automatically featured in the magazine.
Every submission should:
Tell us a little about yourself (name, pronouns, race/identity, where you live, etc.)
Tell us why you want to work with Jaded Mag!
When sending your email, in the subject line, write Art - [whichever kind of art you do]. For example, the subject line could be Art - Painting if you’re a painter!
Please include working links to your art or attach clear images of your art.
Please tell us your experience with art, how long you’ve been doing it, etc.
When sending your email, in the subject line, write Writing - [whichever kind of writing you do]. For example, the subject line should be Writing - Articles if you’re a journalist!
Please include working links to your writing or attach documents of your writing.
Please tell us your experience with writing, how long you’ve been doing it, etc.
When sending your email, in the subject line, please indicate which one you do. If you’re a photographer the subject line can be Photography, and if you submit audio, it should be Music.
Please include working links to your photos/videos/music or attach your photos/videos/music.
Please tell us your experience with photography/videography/music, how long you’ve been doing it, etc.
I hoped to see a shooting star last night but I never did…but I caught one or two in my time lapse! One things I love about looking up into space is it doesn’t matter how you feel, as soon as you see the stars and how much there is out there, even more than what we can see, you realise that your problems don’t really matter and theres more to life than all these stupid things we get caught up in. Its just trying to keep that same feeling and thinking when you’re not lost in space.
While visiting Disneyland over the summer, I found myself rather inspired by Into the Magic Project and created a tilt-shift look at Disneyland. I know it’s not what you guys typically produce, but thought I’d share!
Holy tilt-shift! This is amazing!! Please make more!
