“So here’s the deal, I’m not going to post anymore about Bernie Sanders,
but I’m going to make my profile picture Bernie 2016 so my support can
still be evident. I want a woman in the White House, don’t misunderstand
me. But Hillary Clinton is too embroiled in merchandising and
flip-flopping politics for me. Yes she is female, yes she has done good
things in her life, and yes, I would love my first presidential ballot
to be for the first female president. But will she change anything?
Perhaps some of the misery that’s happened in my life over the last few
years has made me doubt that the federal government actually cares about
me, but Hillary Clinton with her massive amounts of wealth does not
know how it feels to be me. She doesn’t need my vote anyway, she can buy
a thousand more to replace me. This is the first time I’m voting in an
election, so I want to try to make this decision to help my future. Will
Bernie Sanders accomplish everything he’s been promising in four years?
Of course not, but if he gets some of them done, that’s a lot better
than Hillary bringing things back to the way they were in 90’s. Well
guess what, everything that happened in the 90’s behind closed doors
ultimately led to the economic situation of today. I don’t want to set
myself up for failure again. I have lost my home, my siblings are
drowning in student loans, and God knows how many other things have
happened. And it’s all because of money. Why does everyone want so much
money? Sure, we like money when we get new things or dream about what we
could get if we had some more, but why do 14 people in this country
have a greater amount of wealth than all the other citizens combined?
It’s not fair, and if you tell me it is, I refuse to believe you. So
yeah, Bernie Sanders is my pick for president. Call me a socialist, I
don’t care, because a lot of good these capitalists have done for me.”
