It was late, the sun setting just a few hours ago. He figured the streets would be empty. Enough for him to walk around without having to put up with people constantly pushing at him. He was wrong, there was an abundance of people walking around. Dressed in their best attire, a festival from what he could pick up.

With a scowl he tried to squeeze through, losing his footing, he stumbled forward. His chest bumping into a frail form. At first all he saw was red, stepping back he looked over at the girl. Musing on what to say, he seemed to blurt out the first thing that came to mind.

“You should have moved.”

Of Brass Buttons and Waistcoats Thorin glanced down at himself again with a gruff sigh; he had been living in The Shire for little over a year now, clad still in his heavy furs and thick leather boots, a layer of armour constantly tucked under his clothing as precaution. Bilbo didn’t mind, but it set the tongues of Hobbits wagging furiously with one another.

It made me complete Bilbo Baggins, master of Bag End and once a proper respectable Hobbit, never imagined waking to the warmth of a dwarf and the giggles of a fauntling being teased by his dwarf cousins.

Last Homely Hole Thorin wakes up in an unfamiliar room, feverish and in the care of a curious and quite gorgeous being. Last thing he remembers is tumbling down the hill in Hobbiton. Bilbo just wants to know who exactly did he have to lug to his house through the rain.

Forever after days: Thorin survives the battle, only to discover that the gold-sickness hasn’t completely released him from its hold. In the end, only one option remains: he must leave Erebor. Bilbo provides an unexpected solution.Or: the fic where they travel back to the Shire, while Thorin tries to sort through his many issues.

Mummer’s dance:  Bilbo Baggins had always been alone and had longed for someone of his own to fill his empty heart. The Tooks had invited him to their annual Spring Gathering, but it is not a normal family reunion. It is a tradition of courting hobbits and hopes of marriage. This odd tradition is known as the Mummer’s Dance and Bilbo must play his part although he feels that he will find no one. But the arrive of a group of strangers will change everything and Bilbo finds himself captivated by a foreign king.
