As one landmark rises, another falls.

The impending demolition of the Mayfair Hotel in downtown Kitchener has surprised many. I don’t think it’s a case of willful negligence as the city has pumped hundreds of thousands of public dollars in maintaining the structure pictured here in the bottom right. However it is still a disappointment that this 110 year old building will not be a part of the downtown’s future.

This day was fun because we were literally out all day exploring and the last two hours we stumbled upon this location and it was sick man. One thing we always try to do is make the most out of it because all of us have full time jobs so whenever we get out there we are going 100% full tilt. I want to go back to New York and explore.
