In the past few years, there has been a growing trend for vintage clothing in the fashion world, and Toronto is definitely following that wave!  With vintage stores such as Pretty FreedomCourage my LoveTimeless ApparelBlack Market69 VintageThe Public ButterHouse of Vintage (and the list goes on) becoming hit shopping spots in town. While giving  a second chance to old clothes that have had their time is exciting and has a great charm on its own, I believe it also shows the incredible creativity people have in envisioning and creating their own style. It is often those people that I admire most and really capture my attention during my strolls in the streets of Toronto. And these two students in fine arts are a great example, wearing exclusively vintage pieces, except for the Baggu bag ~ !

I have a weakness for girls with short hair! Especially when it’s platinum! (and notice that amazing tattoo!)

Here’s a new sketch I just made tonight for my sister’s fashion blog ’ Toronto Street Fashion Blogspot.ca

She goes out every weekend…yes! very diligent of her! to take photos of amazing people on the streets of Toronto.

And these images never fail to inspire me so I wanted to share them with you all!

Stumbled upon the Tweed Ride while on my regular photoshoot strolls on Queen street~
For those of you who have no clue what this event is about (and I personally had never heard of it before either), it happens once a year in Toronto, where a group of people wearing tweed, and basically dressed up in the ~1930-50’s, bike around the city of Toronto.
The route is revealed to the participants the day of, so it’s impossible for an outsider to know where their stop locations are.

But as determined as I am, it was too good of an opportunity to get great fashion photos to give up! So I decided to follow them as best as I could…on foot!
I don’t know how I managed…. but I definitely got my share of workout for the day~ Couldn’t feel my legs after that…..but it was definitely worth it! I hope you’ll enjoy these few shots~ ©Photos by Toronto Street Fashion Blogspot
