Okay, you know what? I’m not here to solve all your problems, Garrity. I’m not. I’m here to support you no matter what choice you make, that’s why I’m here. I’m your boyfriend, and I think I’m a pretty darn good one. You know what? Your dad threw you a good curve ball. But this self-pity that I’ve been seeing, it’s gotta stop. You’re better than that. And you can still get into any college you want. Any one you want, still. … If you can’t afford it, there’s scholarships to be had, I mean, your grades speak for themselves. And you know what? If it doesn’t, there’s San Antonio State, and I would love to have you. Did I just say I loved you? Did I? No? ‘Cause I’m kinda madly in love with you, and I’ll be here no matter what.

No matter what happens, no matter where you go, no matter what you do, I’m always gonna be behind you. Always and always and always.

when people don’t ship what i ship i’m not upset about it, i just feel like so bad for them because they don’t see what i see and that makes me sad.

I think it’s bullshit how quick they cut Tim’s and Lyla’s relationship. We’ve waited three seasons. Only get 13 episodes and write Tim off of ignoring Lyla, never calling her when she’s away at school, brushing her off but when she comes to town in season 4 and he admits that Lyla is his soulmate/love of his life. Okay, that makes total sense. Tim was madly in love with Lyla since season 1. Still is. He pined over her for two seasons and when he got her, he never wanted to let her go. He told her to go off to college because he didn’t want to hold her back but the writers had his character break up with Lyla via ignoring? Where does that make sense in his love for Lyla & character development? It just pisses me off that us Lyla & Tim shippers got a shitty end of the stick followed by the most heartbreaking Tim & Lyla episode to date. I believe with every fiber in my soul that Tim would’ve done everything he could to make that relationship work and that includes moving to Tennessee to be with Lyla. He wouldn’t throw the love of his life away like an empty beer can & as much as Lyla wanted to go off to college at Vandy, she would’ve done everything to be with Tim like moving back home even though she wanted to leave Dillon, TX.

Am I the only one who thinks this?
