PSA: GO TO A BASEBALL GAME THIS WEEKEND
Though we are, of course, monumentally excited for another series with the Seahawks, late September/early October also means late-season baseball, which is truly one of life’s greatest joys—especially when your Seattle Mariners are refusing to lose most nights and just barely dangling outside of the wildcard.
Whether we go to the playoffs or not—and we might! There are circumstances under which it could happen!—this weekend’s home games should really be totally packed. In part because it’s good for the team and also in part because baseball is fucking. Fun.
There are mad deals going on, which means you can get to the game for a song. You can save all your money to buy wildly expensive beer or you can just keep it together and eat a hot dog and ice cream out of a commemorative helmet like God and Normal Rockwell intended it.
These are the last days of regular baseball season. Go to a game.
