The-snow-Princess

  • Princess Emma: Please, don't hurt my parents.
  • Regina: Oh, but you see, hurting them, is the point. Unless you know of some ~hero~ who could stop me. *walks in circles waiting for Emma to remember*
  • Princess Emma: *kneels* Mercy. Please.
  • Regina: *sighs* Look for that hero, Princess. And when you find one. You know where to find us. *vanishes with Snowing*

May I remind you of Princess Snow? The girl before her father’s death who was more than a bit spoiled and self-centered? The girl who ran from her would-be murderer and survived on the kindness of strangers until she could learn to fight and lead on her own?

Snow White as a warrior princess didn’t happen overnight or by dint of her intrinsic awesomeness. She came about through adversity. She became a fighter because it was literally fight or die. This did not happen by accident (and I don’t think it’s an accident we got a flashback to her early bandit days a few episodes ago).

Princess Emma was who she was because she hadn’t faced adversity. Her life in the AU may have been easier, but that life didn’t make her Emma Swan.
